Ain't No Place For No Hero (For Sleeper)

Unread post by Dubski »

"I said hey! Look at me when I talk to you!" shouted one Roni Mancini, dressed in her typical ring gear. In front of her was a very timid and afraid small blonde girl, not looking like she was any kind of performer, but instead just a backstage assistant. "I'm pretty sure I asked for a freaking decaf! Is this difficult for you to understand!?" she yelled.

The Italian was already in a bad mood. The last thing she wanted to do with her day was come into the arena and pose for some pictures. She had been irritable, moreso than usual, and rather nasty to everyone. And in between the photo shoots, Roni was left to her own devices. And she wanted a god damn coffee. Decaf. Because she hated feeling hyped up on that shit.

"And did you even put any cream in this thing!? It's pitch black!" exclaimed Roni, throwing the cup of coffee against the wall in the hallway she was yelling at the poor girl.

The backstage assistant's eyes were welling up in tears as she timidly took a step back away from the Hitwoman. "I'm... I'm sorry. You didn't tell me that you wanted-"

"Do not back talk me little girl," said the purple-haired brawler through gritted teeth. She grabbed the blonde by her shirt and yanked her closer. The backstage assistant yelped and started actively crying now. "I've freaking knocked out girls' teeth for less! So go ahead and give me a reason!" bellowed the girl, glaring at her with red eyes. It was looking rather grim for the girl as nobody seemed to be around to help save this backstage attendant in a very bad situation.

Aika herself had just been warming up in the gym when she heard the commotion. Dressed in a form fitting spandex suit, save for her exposed arms, she was just heading backstage before she noticed the sounds of distress. Stopping in her tracks, she backed up a few steps and peeked around the corner. Her jaw hit the floor when she saw the woman menacing that poor assistant!

Without a second's hesitation, she marched up the hall and grabbed the heel roughly by the shoulders! Spinning her around, she gave her a rough shove, "What the hell? Leave the poor girl alone! You wanna rough around, save it for the ring!"

She puffed out her chest, getting right in the woman's face without a trace of fear in her eyes

Roni Mancini was about to continue shouting at the backstage attendant when she was grabbed by the shoulder and spun around. The Italian was then shoved and took a step back from it, with a very incredulous and confused expression on her face, staring at the girl in spandex. The assistant took the distraction to hurriedly run away. She listened to the words, and normally she may have laughed or have been amused by some chick having the girl-balls to grab her and yell at her.

But today was not such a day. Today was a day in which Roni Mancini was quite annoyed and without coffee. It was a day where the Italian bruiser didn't want to deal with anyone, no less some she-knight in white armor. Her rage simmering, Mancini stepped forward to close the distance between them, and she looked right back at Aika and said simply in a voice barely containing her fury, "Get the hell away from me. Or I will put you down."

A small voice in the back of Aika's head told her there was no need to pursue any more violence with Roni after that shove. The assistant was safe, so all should be well right? No.....this woman had an attitude problem, and if Aika had to slug her in the jaw to make her see that, then so be it. She pressed their chests together, getting right into her face, "I'd like to see you TRY!"

To emphasize her point, she jabbed her finger in Roni's shoulder, not showing any fear. That was a hero's job after all!

This girl just put her chest against hers. And she just poked her in the shoulder. Roni took a look at Aika, then a look at her shoulder, then looked right back to Aika. She was dead, Roni thought. Mancini went to shove Aika in the face with her palm, aiming to push her away. "Wrong move, loser!" yelled out Roni angrily.

She would then wait for Aika to come back at her before trying to cut her off at the pass with a stiff punch to Aika's jaw with the intent of knocking her on her. She did not want to deal with Aika today, but she did have a thought that beating up a stupid wannabe tough girl would be much better for her than screaming at what was most likely an underpaid intern.

Aika knew it was coming eventually. But it still didn't prepare her for the fist slamming into her jaw. The punch sent her world into a daze, spinning her in a full 360 degree circle! Not putting the momentum to waste, she cocked her elbow, ready to bring it around and slam the beautiful heel right in her stupid jaw!

The hero stripped her cape off, throwing it aside and attempted to make a grab for Roni. She was gonna throw this garbage into the ring, so everyone would see how bullying the weak got you nowhere in here, especially with heroes around!

Roni Mancini looked satisfied with herself at the punch, seeing her current punching bag flailing around, but she was surprised by an elbow shot right to her jaw that staggered her and made her yell out in surprise! The Italian held her jaw, looking highly irritated, even moreso than she had been. Typically when they fought back it would entertain her. But again, not today. And not with some caped clown like this girl.

She felt Aika grab her, and instinctively, Roni grabbed her back and then fought against whatever she was going to try to do. She wrestled with her for a moment before finally turning and attempting to throw her back-first into the nearest wall. She was slowly beginning to really look forward to thrashing this chick.

Just SEEING the look of dumb shock on Roni's face made this whole thing worth it. Everyone always laughed at the tights, the cape, the hero talk. They all shut up when her fist cracked their jaw! That usually showed them real quick that Aika wasn't just another pretty face in the division. She was someone to look out for, and definitely someone you didn't want to piss off.

Though it became apparent that Roni was just as raring to go as she was, reversing her grapple attempt and throwing her into the hard stone wall! Her spine collided with the surface, resulting in an audible thud that made the heroine hiss in pain, stunned momentarily from the impact. Her leg instinctively came up to throw a shot to the midsection, hoping to stop the villain mid step to open her up for another knock out punch to the jaw!

Roni Mancini did not want to deal with a loser like this one, not with her mood how it was today. And she wasn't about to let her outmuscle her either. The Hitwoman had slammed her against the wall and went to come back at her when Aika had cut her off with a another hit to the midsection. She doubled over with a yell and picked her head back up, just narrowly ducking the punch she was aiming to send her way.

While ducked down, Roni attempted to grab Aika around the waist and drive her shoulder into her midsection, hoping to send a strong hit into her gut and keep her back against the wall. If the Italian could land that, she had every intention of backing off to try and hit her with a big punch to the belly to keep her winded and easy to control.

The punch barely whiffed past Roni's head, leaving the hero wide open for another shoulder thrust into the midsection, crushing Aika against the stone wall. The consecutive blows to her abdomen were taking their toll. Underneath the shiny spandex, her abs were already showing the punishment, and even she was having trouble staying on her feet. Stumbling slightly, she was unable to avoid the hard punch to the stomach! The impact doubled the hero over the fist, mouth open and gasping for breath. She clutched at the heel, almost desperate to keep herself standing.
