A Matter of Honour: Homura Kōgetsu vs Kyo Akamatsu

The crowd winced as Kyo hit Homura with that brutal forearm chop, sending the bluenette tumbling down to the mat. It was clear so far in this match that Kyo was well-matched by his opponent. What was also clear, though, was that tonight Kyo clearly wasn't holding back: tonight his usual gentlemanly honor was taking a back seat. Though not that many people in the audience knew the cause of their feud, it was plain to see there was no love lost between them.

Seeing Homura crawling on her front, Kyo decided to continue to punish his opponent while she was down. Pressing a boot against her back to force her upper body down, Kyo moved to sit on Homura's back, grabbing for one of her boots to pull her leg back under his arm in a Boston crab!

"So," he breathed as he locked in the hold, "it seems that superiority you were going on about is nothing but hot air..."

Homura was enraged while crawling towards the ropes. It was an undignified look for her for sure, being on all fours while forcing to retreat like that. She had her teeth gritted in anger and frustration, knowing full well that Kyo would have a smug look on his face for accomplishing this. Still, he may have one upper her temporarily, but the war was not over. While she got closer and closer, she suddenly felt Kyo's boot smack against her back. "Gugh" she grunted while she was forced down onto her belly. "Impossible" she cursed before he grabbed one of her boots and sat on the small of her back, pulling her leg back for a single legged Boston Crab.

"AHHHHHH" Homura howled in agony. She shook her head while the referee asked if she wanted to submit. The proud Japanese woman would press her palms against the mat and do a push up, elevating herself off the mat while using her free leg to slowly push the pair forward towards the ropes. She chuckled through pain stricken grunts upon hearing him taunt her.

"Hehe, so you finally found your voice huh?" Homura said, clearly in pain. The bluenette continued to crawl to the ropes, stretching her arm as much as she could at the last stretch to try and grab the bottom ropes to earn herself a rope break.

Kyo was not one for trash talk: usually, he felt it beneath him, and beneath the dignity of the wrestling ring. With all of that being said...Homura's arrogance, and her incessant insults towards him were enough that he felt that he could safely make an exception for her. The bluenette had already shown how little she actually valued honour and how much she wanted to win at any cost, so Kyo allowed himself to throw her own words back at her.

As he sat against Homura's back, he leaned back, stretching her leg back and tucking the limb under his armpit. He was rewarded by Homura's cry of pain as she crawled and thrashed underneath him. He felt her slowly but surely drag them towards the ropes; in response, he leaned back further, stretching further and further at her leg, testing Homura's flexibility and forcing her to move with Kyo's weight on her back.

Finally, the ref signaled for Kyo to let go, as Homura had grabbed the bottom ropes. Taking a deep breath, Kyo released Homura. He wasn't about to give her a wide enough berth to recover, however: grabbing at her arm, he pulled her up to her feet, pulling her away from the ropes.

"I simply didn't have any words to spare for you," he replied coldly, before trying to slide one leg around Homura's and trap one of her arms under her armpit. If he managed that, then he would try to stretch the tall bluenette sideways in an abdominal stretch, hoping to wring a submission out of her...unless that was, she managed to counter or escape...

To Homura, this wrestling match was entirely about honor and hard work. That anyone could achieve being the top wrestler if they worked hard for it, and not because their last name was associated with the wrestling greats of the past. She may be arrogant, but in her mind she deserved to be because of how good she was in the ring and the work she put into it. For now though, Kyo was really putting her through the wringer as he tortured her in the Boston Crab submission, until she would crawl and scratch her way towards the ring ropes.

Homura grinned, masking the pain she felt in her back while Kyo would let go. The rest was brief though, as he would quickly grab her arm and pull her up to her feet first, before dragging her away from the ropes back to the middle of the ring. "Urgh....Hai, and now you do eh? Tch! At least be honoest with yourself Kyo-san" she hissed as he hooked his leg around hers while trapping one arm under her armpit to stretch her sideways in a painful abdominal stretch hold. "Arghhh...AHHHHHH" she moaned out loud, feeling the burn in her abdomen while the male put the stretch on her.

She continued to shake her head, refusing to give up. Homura began to twist her turn her body, she tightened her fist and with her free arm would swing her arm backwards towards the side of Kyo's head, looking to deliver a nasty elbow strike to stun him. If her plan worked, she would do it one more time for good measure before hoping to spin out of the submission and face him before jumping up and attempting a step up enziguiri kick to the side of his head!

Kyo was relentless as he quickly transitioned from one submission hold to another, locking Homura in a brutal abdominal stretch. The crowd watched as the bluenette was stretched painfully, the move testing her flexibility and putting her finely toned abdomen and powerful thighs on full display as Kyo bent her sideways. So far in this match, neither wrestler was giving or taking any quarter, and the audience had an impression neither would be stopping any time soon.

Kyo clenched his teeth, both from the effort he was pouring into the hold as well as from Homura's goading. "If I have any words to spare for you," he growled, "it is these: apologize now for how you insulted my family, and apologize for cheating at kendo. You are not going to--"

He probably should have been keeping an eye on Homura's free arm, as suddenly her fist came whistling up, slamming against his cheek! "UGH!" he grunted, the blow knocking his head to the side, causing him to release Homura as he stumbled back. He shook his head and turned back to his foe...just as one boot planted against his chest, and another came swinging hard into the side of his head! Stars exploded across his vision, and he collapsed onto his side, clutching his head, rolling dizzily as he was floored by Homura's kick...

