Mission 01: Goddess of Love (Marceline vs. Aphrodite)

The total dominance that the general was exerting over the goddess was something that was evident at a glance during the match, with the Argentine keeping her opponent at her mercy at all times and making it clear which woman had the better skills in the ring in terms of performance, not charisma or charm in the ring, because the Goddess of Love’s attempts to escape and her tantrums elicited a stronger reaction from the audience than Marceline’s solemn and serious demeanor.

After that devastating move, the leader of the Misfits decided to continue her absolute dominance of the match by applying a jaw-crushing hold to the goddess Persephone, who tried to retreat to the ropes to recover but was given no time to prepare before being subdued once again by her opponent. Luckily, Marcy was wearing SDI gloves, so she didn’t have to get her hands wet from the saliva her opponent had drooled due to such a humiliating and painful submission. Now, desperate to escape, the blonde resorted to a dirty move with a classic finger poke to the eyes. Although the Perfect Soldier didn’t take the full brunt of it, it was annoying enough to make her release her opponent and give her a chance to counterattack once and for all.

Aphrodite had in effect free herself through dirty means, something that she was intimately familiar with doing against various opponents before and would be no different than any other. This goddess of love had freed herself from the clutches of a dastardly mandible claw and was now rubbing her now sore jaw with an exasperated expression as she crawled back for a few moments before taking a few moments to get up partially.

"Alright then..." she says before a small leap forward from a kneeling position, looking aim a vicious knees strike towards the perfect soldier's face. If anything, Aphrodite was persistent, unwilling to quit as she pushed herself hard to do whatever she could to win even in the face of such struggles as she did now.

Marceline might be a first-class general, but even she wasn’t immune to every kind of attack or dirty trick. The important thing in these situations, however, was always being able to recover from the blow, and that was something the leader of the Misfits and the goddess of love both knew. The latter had to prevent the Argentine from recovering.

Immediately after breaking free, Aphrodite delivered a knee strike straight to the “Unmovable Force’s” chin, a blow that could have instantly knocked someone out if it had hit a nerve, which frightened the general’s two brothers. Instead, something unexpected happened.

Marceline’s entire back was thrown backward to a ridiculous extent, but despite everything, she remained standing with almost perfect balance. Raising one arm, she gestured to the blonde, as if to say, “Come and get me,” while remaining in that position. The commander wanted the Greek goddess to attack again, but this time she would be prepared.

The knee strike's aim was true and hard. The blonde goddess wasn't a push over when it came to her attacks and many of them were decidedly painful and done with a zeal and skill that didn't ever seem to match her track record. It was just that Marceline here seemed to be so tough and direct that it was a testament to how Marceline was a fighter. Sturdy like a brick wall as Aphrodite looked amazed... briefly until it turned to anger as instead of throwing another strike, the busy blonde went in for a grapple, attempting to go right into it with a collar and elbow hold.

"Think I'm stupid?!" Aphrodite cried out in disgust as she tried to go for an arm hold, twisting it. Heels didn't play fair and Aphrodite was one among them, changing direct tactics to force this ring general, "I'll make you beg you bitch!"

Marceline was always a tough nut to crack and hard to convince, whether in combat, arguments, or anything else. It was almost a family trait that they almost never backed down in any complicated situation and tended to be quite stubborn or tenacious, depending on how you looked at it or whether you were for or against her, and, much to the chagrin of the goddess of love, she was against her. Aphrodite was enraged by the general’s actions and applied a collar-and-elbow hold that, while painful, wasn’t so bad that the general couldn’t endure it; she remained silent and refrained from letting out a cry of pain.

This enraged Aphrodite even more, and she began screaming out her hatred for the general, switching her hold to an arm lock. But Marceline still didn’t make a sound, which surely made Aphrodite see red, and it didn’t help that Marceline, using her free arm, began striking the blonde’s unprotected torso.
