Raya Ashberry vs Lovestar

As Raya groaned in a daze, she heard Lovestar taunting her, she gritted her teeth, unable to get a response out as her face flushed bright red, she was being completely toyed with by her opponent! Then, she'd watch in horror as the other woman would charge forward with a running dropkick aimed straight at her chest!

"Aggh!" Raya screamed in pain as Lovestar's dropkick connected and sent her flying out of the ring!

As she laid on her back on the cold arena floor, she heard the ref start counting her out! She groaned on pain and struggled to get up.

"D-damn it..." Raya muttered in frustration, as she had started off badly, but at least now she had time to collect herself and turn things around, as Lovestar's dropkick might have turned out to be a blessing in disguise. She managed to stand and would wait for the ref's count to reach seven, giving herself time to breathe, and once she did she'd quickly climb back into the ring, although she hoped that Lovestar wouldn't follow her out of the ring and follow up her onslaught during that time either!

Lovestar grinned as Raya remained outside recovering.

"Need a break already?"

She leaned against the ropes, blowing a teasing kiss while the referee counted. But despite the taunts, her eyes never left Raya.

The moment Raya climbed onto the apron at the count of seven, Lovestar burst into motion.

"¡Ahora!"

She sprinted forward and attempted to snap a fast roundhouse kick into the side of Raya's head just as she was stepping through the ropes!

"Sh-shut up!" Raya's face turned red as she watched Lovestar blow her a taunting kiss. "And...I don't need a break either, it's a tactical setback!"

She then climbed back into the ropes while fuming in humiliation, but was suddenly met with a roundhouse kick from Lovestar!

"Hnngh!" Raya grunted as the kick connected right into her face as she hadn't expected it at all, she nearly tumbled back down but managed to hang on to the ropes but still fell to her knees while stunned and reeling, her vision in a daze as she was now completely helpless at the mercy of her opponent!

Still reeling from the kick, Raya barely clung to the middle rope before a hand grasped the back of her head.

Lovestar pulled her fully through the ropes and back into the ring, keeping hold of her as Raya stumbled helplessly into her grasp.

Without hesitation, Lovestar slipped an arm around Raya's head, trapping it beneath her arm in a tight reverse facelock. She planted her feet firmly, pausing for just a heartbeat...

Then, with a sharp snap backward, Lovestar dropped to the canvas, driving Raya down with a Reverse DDT that spiked the back of her head and shoulders into the mat!

"Urgh!" Raya grunted in pain as her opponent drove her down with a reverse DDT, she rolled over to the side instinctively while grabbing her head in pain. "Y-you'll pay for this!"

She struggled for a bit but eventually stumbled back onto her feet furiously, and would wait for Lovestar to get back up as well, and the moment she did then Raya would charge at her with her shoulders low, intending to ram them into Lovestar's gut in a powerful spear, as so far she had taken all the brunt of her opponent's attacks but Lovestar seemed unscathed, and so she needed something quick and powerful to turn the tides of the match if she didn't want to lose without even putting up a fight!

Lovestar pushed herself back onto her feet after the Reverse DDT, expecting Raya to remain down a little longer. Instead, she turned around to find her opponent already charging straight toward her.

Lovestar's eyes widened.

She instinctively tried to sidestep at the last possible second, twisting her body away while reaching down toward Raya's shoulders in an attempt to redirect her momentum.

But Raya was coming in fast, and Lovestar had only noticed her at the last moment. If her evasive attempt failed, there would be nothing stopping Raya from driving straight through her with the spear and finally bringing Lovestar's momentum to a halt!

As Raya charged in, she saw her opponent try to dodge at the last second and try to redirect her, but it didn't work as Raya successfully drove right into her with the spear and sent her crashing onto the canvas.

"Heh, what was it you were saying, that I needed a break? Looks like I should be the one asking you that!" Ray would say mockingly, before then getting up to try and take advantage of the hit to keep chaining moves, she'd stand up and climb onto the top ropes, then jump off and try to slam down into Lovestar with a flying knee drop, hoping that her opponent was too dazed by the spear to be able to dodge this!

The spear folded Lovestar around Raya before sending her crashing hard onto her back. Her hands immediately clutched her stomach, boots kicking against the canvas as she desperately tried to suck air back into her lungs.
Still completely winded, Lovestar could only watch through half-lidded eyes as Raya climbed the turnbuckle.

Raya launched—

THUD!

Her knee came crashing directly into Lovestar's midsection!

Lovestar's entire body jolted from the impact, mouth falling open in a silent gasp as whatever little air she'd managed to recover was violently knocked right back out of her. She curled onto her side afterward, hugging her battered stomach while wheezing helplessly on the canvas.

As her knee drop succesfully connected, Raya watched with a smirk as Lovestar curled up and wheezed helplessly on the canvas. She stood up and towered over her opponent while crossing her arms, then started taunting her.

"Come on, where's all that talk gone? I thought you were enjoying yourself!" She said mockingly, before moving to grab Lovestar and pull her back onto her feet, only to try and hit her with a DDT of her own!

Lovestar was still struggling to catch her breath when Raya grabbed hold of her and hauled her back onto shaky legs.

Before the luchadora could mount any resistance, Raya tucked her head underneath her arm and suddenly dropped

THUD!

Lovestar's head was driven hard into the canvas with the DDT, leaving her sprawled out from the impact.

“U-Ughh...!”

Her legs shifted weakly against the mat as she writhed in a daze, one hand clutching her head while the other rested limply beside her. The playful, energetic Lovestar from earlier was nowhere to be seen now, completely stunned after Raya's sudden comeback!
