Raya Ashberry vs Lovestar

"Hahahaha! What's wrong?" Raya mocked relentlessly as she watched Lovestar's struggling expression. "Feel free to tap out anytime!"

She then started squeezing even harder in response to her opponent's pained cries, flexing one arm as if pre emptively claiming total victory. Then, she would close her eyes as well, though in satisfaction rather than struggle, in Raya's mind victory was now totally assured and so she relaxed slightly, completely confident that there was nothing her opponent to do to claw her way out of this one. She ignored her opponents attempts to break free and reach out to the ropes, almost unaware of the threat that she could possibly break out, as now the only scenario in Raya's head was one where Lovestar either got put to sleep or had to tap out, the match was pretty much decided in her mind and so her thoughts drifted to how she would celebrate her victory post-match, and in doing so once again gave up a small opening as she unintentionally loosened her hold on Lovestar.

“NNNNGGGHHH—!!”

Lovestar's legs kicked frantically against the canvas as Raya tightened her reverse headscissors, squeezing another agonized cry from the trapped luchadora.

“A-AAAGHH! M-Mierda...!”

Her fingers desperately clawed at Raya's thighs, but the pressure around her head made it increasingly difficult to think straight. Her vision blurred as she struggled to breathe, her movements growing weaker by the second.

However, just as Lovestar feared she might have to surrender, she suddenly felt the pressure around her head loosen.

Realizing Raya had gotten careless, Lovestar immediately planted both palms against the canvas and twisted her hips sharply to one side. She tucked her chin and pulled her head downward, desperately attempting to slip free between Raya's thighs.

With one final, determined wrench—

POP!

Lovestar's head slipped out of the hold!

“HAHHH! Haaah...!”

The Puerto Rican luchadora immediately rolled away, clutching her aching neck as she desperately gulped down air. She continued rolling until she reached the ropes, grabbing the bottom cable before pulling herself onto her knees!

That had been far too close!

And judging by the irritated look in her eyes, Lovestar wasn't about to let Raya catch her like that again...

Just as Raya made herself comfortable, she suddenly felt her opponent start to struggle free. She immediately tried to clamp her legs back with full force but the damage was already done as Lovestar had wasted no time and had quickly managed to free her head and slip out of the hold before rolling away. Raya let out an angry snarl before pushing herself back up, staring at her opponent who had pulled herself back onto her feet by using the ropes and also did not look very pleased to say the least.

"You got lucky once again, don't think that means anything!" Raya spoke with ferocity as she faced Lovestar, but her words didnt mirror her actions as after seeing the irritated look that had appeared in her opponent's eyes as a result of being trapped in that reverse headscissors, Raya gulped and took a hesitant step backwards, unsure if she should press the advantage or be more cautious. Regardless of her intent though, this momentary lack of composure would then leave her standing still in that same spot, waiting for Lovestar's next move.

Lovestar slowly rose back onto her feet, rubbing her aching neck as she glared at Raya from across the ring. The playful luchadora was clearly not amused anymore, especially after nearly being squeezed into submission.

“Lucky, huh? Ay, mami... Pay close attention!”

Seeing Raya hesitate, Lovestar decided to take advantage of her momentary uncertainty. She suddenly rushed forward, closing the distance before throwing a sharp kick toward Raya's midsection!

However, the kick was merely bait!

Lovestar deliberately left her leg extended, hoping Raya would instinctively catch it. If her opponent took the bait, the Puerto Rican luchadora would immediately spring upward off her remaining foot, twisting her hips and swinging her free leg toward the side of Raya's head in an attempted Enzuigiri!

Spoiler

It was a risky maneuver, especially with her neck still aching, but Lovestar was determined to catch Raya off guard and regain control of the match!

Raya was taken slightly aback by her opponents change of attitude, but still she remained fast enough to be able to easily handle the kick Lovestar threw, and so despite her brief hesitation she managed to catch her opponents extended leg and smirked, thinking she now had the advantage while Lovestar was vulnerable.

"Ha! Is that all you-agggh!" As she started mocking her opponent again, Raya's eyes suddenly widened as the luchadora sprang off her other leg and swung it towards Raya's head catching her totally off guard, and this time the kick was too close for Raya to be able to react, and so the leg made contact with the side of her head, cutting her off mid sentence. Raya forcibly let go of Lovestar's leg and stumbled backwards, stunned and reeling, she tried to hold herself up using the ropes but she was left dazed and trying to regain her surroundings.

Lovestar quickly scrambled back onto her feet after landing the Enzuigiri, spotting Raya stumbling helplessly toward the ropes.

“¡Eso te pasa por hablar tanto, mami!”

Seeing her opportunity, Lovestar rushed forward and grabbed Raya by the head, pulling the dazed woman away from the ropes and securing her in a side headlock!

With Raya's head tucked beneath her arm, Lovestar suddenly extended her free arm and pointed dramatically toward the opposite ropes, drawing a loud cheer from the audience!

Then, keeping Raya's head firmly trapped, Lovestar took off running toward the opposite ropes!

As she approached, the luchadora attempted to spring off the top rope with one foot, using the rebound to propel herself backward while maintaining her grip on Raya's head!

If successful, Lovestar would swing herself through the air and drop onto her backside, attempting to drive Raya face-first into the canvas with a Bulldog!

"Ugh...:" Raya mumbled in pain, trying to recover when suddenly she found herself trapped in a headlock! She grunted and tried to wiggle free, but to no avail as she was still weak from Lovestar's kick to her head, and so she didn't have the strength to resist. To make matters worse, the crowd suddenly roared in a loud cheer, she didnt know exactly what was going off but assumed that her opponent was showboating while still having her trapped in this headlock.

She tried to break away but it was too late as suddenly she felt herself dragged forwards, Lovestar was finally making her move and Raya had to take it, she couldnt even tell what was coming until the moment she was hit by the move which slammed her down face first into canvas.

"Aggh!" Raya screamed in pain again, covering her face in her hands, gasping for air while still reeling from the hit.