Despite being caught in a rather painful submission move, Homura tried to remain calm as humanly possible while her abdomen was being stretched to its limit. The bluenette tried to keep a poker face for as long as she could but sooner or later the pain stricken moans from her lips escaped and her facial expressions clearly indicated that she was suffering in the submission. Of course, the bluenette would not simply stand idly by and suffer this indignation and would start to swing her elbow back towards her opponent's head. After two cleanly hit strikes, Homura managed to spin free and turn around to face Kyo and immediately hit him with a step up enziguiri kick!

Both wrestlers fell to the side but Kyo certainly came off worse from that. Homura would slowly push up onto her knees, brushing her luscious blue hair back while panting heavily. "Tch" she spat angrily as she reminded herself of the words that he spoke moments ago. "Apologize?! Don't make me laugh Kyo-san. I'd rather die than to ever apologize to people like you...." she cursed, clearly getting worked up over this. Homura would soon get back up on her feet and approach the downed male, stomping her boot down on his sides for good measures.

"I can't believe you would even insult me by even suggesting that I do....." she said with a cruel smirk on her face while she reached down to grab his hair and pull him back up to his feet. Homura would then reach down to grab his thigh with one arm and his chin with the other, looking to hoist him up over her shoulder in a torture rack position. However, instead of a torture rack submission, she would squat forward with one knee bent and then bring Kyo down, back first on that knee for a painful backbreaker slam!

Not done yet, she kept him on his back on her knee, gripping his chin and his thigh to further bend his back against that knee in a backbreaker submission!

"Giveh uppu. Before I break you...." she said.

Kyo's world was spinning now after taking the full force of Homura's enziguri kick to the head. Groaning, he groped against the mat and crawled, trying to get his bearings straight. Sharp pain in his side brought him back to reality as Homura's boot came stomping down on his side; crying out, he rolled sideways, clutching his ribs, wheezing from the impact, trying to put some distance between himself and the bluenette that towered over him...

Homura was not about to let him get away that easily. Kyo was yanked up, first by his hair, then as he felt Homura actually grabbing his thighs. He gave a short gasp of surprise as Homura lifted him off his feet, and in a few seconds, he was arched over her shoulder...before she brought him down again across her outstretched knee in a backbreaker.

"AAAAuuugh...." Spittle flew out of Kyo's mouth as he felt something inside crack from the terrible impact. He did not even have the reprieve of rolling off of Homura's knee, though, as the bluenette kept pressing down on his chin and knee. The sharp pain in his back turned into a raging flood of agony as he was bent across Homura's knee, his body shining with sweat as Homura worked him over. Around them, the fans going wild, many of them screaming for Kyo to find a way out. Somewhere in that crowd, Makie was screaming with them, urging her brother to escape...

It was time for Homura to kick it up a notch. Kyo had been mildly competent in this match, to the point that Homura was starting to get a bit annoyed at his petulant resistance. She had to put this arrogant nepo baby in his place and for that, she really had to show him what she could do. After catching him off guard with a surprise enziguiri kick, Homura would shock everyone by grabbing her male opponent and lifting him up over her shoulders. She grinned while hoisting him up, sweat dripping off her body onto the mat while her face flushed red in effort as she panted heavily.

Heaving and groaning in effort, the bluenette soon dropped her rival on her extended knee for a backbreaker and then continued the torture in a backbreaker submission. Homura would grip his chin and thigh as tightly as she could, pushing him downwards while forcing her knee up against the small of his back to literally and figuratively try to break him in half!

Homura gritted her teeth, she tried to hold on and do as much damage as she could in this extremely painful submission move. "Ghivee uphuu Kyo-san. You cannot ever hope to defeat me. It is pointless to even try...." she mocked him in a cold and unforgiving tone.

Two things were becoming readily apparent in this match. The first was that Homura had strength and skill in equal measure, as she had been able to fold Kyo up neatly like origami. The second was that Homura had an appetite for dispensing pain upon her male opponent-- a fact that became extremely obvious as she bent Kyo over her outstretched knee.

"Ahhh...aaagh..." Kyo panted, his body starting to shine with sweat as Homura worked him over. His back felt like it was starting to buckle and crack under the sheer pressure of the hold, and he knew that if he didn't escape soon, then even if he wasn't forced to tap, he would still be in a bad state for the rest of the match. He grabbed for Homura's wrists, trying to paw his way free...and then shifted his weight, trying to kick one of his legs back! Hopefully, his knee would connect with the side of Homura's head, and hopefully it would be enough to make her let go of him...

If Kyo wasn't aware of it before, he sure would be now. The bluenette was not here to play games, her crusade to put these legacy wrestlers to shame was not just a gimmick that defined her persona. No, this was truly how she felt about LAW and the wrestling business in general. Although she would much rather be wrestling for championship and glory, until that day came, she would continue and embarrass those who thought they were entitled to such opportunities just by name alone.

Homura smirked, enjoying the screams coming out of Kyo's mouth while she tortured him in the submission. His muscled body writhing on top of her knee as sweat dripped from his body onto the canvas. She could feel his spine against her knee while she crushed his back, bending him in such a way that could only be described as "Extremely painful". Despite all of that though, Kyo would not submit. The male would start to fight back, grabbing her wrist and pawing at them while kicking his free leg up to try and strike her head.

"Hmph...its useless" she said, easily dodging his kick attempt while her grip remained steadfast. After a while though, she would let him go herself and push him off her knee to force him onto his side on the canvas. "Do not consider that mercy or pity, Kyo-san" she said, rising back up to her feet while walking towards him. "No, you are undeserving of both those things" she said, placing her hands on her hips while hunching forward. Homura would place her right boot against his cheek, grinding and smearing her boot against his cheek to force his face to be pressed against the mats in a disrespectful manner.

"Know your place....under MY foot.....and give up" she spat.
