Heart and Gold Junior Heavyweight Championship Tournament Qualifier: Sanae Saitou vs. Chris Yukine

[CaptainL]

If Chris had been able to throw Sanae down to the mat in her already dazed state, it could well spell disaster for the green-haired idol. But Sanae had other plans - and right when Chris was about to flip her off her footing, she was able to take control, sending both women down into the mat! The whole ring shook against the sheer force of the impact, and the crowd burst into cheers a moment later at the spectacle they had just witnessed! For a moment longer, Sanae lay there in the center of the ring, catching her breath. She was still riding high off the adrenaline; her heart was racing in her chest. But she still looked up at the lights with a tired smile on her face. Any day she could win the hearts of the fans was a success in her book!

Of course, Sanae knew she couldn't stop there. She'd seen enough from Chris in this match to know it was going to take more than that to keep her down for long! But it wasn't long before Sanae found herself gripped by another surge of energy, ready to carry forward off of her efforts! She rolled back up to her feet - where she set off for the ropes again. Chris was down, which meant she was a target wide open for the idol's aerial offense! If Sanae kept up her efforts, she could keep Chris locked under control!

Grabbing hold of the ropes, Sanae pulled herself higher, getting up onto the middle rope. There, she held a fist high over her head, bellowing out a battle cry. The fans cheered along with her as she jumped backward, throwing herself off the ropes - and down onto Chris, where she extended an elbow to drill into her gut as she fell atop her with an elbow drop!
