Unbeknownst to Elie or practically anyone within Lloyd's close circle of friends, he'd wasn't lying when he alluded to having spent several wakeless nights burning the midnight oil in an attempt to formulate a cogent method of countering Yin's masterful usage of anonymity to slink into the shadows. Forever evading justice and accountability for her felonious crimes as an untouchable outlaw. Unfortunately, the only fruits of Lloyd's brainstorming efforts were the crumpled up papers bearing his crossed out ideas now strewn around his overflowing waste basket and the sympathetic cuddles of his cat once he'd given up for the night. And yet the plucky cadet outright refused to believe there wasn't a viable solution to this conundrum...little did he know that he'd become thunderstruck with pure inspiration far away from his office desk and instead within a polite discourse with a beautiful partner whilst walking across a sun-drenched beach. Whether it was needing to remove himself from his studious confines or Elie's friendly banter, Lloyd had no qualms with giving his silver-haired companion all of the credit as he joyously swirled the pairing around in jubilant celebration, drawing the baffled attention of curious onlookers earnestly wondering if a marriage proposal has just taken place...

Lloyd was absolutely convinced he'd found the perfect solution, already envisioning the steps necessary in making his plan work and acknowledging the inherent risks involved with-"Huh?..." Lloyd balked from having his thought processes abruptly curtailed by Elie's question, gawking down at her emerald iris and rosen complexion now forming on the detective's own facials once noticing the romantic embrace he'd started and heavenly warmth with pillowed softness inherent with cradling the politicians daughter so close to his rigged physique. "OH!!! Oh I am SO SORRY, ELIE!!! That was just, I uh, dyuh, got carried away with...MAINTAINING OUR COVER STORY...Yeah that's it, haha..." Lloyd backpedaled a step with jabbered apologies and flummoxed facials, feverishly scratching the back of his head but incapable of forgetting how pleasant it was being in such close proximity to his beauteous partner. "...*sigh*...Man, it feels like I'm back to square one when it comes to convincing you I'm not a perverted degenerate. But I really am sorry, and I promise that won't happen again. Thankfully we're pretty close to the LAW section of the beach, so let's just hope that I can keep from embarrassing myself again before we get there..." Lloyd joked as he offered with a wafting hand wave to continue walking side by side until reaching their sun-bathed destination.

Elie wasn't doubting her work partner when he confessed to having constant sleepless nights over his prior match with Yin. However, was he being truthful in his story about devising a plan to try and counter her machinations? Had Lloyd been reminsciencing to videos of the moment, perhaps with a box of tissues? Or even a combination of the two? She certainly knew her fair share of male colleagues who would have opted for the second choice. But maybe Lloyd was different, given his behaviour so far. Although now he was certainly getting carried away in the moment, picking up and swinging Elie around in the air as if they were a lovey dovey couple who had just agreed to marry each other.......w-wait,, that wasn't the case at all!! They'd only just met! They weren't even going out yet! Yet? Oh. Oh no. The girl could only blush with embarrassment as her breasts swelled against Lloyd's sleek torso, silently enjoying the feel of the detective's toned abs pressing against her. Even so, beachgoers were beginning to stare at the pair and she wasn't sure how much longer she could remain in the handsome male's arms without melting right into him.

Lloyd's innocent nature showed itself as he gaped down at the shy girl, only seemingly just registering how intimate a position they were in. A flustered and loud apology quickly followed, babbled out of his lips as he released her. It was honestly adorable seeing him panic in that moment, although her body still felt heated from the flare of being pressed up against the muscular detective. If she was going to get burned today, it certainly wouldn't be due to the sun hanging overhead. His booming voice coming dangerously close to blowing their cover, in such a specific denial, caused the meek girl's blunt stare to return. "Um, Lloyd...people aren't meant to know we have a cover story." She reminded him with a flat look. "And the thought of you being a perverted degenerate did not enter my head whatsoever...until just now when you specifically denied it." Giving him the suspicious eye, before making an exasperated sigh. "But I accept your apology, and we do have a match to attend, so perhaps we'd best make trails to the ring." Accepting Lloyd's gestured hand, Elie felt her palm and face heat up, the sun once again not the culprit. "Just remember Lloyd...nothing in our assignment mentioned anything about me losing the match." A rare, mischievous smile rose on the silver haired girl's face while the pair began to walk hand in hand across the sand.
