Alisa Krupin vs. Raquel Masters

Unread post by Highfly »

Raquel paced back and forth, clad in her wrestling attire. She was anxious. She lost her debut and wanted to more than make up for it tonight. She had never heard of Alisa before, and was sure Alisa had no clue who she was.

Raquel was going to make sure everyone knew who she was after tonight. She was not taking anything for granted, and going all out from the start.

As her music played she hopped out holding a fist in the air and bouncing down the ramp to a bigger reaction from the crowd than she had after her first match. At least they appreciated her effort in the loss, and the cheers felt good to hear.

Raquel jumped up onto the apron in one leap, then over the ropes in another. After strutting around the ring a moment she turned to look up the ramp.

Alisa would get the nod that it was her time to move down the entrance ramp. Her opponent already having been introduced, Alisa could hear the crowd and their reaction toward her opponent. Thinking in her head that she was going to have to play the bad girl, Alisa was starting to adjust to the crowd and how she should manipulate them. Moving down the ramp, Alisa was predictably showered with a few cheers as the majority of the crowd was booing her.

Alisa was wearing her standard ring attire of a sports bra and skirt. As she would move down the ramp, Alisa would stop a few times and mess with the crowd to get them riled up even further. This was all about entertaining the fans first for Alisa at this point. Once Alisa got into the ring however, it was "go time" and Alisa did little aside from focus herself on the task at hand.

Raquel stood by with her hands on her hips, pacing a bit as Alisa walked down the ramp. Raquel nodded to her as she made her way inside the ring and extended her hand. "All right, lets have us a good match huh?" She said fairly pleasantly. Raquel didn't want things to be nasty, as she had a good debut, even though she lost it was intense but nothing mean spirited. She hoped for the intensity coupled with a victory this time.

After the acceptance or rejection of the handshake, Raquel went back to hopping around as the bell rang circling very quickly on Alisa moving in and ducking out. Then when she had an opening Raquel would quickly step in and send a fast kick to the side of Alisa's mid-section!

Alisa would be met by her opponent in the middle of the ring and would accept the handshake. Alisa was not an outright dirty fighter by any means and wanted to respect the ring more than anything. Shaking hands with her adversary, Alisa would also reply "Good match, yes." while bowing her head slightly. As both backed away from each other for the start of the match, Alisa would have noticed that she was up against another much smaller opponent. There was about 6 inches difference in their height and Alisa could only assume that she was heavier. These smaller women were giving her some trouble so far in this federation so Alisa was going to be on her guard.

After the bell rang, Alisa was given mostly what she expected. Raquel was smaller and faster than she was and it was fairly evident that this disadvantage in speed would be what would be used against Alisa. Taking a few swings at her opponent, Alisa would catch little more than air as Raquel ducked in and dodged out of the way of the opening salvo. Alisa would take a kick to the side for her troubles which she was partially able to block by moving her arm over to help absorb some of the impact.

With Alisa on the defensive as Raquel landed the first significant strike, it was time to back off a little and try to recover from the kick that slammed into her side. Hopefully Alisa could try to identify some form of pattern or mistake that Raquel would make so that she could take the offensive. The last thing she would want is to get picked apart by the faster opponent.

Raquel landed the kick and saw Alisa back off. Raquel sent a message and had options open to her now. However, the speedy Bostonian often took too much time to think of what do to instead of actually taking action. It cost her against Asuka who made her tap out. Raquel couldn't allow that to happen again. She had to be decisive. Raquel had to be confident.

She could try to pick her apart but that would be boring, a big waste of time and energy. Instead Raquel rushed straight at Alisa and leapt into the air, kicking her legs out to try to land a hard dropkick to Alisa's chest! It wasn't the most graceful, but it was fast. Should it connect, Raquel was fairly sure she would send Alisa down to the mat, leaving her open to even more of Raquels speedy, flying offense.

With Alisa recoiling backward from the kick, her opponent would attempt to close the distance by taking the most direct route. Opting to jump at Alisa, her opponent would find that Alisa was not quite as vulnerable as she had made herself out to be. With the brief moment that Alisa was able to buy with backing off, it would allow her time enough to get her hands up and would again absorb a good deal of the dropkick that Raquel would deliver.

Using the momentum as she was pushed backward, Alisa would realize that she was already pushed back to the ropes. While Raquel was landing from the dropkick, Alisa would try to use this to her advantage by using the ropes to springboard herself back toward Raquel. If Raquel were to stay on the ground then Alisa would simply leap over her and try to again rebound herself off the ropes. The end goal for Raquel would be to deliver a simple clothesline at some point so that she could try to get the other woman down onto the ground. If Alisa could nullify Raquel's speed then it was going to be a fairly straightforward path to victory Alisa thought to herself.

Raquel felt the dropkick land, and as she herself landed and rose to her feet she came to the painful realization that her kick was off the mark! "Wha--UNGH!" Raquel groaned as she rose up to her feet, turning to face Alisa just in time to be clotheslined unforgivingly back down to the canvass!

Raquel coughed a couple times as her hands rubbed her upper chest at the point of impact. She tried sitting up, but only found herself flopping back down on the mat looking up at the bright arena lights! Raquel wanted desperately to get up and take a much more sound defensive position but her body was just not cooperating at this moment!

Alisa would see that Raquel was not able to get herself up. Maybe it was time to attempt to go for a pinfall and catch everyone by surprise. Trying to keep things simple, Alisa would roll up one of Raquel's legs and try to go for a quick pinfall attempt. It would take the referee a half second or so before they were in proper position to start counting the fall, but nonetheless Alisa had Raquel in a pinning predicament early on in the match.

"ONE!" The referee would declare after slapping the mat. All Alisa needed to do was keep Raquel down for two more seconds and she could collect a fairly easy win.

Raquel felt Alisa lay on top of her for the pin! She flailed and squirmed a bit as the count started! The count would reach one, and Raquel made it clear she had plenty left in the tank as she let out a scream, bridging her back to raise her shoulders off the mat in a more classic Japanese style breaking of a pin count!

"Gonna have to do better than that..." Raquel said as she worked her way up to her feet, making her way to the nearest ropes, trying to bounce off and build momentum to go along with her speed. Raquel jumped up and spun in the air, swinging her legs around to try to catch Alisa with a running spinning wheel kick to the upper chest or face!

It was wishful thinking on Alisa's part to think that she would pin her opponent so easily. After little more than a one count, Alisa would find herself being almost thrown off of her downed opponent. Rolling away, Alisa would find that she took a little too much time to get herself back up to a ready position. Her adversary had not wasted any time in getting back onto the offensive and as soon as Alisa would turn herself around she barely had any time to get her arms up in a position to stop Raquel from colliding into her with a spinning wheel kick.

Alisa was able to partially block the maneuver with her arms absorbing a small amount of the impact, but the force from the impact still sent Alisa flying straight down to the mat. Trying to recover was a little tough though as Alisa would need a few moments to recover. Between the impact of the move and the additional impact of hitting the mat, Alisa was knocked for a bit of a loop. Simply laying prone on the mat, Alisa was barely able to even attempt anything as she tried to regain her senses from the last attack.
