Angela fights like someone who learned to brawl long before she learned to wrestle. What began as the rough-and-tumble violence of a street kid eventually developed into a highly effective combination of brutal brawling, grappling, and submission wrestling. She is more than willing to throw heavy strikes and nasty slams, but her real strength lies in what happens once she gets her hands on an opponent and starts looking for a way to make them quit.
A highly accomplished submission wrestler, Angela is particularly dangerous in transitions. She can turn a scramble into a Kimura, a failed escape into a headscissor, or a moment of hesitation into one of her numerous punishing holds. She rarely settles for a single submission either, constantly adjusting her position and moving from one hold into another until she finds something that works. Oppressing, harassing, downright cruel is her in-ring philosophy.
That doesn't mean Angela is content to wrestle cleanly. Far from it. She is an unapologetic dirty fighter, perfectly willing to bite, claw, kick, headbutt, gouge, or take a cheap shot when the opportunity presents itself. She'll use the ropes, attack an injured limb, retreat from a fight to create an opening, or even bring a weapon into the equation when the rules…or lack thereof, allow it. Angela doesn't see these tactics as beneath her. If it hurts and it works, then it's fair game.
Her brawling also gives her a strong physical presence. Angela is powerful enough to throw opponents around with suplexes, powerslams, and powerbombs, while being remarkably durable herself. She can absorb a frightening amount of punishment and keep coming, making her particularly dangerous in drawn-out fights where her opponent begins to tire.
Angela's style is ultimately about breaking an opponent down piece by piece. She'll batter them until they are hurt, grab whatever limb presents itself, and then refuse to let go. The longer the match goes, the more opportunities she has to find a weakness and exploit it.She doesn't care about winning beautifully. She doesn't care about proving herself the better athlete. Angela wants her opponent beaten, broken, and eventually forced to surrender.

BIOGRAPHY
History
Born in Paris, Angela grew up in one of the city’s rougher districts, where trouble was often easier to find than opportunity. Her family offered little stability. Her mother eventually abandoned the family for a wealthy German business man whom she’d managed to sink her talons into, while her father buried himself in his pathetic low paying job to forget about his own misery…and gradually stopped trying to keep up with his increasingly troublesome daughter.
Left largely to raise herself, Angela spent more time on the streets than at home. By the age of thirteen, she was already a familiar face to local shopkeepers and police officers alike. Petty theft, vandalism, fighting, trespassing, and the occasional run-in with the law became a normal part of life. The punishment never seemed to stick. If anything, Angela treated them as little more than inconveniences.
Around this time, she became acquainted with Marcel “le chein” Fournier, an aging mechanic and former street racer known throughout the neighbourhood for his criminal connections as much as his repair work. Angela began spending time around his garage, initially because it was somewhere she could escape (from home, but also if she needed to lay low from the law for a few hours or days), but eventually because she found herself fascinated by cars, the people and the shady business that passed through the place.
Marcel never exactly became a father figure. She honestly never got why he looked out for her, or even taught her anything. She never really bothered to ask…He taught her how to work on engines, repair cars and how to look after herself. More importantly he taught her a lesson that would stick with her for the rest of her life. “Never work for free.”
As Angela grew older her crimes became more serious. What began as petty theft gradually turned into intimidation, debt collection, smuggling, vandalism, and acting as muscle for various local criminals. She wasn’t a major mover or shaker in the criminal underworld but she was certainly becoming a useful asset. Angela was young, fearless and willing to do things other people weren’t.
Her fascination with cars only deepened. Marcel introduced her to the world of illegal street racing, where bookmakers, mechanics, thieves, and adrenaline junkies all mixed together. Angela quickly found herself at home among them. She raced for money, collected debts for racers who couldn’t collect them themselves., and occasionally helped move stolen parts or vehicles. She loved the speed almost as much as she loved fighting.
By sixteen, Angela’s growing reputation eventually brought her to the attention of a former boxer known only as The Baker, a man who organized underground fights and betting circuits throughout the area. Seeing potential in the violent teenager, he offered her a chance to make money with her fists. Living by the words of Marcel, she wouldn’t work for free, and she had been fighting people for free all her life…it was about time she got paid for it.
For the next year she fought in warehouses, basements, garages and anywhere else people were willing to place bets. She wasn’t the most skilled at first, but she was tough, fearless and unusually comfortable with inflicting the most amount of pain possible on people. More importantly, she enjoyed it. The underground fighting scene taught her how to survive against opponents of all sizes, how to fight through pain, and how to keep going long after most people would have quit.
By the age of seventeen, Angela’s reputation extended far beyond her neighbourhood. She wasn’t feared because she was the strongest person around. She was feared because she was dangerous, she genuinely seemed to enjoy violence in a way that unsettled most people. That coupled with her growing renown as a fighter, those improving skills made her feared.
