Morgan Frey vs. Veronica Maddox - Me vs. The World

As Morgan got closer to Veronica to land the clothesline, she didn't expect to get hit with a punch by her, and she stumbled back, reeling by the punch. Grunting as she immediately planted her feet on the mat to regain her bearing and balance, Morgan took a look at Veronica to see if she was about to launch her next attack.

Thinking that she got enough time to sneak in an attack, Morgan would then try to close in once again, but this time, as soon as she got closer, she would dip low as she would try to tackle Veronica down into the mat with a spear!

Who knew her opponent was so tenacious, trying to fool someone who is just about to the point of not regretting anything and taking her chances elsewhere. Wanting to break that damned ankle monitor, but knowing full well that whatever she could do to it, it wouldn't matter. So instead, she focuses her attention back towards the fight, a clear precedent of not wanting to be here, nor fighting here is starting to get to her better judgement. Seeing that her punch seemed to only make her opponent more fired up, and realizing that she, herself is super fucking pissed, flashes of red and the tormenting voices of something from ancient's past utters, Beckon Down! Using her dominant right hand, she tries to grab Morgan, and aiming to slam her head into the mat, repeatedly. Victory is not what she wants, Veronica just wants this carnival of madness to end. Go to Hell! She screams towards no one in particular, no one that anyone can see anyways.

It turned out that Veronica managed to anticipate her move as Morgan was grabbed by her. Her head was grabbed by her opponent, who proceeded to bring her head down into the mat and repeatedly slammed her head against the canvas, eliciting cries of pain from the petite purple-clad wrestler.

"Urghh!! Urrghhh!!"

The move ensured that Morgan would be stunned, which would allow Veronica to follow up with more attacks. Morgan was left stunned, unable to defend herself against whatever her opponent would throw at her next.

Exasperated and realizing that the only way to go home tonight is to continue fighting, Veronica reminisces of a great song, a fantastic classical piece, a score... with cannons! Preparing a windup in her arms as she gets ready to deliver a frontal barrage, grabbing her opponent by the hair and pulling the young woman to her feet, staring dead serious in the eyes, Do you like cannons? Cause I sure do! Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture's most well known cannons begins to play in The Scarlet Agent's mind, pulling back her right arm and delivering as hard of a high powered roundhouse punch, but not stopping there, repeats it with both arms, over and over and over again.

Within the audience, there is a somber clapping, a piercing sound that starts to irritate Miss. Maddox. An insistent noise that seems to pluck a ethereal chord within her self, like bees buzzing or nails on chalkboard, the noise gets louder and louder. Without realizing it, she left her opponent's face bloody and bruised. I really am unraveling myself here, but who is it that's doing this. It must be them, or was it that voice? Sporadically mumbling to herself, a breakdown is imminent, there is only so much emotionally you can repress, before circumstances leads to an epiphany of cosmic madness. Heh, looks like I have found some very intriguing individuals here. Whispers a melancholy voice to individuals known and unknown, piercing the confined familiar winds. Words that those touched by this dark hand hear and relate to, whether knowing or not knowing.

While Morgan was still reeling from her opponent's attacks before, she was unable to defend herself against the barrage of Veronica's next attacks as she took blows repeatedly after being pulled up by her. Desperately, Morgan would try to shield herself against the attacks with her arms, hoping to block most of the attacks as she tried to come up with a solution to her predicament.

Whatever internal soliloquy her opponent had, Morgan would pay it no mind as she would try to deliver a straight toe kick to her belly, hoping that it would catch her off-guard and make her double over so that she could try grabbing her head.

Realizing what she did to her opponent and completely dazed from what's happening, the emotional breakdown taking its toll on Veronica, she collapses down, but from Morgan's blow and the dooming shock that just happened to her. Looking for guidance from the unknown voice, but hearing nothing but white noise, the madness looms over her, caressing her and pushing her deeper down. A sharp toe kick coming from out of nowhere sends Veronica further into the mat. Feeling someone grabbing her head, but not sure what to do, she accepts and leaves herself blind as she fumbles around in the unknown, still searching for a voice. Out of nowhere, from somewhere faraway she hears a dismissal of someone's voice, someone she doesn't recognize, but dismissing their disapproval and casting out their disgust for someone plagued by madness.

Her life is in crumbles, she has blood whether real or metaphorical on her hands, she is tempted by madness and somewhere out there is someone watching her failures and considering what to do. Either she gets up and fights or lets corruption take root and force its hand till she is no longer herself. It sickens me to see someone tempted like this, brother. Says a rough, but seemingly younger voice to someone else. Faraway in the back of the arena a conversation between two individuals that neither make themselves known but yet hold commanding authority to no one that matters. Life is something behold, thinks the other, but madness corrupts absolute, ponders the individual.

Still having no idea what was happening inside Veronica's head and still not caring about it even if she knew about it, Morgan decided to follow through with her motion now that she was holding onto Veronica's head after having her double over. She would pull said head into a front facelock, snugly locking said head under her arm, and without wasting any motion, she would drop back, bringing Veronica's with her, driving her head into the mat with a DDT, looking to deal more damage on her opponent.

As her reverie came to an end by an insane amount of pain and force dropped by her opponent, Veronica snapped out of it and came to, realizing the state that she is in. Glancing around anxiously, trying to see something that isn't there and failing to catch a vanishing glimpse, a ferocious energy emerged within her. Wanting to be brought back down in the madness and furthermore tainted by something corrupt, she frantically tries to kick out of Morgan's grasp on her.

Finding herself out of options in her repertoire of her arsenal, something dark and sinister seems to reach out towards her, gesturing something diabolic of use. Taking her hand out and grabbing hold of something clearly not there, a electric moving through her body, she races for her opponent and does a leaping motion aiming her toes at her opponent skull. If all goes well, she will then proceed to try to skullstomp her, regardless of ethics or anything, the dark, sinister voice pushes her on.

At first, Morgan thought that the DDT should've done the trick, but much to her surprise, her opponent somehow had some fights left in her as she bucked Morgan off of her. Releasing Veronica from her grip, Morgan would then try to distance herself from her as she would try to come up with her next plan, but before she could do so, she took a kick to the side of her head, which rattled her.

"URGH!!"

Not only that, Veronica also proceeded to stomp her head into the mat, and she let out a pained scream upon taking it. Her head throbbed painfully from the attack, leaving her weakened and exposed to what Veronica would try to do next.

Even with the fiery energy Veronica felt well up inside her, the DDT her opponent did to her finally caught up to her, with a sudden crash to the ground and the pain that she suffered from her powerful adversary and the mental exhaustion she has felt all match. The Scarlet Agent is brought to her knees. Chuckling to herself, she thinks, how did she even manage to do that? With a tired breath and her arms splayed out on the mat, she awaits whatever punishment her opponent is going to do to her. Thinking to herself about how unnecessary her attacks were, granted they did good damage, but she feels as though her back is going to give out and her muscles are on fire.

I hope your next move will bring lights out to me or prove that you are the skilled fighter. Veronica says under her breath, really just wanting the warmth of her bed and to get off her feet, wondering if she even has the fight left to go on. This was a pretty good fight, albeit the mental trauma and breakdown wasn't, but it was surely to happen at some point for her, she ponders. What will Morgan do? What will she do? Thinking once again to herself, barely enough energy to say anything more to her opponent.
