Briefly catching the ropes made Theodora rethink her strategy and eventually let go of Haruka’s head and push against her instead. She could tell she was trying to grab and bring her into a position that was more favorable so that she could maintain control. So to stop this Haruka would push into Theodora with a quick burst to try and combat her efforts and the would pull her arms around her hips to quickly lift and slam her before she tried anything.

Pushing against Haruka, Theodora tried to come up with a move, but then, Haruka went on to wrap her arms around her hips before she lifted her up and slammed her down onto the mat. "Nghh!!" She winced as she hit the canvas. Still, she wouldn't allow herself to be left vulnerable before her opponent as she would roll onto her knees.

Grimacing slightly, Theodora would push herself up. For the time being, she was in a defensive position, and there wasn't much she could do if Haruka decided to continue with her onslaught.

That slam was done for creating separation and giving her a chance to put a determined Theodora down. She would give her a short retreat that Haruka would end soon when she would use this moment to pounce at the her. Her arm would snake up under Theodora’s to hook her in a half then her other arm came in to hold her waist close. She would lift Theodora in the air again and drop her on the side she had a half Nelson on to damage that side before she’d the pull on the half even more while booking the waist and pushing Theodora’s shoulders down for a short pin while she had her trapped. Keeping the arm and forcing her to fight to break a pin.
