No girls allowed! Lex vs Dave!

*Time had slowly crept by him, and Lex had been quietly improving his wrestling acumen over the course of the past few months- Ever since his abysmal debut and mortifying defeat at the hands of Melody, he had spent countless hours in the Gem's Haven, being the personal chew toy for Jess's pitbull aggression during their excruciatingly painful lessons, he felt as if he was finally prepared to reinvent himself as a serious contender on the predominantly female roster. Releasing a relatively anxious* "Haaah..." *He was given the signal to enter. As his theme music subsequently played, Lex was met with a surprising amount of support from the masculine side of the crowd, while the feminine presence made their opinions heard by chanting* "Chau-vin-ist!" *As he casually trotted towards the outskirts of the unoccupied arena. Coming to grips that he was, indeed, about to engage in a fight with another male, Lex swung himself over the top ropes and eventually tossed his trench coat to the side, revealing his rock hard abs. This act alone managed to coax out a few coos and cat calls from some slightly inebriated women, causing a light blush to spread across his cheeks. Lex began hopping on the balls of his feet, eagerly waiting for his opponent for the evening to make his long-awaited appearance.*

Noo sooner had the Chauvinist chants began to die, than Dave's theme music began to play! The crowd erupted into cheers, as the former AFW 24/7 Champion made his way to the ramp in his first official LAW match. High fiving fans along the way, the young man rolled into the ring with a bright smile on his face. Already he could feel the change. This place was electric, and they were ready for a fight!

Bouncing from one foot to the other, he cracked his neck, moving forward for his opponent to meet in the center of the ring

"Well now..." *Lex chuckled, the captivating energy that easily radiated from the challenger's exuberant glow became suffocating in a heartbeat. He knew that the disdain towards him was immense sure, but for the audience to shift at such a radical pace was quite uncanny. Still, he had an impressive physique, and the silver-haired hotshot wasn't about to let an opportunity to silence the supportive fans pass him by. Ambling towards the center of the squared circle, before shooting a playful wink in his direction.* "Go easy on me, big guy~"

*Slanting his body backwards in a pugilistic stance, Lex rolled his arms inwards to form a boxed guard around his midsection, his feet constantly in motion to keep the momentum high and consistent. Once the bell finally sounded, Lex instantaneously dipped forward, attempting to press the offense with a massive, overhand right hook aimed at Dave's maw.*

Dave could only smirk in response to the teasing wink. He had dealt with opponent's like this in the past. Been there, done that. All that mattered to him was pinning him for the three count in this match! Throughout the stare down, his brown orbs were fixed on Lex's body, monitoring every movement of the arms and legs. He wanted to play the speed game? Fine.

The bell rang, and the man actually went for the hook, ducking forward to nail him! Dave backpedaled, with the fist barely grazing the skin of his cheek. The rapid movement however made it difficult for him to keep a level footing, and as a result scrambled to the ropes in an attempt to remain standing.

*Admittedly shocked at just how nimble his adversary was, Lex couldn't help but chuckle at how narrowly his fist had missed his intended target.* "Well now, you might just make this worth my while." *He commented, recoiling his fist backwards in order to prevent a potential, retaliatory strike. Realizing that a frontal assault wasn't going to get him anywhere, Lex took a moment before proceeding with his alternate strategy.*

"Suppose I'm going to have to actually try against you, hm~" *He remarked while shuffling forward, before springing towards the slender boy and ensnaring him in a trapping clinch. Lex immediately tucked his right fist against Dave's tummy, repeatedly striking him in the stomach in a rather firm manner in order to assert his dominance early on in the brawl.*

Dave smirked at the praise. Seemed like Lex was gonna take him seriously after all! That half assed fist wasn't going to do anything! This could be the win that would boost Dave's confidence! Lately he had his doubts, and a victory would prove he can still hang in the ring! That's when Lex got REAL up close and personal, pulling him into a boxing clinch while hammering away at his abs! The young man gasped and choked with each hard hitting strike!

Reeling from the barrage, he attempted to shove the heel away, giving him enough distance to spin on his foot, bringing his leg up for a roundhouse kick to the skull!

*As his devastating blows seemed to connect in an unfettered fashion, Lex began to snicker at the almost effortless victory he was about to achieve. His strikes continued to rain down upon the unresponsive Dave, hammering away at his midsection with the sole purpose of inflicting as much damage as he possibly could. Surprisingly enough, it appeared as though his prey had enough intellect to shove him backwards, preparing to answer the previous assault with a sleek leg strike to his cranium.*

"Hmhm, isn't that just precious~" *The inventor retorted, his calculating tactics before backpedaling away from the incoming attack. Once he had narrowly avoided the failed attempt at making contact, he promptly shot inwards and snagged Dave's neck, hoisting him high into the air for the crowd to gawk at.* "I think it's time I gave you a new angle on life." *He stated in a snarky manner, balancing him in midair before subsequently slamming him down against the ring canvas!*

Dave had hoped that his roundhouse kick would have at least leveled the playing field in terms of the pair's fight. Sadly Lex seemed wise to his plans, backing off at just the right moment. Without connecting the move, it just left Dave stumbling right into the waiting arms of his opponent! Damn it! This isn't how this was supposed to go!!!

The young brunette yelped when Lex made a grab for his neck, dragging him in and effortlessly lifting him straight up into the air! Despite wiggling his body in a way to throw his opponent off balance, it was mere child's play for Lex to bring Dave crashing down on the back of his head and neck in a devastating brainbuster! The slam left the young man rolling on the canvas, hands clutching the back of his head while his boots kicked at the air.

*The reverberating slam seemed to have done the trick, as Dave was essentially incapacitated for the time being. However, being as experienced as he was, Lex knew that dawdling for too long would only allow his prey to recuperate the energy he had previously squandered. So, in an effort to maintain this streak of momentum he had going, Lex promptly strode towards the immobilized Dave and knelt down, looming overtop of him with a sadistic grin stretching across his face.*

"You know Davy boy, the ladies always tell me I have a habit for leaving them breathless..." *He began, before inching his way towards Dave's vulnerable neck and slamming it down against the base of his throat.* "So, tell me, do you think I'm all bluster or is there any truth behind that? I gasp for yes, two gasps for no." *He chuckled maniacally while nonchalantly flexing, telling the audience that he wasn't fazed in the slightest.*

The slam had managed to do it's work, leaving Dave stunned on the mat. The young man tried rolling this way and that, forcing his body to move, but Lex was not ready to let him go that easily. Lex asked his question, eyes shining with a sadistic gleam before he slammed the knee on his throat! No sound escaped Dave's mouth, even though it looked like he was screaming his heart out. His hand leaped for his neck, his body rolling and kicking at the canvas.

For a solid 20 seconds, he couldn't breathe....that was the worst part of all this. Weak gasps eeked out of his lungs, wit the young man in no condition to fight right now!
