Meeting #1: The One Who Sees Everything

The night was eerily quiet; the L.A.W. corridors, which are usually filled with rowdy, unruly wrestlers, were now empty. Not a single soul was to be seen at this late hour; quite possibly, following the numerous signs and warnings from the company’s security team, a threat was roaming the league’s corridors, wreaking havoc. Fewer people would dare to venture out alone tonight.

This threat, clad in black armour, wreaked havoc wherever it went within the federation, leaving a trail of chaos in its wake. Over the past few weeks, the creature had devoted itself to observing the gladiators here from the shadows, watching the horrific acts they committed against one another. The knight was disgusted just by watching them act, but the crusader did so to learn everything about them and, more importantly, how to defeat them.

Now they were hidden in the shadows, as if they were an immovable object. Waiting for some unsuspecting fighter, an accomplice and participant in all the horrific acts committed by the company, all that debauchery that had found its price to pay in the form of the intruder, who had seen enough and would now take action, beginning their attack on those sinners they encountered whilst prowling to deliver their message

With the gym being the place where this chain of consequences would begin, hidden from plain sight, it waits for someone to be the first to receive the Knight’s message: that no one is safe from the beast and that everyone will have to pay the price for freedom without any cost or responsibility.

Payton probably hadn't worked out as much as she could have when she got to LAW. She'd like to say that it was because she didn't need it, but it would have been closer to the truth to say she wasn't particularly motivated to do it. She came to this league expecting that if nothing else that people would come to know here name. But that didn't happen.


Instead, the truth was that all this time she was at best a low carder amongst a sea of other low carders. Which was disappointing, to say the least, for someone like her. But stil, every now and then she'd work up the motivation to go to the gym anyway and if nothing else the frequency was enough to keep up at least appearances with her Physique. At the moment, though, she wasn't at any equipment just sitting on a bench, taking a water break.
