What a racket- Gail vs Raquel!

*The reassuring sensation of Raquel's shapely figure bouncing off of her well timed shin raise brought a flicker of hope to her otherwise despondent situation. Watching the supple blonde haphazardly flail about bestowed Gail with the opportunity to capitalize on this situation, and that she did, scurrying to an adjacent rope while scaling the turnbuckle before finally returning to her ready, yet slightly unsteady feet.*

"A..alright hot stuff, I think it's time I put an end to this~" *The jade cyclone traipsed towards her incapacitated foe, snagging a clump of her flowing hair while viciously dragging the weary woman back to her feet in order to prepare Raquel for her finisher, The Eye of the Storm!* "Just hold still for me, and I promise to this will be as painless as possible."

Raquel was stumbling as staggering forward as Gail dragged her up. Raquel tried to push and swat at Gail's grip trying desperately to free herself! "L-let go....." Raquel pleaded as she struggled against Gails grip in an effort to try to escape! However Raquel was weakened and still in a daze after the recent turn of events in the match left her in a very bad way!

Raquel hoped against hope that she wasn't about to blow it against a rookie in the final minutes of a match yet again. She struggled and tried to shove Gail away but it seemed to be to no avail!

*Sensing that Raquel had depleted the vast majority of her energy much earlier in the match, Gail knew she needed to capitalize on this opportunity before it completely passed her by. Sizing up the weary bombshell, Gail forcefully shoved the busty blonde backwards with the palms of her hands, before twirling around and striking Raquel on the side of her face, connecting with her finishing move at full force by sending her opposite fist across Raquel's face!*

*The crowd erupted with jubilation for the promising, young rookie- Not only had she managed to hold her own against a talented adversary such as Raquel, but she seemed to be on the precipice of achieving a huge, stunning victory over her as well!* "Keep it up, tiny tornado!" *A supportive voice cheered, Gail looking over her shoulder and shooting a thumbs up in the general direction of where the noise came from. She felt her body beginning to shake uncontrollably, fully aware of what was happening- Gail was exhausted, praying that this final blow would be enough to claim victory.*

Raquel thought she was free and winding up to land a kick of her own but she was out of place as Gail's strike hammered her sending her to the mat in a heap! Raquel's ears were ringing and she went down hard laying there lifelessly after her hard landing. She couldn't really see her vision was fuzzy and nearly blacked out. Raquel was down and out after Gail hammered her leaving her wide open for whatever Gail wanted to do next with nothing Raquel could do to prevent it.

*The second she felt the tremors from Raquel's body ricocheting off the floor beneath her, Gail leapt forward and threw herself across the immobilized woman's body, struggling to contain her excitement as a confluence of both excitement and prostration began to consume her. Hooking the leg to make it a legitimate attempt, The audience waited with baited breath, eager to witness the potential victory that the diminutive whirlwind had worked so hard to achieve, as the official near ringside began the count!*

"ONE..." *The thunderous voice called, everyone remaining as still and silent as stone statues, lingering on the verge of a volcanic eruption if what they were predicting were to become a reality. Gail clung to her adversary's body as tightly as she could, silently hoping that the officious pressure would prevent her from kicking out at the last second.*

Raquel barely moved as she was pinned and it was clear to the crowd as soon as the one count hit without resistance that this was all but over.

"TWO! THREE!"

The bell rang and Raquel was barely aware of it, slowly moving her arms up to cover her head as she rolled to her side, once more defeated by a woman in her debut match. Raquel laid there on her side and could only hope that LAW brass didn't see her as the lightweight division doormat to welcome in the new talent on the roster. She groaned and lightly kicked the mat, hearing Gail's theme music. It all seemed like a bit of a bad dream but Raquel knew it was really happening. Right now she laid there covering her face as she hoped Gail would celebrate and leave Raquel in peace.

"Woah...I won?" *Gail pondered what had just transpired, slightly rising to her knees as the standing ovation from the spectators reinforced the reality of her situation. She had, through sheer perseverance, managed to triumph over the seemingly relentless bombshell, Raquel! Utterly stunned at how she managed to accomplish such a feat, Gail took in a deep, calm breath before gingerly tucking herself underneath the golden blonde's arm to help her back to her feet.*

"Hey, you were fantastic. A few more of those head slams and I would have been a goner." *She tentatively approached the potentially tense situation, a natural chuckle breaking the awkward silence between them while the surrounding fans began chanting* "What a match! What a match!" *Indiscriminately in show of support towards both women.*

Raquel felt Gail helping her up, and she did appreciate the gesture. She just couldn't help but feel upset with herself for a let down loss. She just began to build momentum and took it for granted. Raquel had a lot of work to do if she was going to prove her family wrong about her being able to make it in the ring. She had to show them she could succeed and not just get a few "lucky" wins in the ring.

"Thanks. You wrestled really well and stuff. Like, good job." Raquel said as she got up. Once she was on her own feet she began to walk away from Gail. "You won, enjoy the spotlight and all that. You earned it." Raquel said with a nod as she made her way to the ropes, dropping down to roll underneath. Raquel landed gingerly on the outside, her head still swimming as she began to wobble her way to the ramp in order to head back to the locker room.