It was around this time that she happened upon a man being assaulted by four muggers. When he begged for help, Angela’s response was simple: “For free? Fuck that!”
Though, to her surprise, he offered to pay her. Angela beat the four men senseless, collected her money and fully intended to leave it at that. Instead…the man showed up at her doorstep the following day with a proposition. He was involved in professional wrestling and believed Angela had the potential to become a star. She told him exactly what he could do with that idea then slammed the door in his face. He returned the next day, and the day after that….It wasn’t until he added on that crucial detail, that she would get paid during training and each match.
Years of street violence and underground fighting had given Angela a solid foundation that most trainees lacked. Her style was brutal, and she was cruel in the ring. The only thing she could say for sure that she picked up from the training was an astounding improvement to her ground game, and learning a fair few slams and throws. She made progress at an astonishing pace. After only a few months she was already competing, quickly establishing herself as one of the most dangerous and feared heels in the French wrestling scene.
Within a year she had climbed to the top of French Combat Wrestling (FCW). Her brutal style, willingness to fight dirty and terrifying submission game made her one of the promotion’s most dominant competitors. More than one promising wrestler saw their career derailed after crossing paths with Angela. With little left to prove in France, she eventually turned her attention abroad.
During a cross-promotional event, Angela met Sarah Luther, a woman she instantly despised. The feeling was mutual. What began as a simple rivalry quickly spiraled into an all-consuming feud. The two women invaded each other’s shows, interrupted matches, started backstage brawls and occasionally came to blows outside the arena entirely.
For years, neither woman could truly claim victory over the other. Eventually, both were signed by the same American promotion, where management made the questionable decision to place them in a tag team together. Neither of them were happy about this.
What followed was constant arguing, fighting and mutual threats of bodily harm. Yet despite their hatred, they kept winning. Again and again, the pair discovered their personalities meshed surprisingly well inside the ring. They were both vicious, stubborn and more than willing to bend the rules whenever necessary. Their rivalry never truly died, but over time became something even stranger. A functional dysfunctional partnership. Eventually, their contracts were purchased by LAW, bringing the pair to Japan once again. For Angela, it was simply another opportunity. A new company, new opponents, a whole new roster of people waiting to be broken.
Personality
Angela is an aggressive alley cat given human form. Tough, vicious, and fiercely independent, she has little interest in earning anyone's approval. Get too close and she'll bite. Push her too far and she'll scratch. Threaten her and she'll simply beat the hell out of you.
Growing up on the streets taught Angela that nobody gives you anything for free. As a result, she views the world through a deeply transactional lens. Respect is earned, favours have a price, and kindness is usually just someone wanting something. She trusts very few people and has little patience for those who expect sympathy simply because they ask for it.
Cruel, confrontational, and often deliberately unpleasant, Angela enjoys getting under people's skin almost as much as she enjoys winning. She doesn't particularly care about wrestling itself…what she loves is proving that she’s tougher, meaner, harder to break than the person standing across from her. It’s a way for her to act out that cruelty that has festered within her like a disease that can no longer be cured. Humiliating arrogant, privileged or overtly confident opponents, or those preppy, holier-than-thou types…hell even pure little lambs to the squared circle. All are nearly equally satisfying prey for the Nightmare.
Fighting is where Angela feels most comfortable. She’ll fight for competition, revenge, entertainment or simply because someone paid her to do it. Money isn’t even strictly necessary…cigarettes, alcohol, favours or anything else she finds worthwhile can often buy her services (it’s most often just an excuse to do something she would have for free…for payment). To Angela, violence is just another language. One she is exceptionally fluent in.
Angela doesn’t trust easily, but she does respect a certain few people…who have proven themselves. She has little interest in friendship for friendship’s sake, but she can form surprisingly strong bonds with people who have earned their place beside her. Her relationship with Sarah is perhaps the clearest example of that. The two can argue, insult each other…hell even beat the shit out of one another, yet neither would willingly let an outside take advantage of the other.
Outside of the ring Angela indulges in every bad habit she can reasonably get away with. She smokes, drinks, cusses like crazy, and she has a particular obsession with fast cars. Few things make her happier than tearing through the streets late at night like a bat out of hell, the engine roaring loud enough to drown out the rest of the world. She has a deep disdain for the law, police and that whole spectrum of “good guys”. She even upholds a fair few connections to the criminal underworld, and has made connections in France, Great Britain, The USA and now Japan.
Angela is also shameless about using her sexuality when it benefits her. She has little interest in maintaining a respectable image and takes just as much pleasure making someone uncomfortable as she does in beating them down. For Angela, there is very little distinction between violence, humiliation, and pleasure. All three are simply different ways of reminding people who’s in control.
