Noelle had been careful to ensure that her sweeping attack would not leave her legs vulnerable. But Miyaka didn't go for her legs. She went over the princess's legs and went for her upper body, grabbing Noelle by her wrists and burying a knee into her back. "Agh!" Noelle cried out as she was again flattened against the floor of the ring.

"Hrrrngh!" Noelle groaned as her arm was twisted into a Hammerlock. The princess was pissed, Miyaka was playing with her. This girl had been a pro for all of three minutes, for all of two holds, and she already was acting like she was some unstoppable monster who could do whatever she wanted. Well, Noelle was going to prove that she wasn't. As Miyaka backed off, Noelle would kick her opponent's legs out from under her and knock her down.

Miyaka barely reacted as Noelle lashed out with a low kick, though this time she didn't avoid it completely. The sweep clipped her legs just enough to knock her onto one knee, and for the first time, the smug grin slipped from her face. She let out a quiet grunt, planting one hand on the mat as if the attack had finally created an opening.

For a brief moment, Miyaka stayed there, head lowered, giving Noelle every reason to believe she'd finally turned the tide. Then, without looking up, a faint smile returned to Miyaka's lips. She slowly rose back to her feet, brushing a strand of hair from her face before extending a hand in a taunting "come on" gesture. "Better," she said coolly. "You almost made me think that one mattered." Her stance remained relaxed, almost inviting Noelle to rush in, as though she'd deliberately given the princess just enough confidence to attack again.

Noelle's kick landed, dropping Miyaka to one knee and finally giving the Spaniard the chance to build up some momentum. And yet, the executioner continued to act like she was a manga villain, seemingly caring more about trying to aura farm than actually fighting. Well, Noelle was going to make Miyaka care about actually fighting. If the rookie thought Noelle was going to just stay laying down while she did her bit, then Miyaka was sorely mistaken.

While Miyaka was still on a knee, before she had the chance to slowly stand or start taunting again, Noelle would lunge for her other leg. Trying to drive her shoulder into it, wrap her arms around it, and pull Miyaka down to the mat completely. If she succeeded, Noelle would then take the leg she already had wrapped up, and yank it back above Miyaka's body in a Single Leg Boston Crab.

As Noelle lunged for Miyaka's standing leg, Miyaka reacted instantly. She threw her hips back into a hard sprawl, driving her weight down onto Noelle's shoulders and neck before the tackle could take her off her feet. The impact stalled the shot completely. In one smooth motion, Miyaka circled behind, trapping Noelle's waist before hooking one of her arms under the princess's chin and forcing her flat against the canvas.

Without wasting the opening, Miyaka slid her legs around Noelle's trapped arm and neck, locking in a tight grounded arm-triangle choke. She squeezed relentlessly, using her hips to keep Noelle pinned while gradually tightening the hold, forcing every breath to become more difficult than the last. Leaning close with a cold smile, Miyaka whispered, "You keep reaching for my legs... and you keep giving me your neck." She cinched the submission even tighter, daring Noelle to find another escape.

Noelle hated listening to Miyaka talk. But she hated even more how unable she was to shut her up. The rookie wrestler reacted like she could read Noelle's mind, or that she could pause like a video game whenever something in order to counter. Somehow, Miyaka kept responding faster than what should have been possible. Noelle hadn't given her neck in the sense that Miyaka shouldn't have been able to get to it before the princess could do something about it. And yet Miyaka did.

However, because Noelle was so keen on making Miyaka shut up, her notice was particularly keen on a method to make her do so. When Miyaka leaned in to whisper at Noelle, the Spaniard shot her free hand forward, aiming to catch the Chinese wrestler by the throat. If Noelle caught her, she would dig her thumb's second knuckle into Miyaka's windpipe as she strangled her.
