The moment she successfully managed to connect with her elbow drop, Raya felt firsthand just how powerful Kyoko's abs were, she had intended to do a lot more damage than had been dealt, but at least it had been enough to make her opponent cough up a little, no matter how much she gloated she couldn't take away the fact that Raya had at least done that to her.

But still, Raya was not satisfied with merely landing a couple of blows on the former champion, she wanted a win to cement herself. And so instinctively and without thinking, she quickly got on top of Kyoko who was trying to push her off, and then inexplicably, having completely forgotten the type of match she was competing in, Raya pushed Kyoko’s shoulders down onto the mat and held her in a pin, to the confusion of the spectators and even the ref who stood there befuddled! Maybe it was the nerves of facing off against Kyoko, maybe it was a reflex after having only competed in standard matches at law up to this point, or maybe it was a mix of both, but regardless, Raya hadn't realized that her attempt would be useless and wouldn't count!

“How does it feel like to lose to me after all that trash talk, huh?” Raya yelled out with a laugh, completely confident of her victory, waiting for the count that for some reason never came. Confused, she looked towards the ref who was just standing there. “What the hell are you doing, idiot? Count the pin, I've got her!”

The referee and the crowd weren't the only ones confused. As Raya got on top of Kyoko she expected her to go for some kind of choke or smother, and instead her face of pain became one of confusion as she stood there and basically acted giddy about being on top of Kyoko. The stunned Belly Queen was at first a little confused, wondering if this was some strange kink she had, but when she looked confused and then began asking the ref why the pin wasn't being counted Kyoko realized what had happened. This bitch somehow forgot the rules of the match.

"HAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Kyoko laughed from below Raya before suddenly grabbing Raya's waist. Then she would force her way out of the pin while still laughing and rolling Raya over to her back. "You stupid bitch! This is a submissions match, you can't pin me! Not that you could even if they were allowed." Kyoko said before she would pull Raya of the floor getting to her feet and then throwing Raya with a belly to belly suplex!

Raya’s face turned completely red with embarrassment when she suddenly realized the huge mistake she’d just made in front of everyone and worse in front of Kyoko who had burst out laughing and started mocking Raya while rolling her over to her back.

“Sh-shut up!” Raya squeaked and stuttered, still red-faced and trying to think of something to say to make this situation less humiliating. She had only just finally gotten her foot in the match and had even somehow managed to land a couple hits on Kyoko, only to follow it up with this moment which completely killed all momentum she had started to slowly build for herself. “Y-you just got lucky that I forgot, that’s all. If I had-agggh!”

While trying to come up with another justification of sorts, she was cut off mid sentence by Kyoko who’s interruption came in the form of a belly to belly suplex after having pulled her up to her feet sharply, leaving Raya stunned and reeling on the canvas, a sight which was starting to become a familiar one for her.
