Carrying her dear, drunk friend and placing her on the most comfortable little stools, Jennifer would try to comfort her by offering her a glass of water.
"My apologies, hahaha. The truth is, this drink is pretty good at knocking people out. For example, I still can't handle not all , haha."
Would say Jennifer, while helping Sari get settled, the drink should have those nice memories, which would involuntarily make Jennifer go straight and hug Sari tightly. She was probably moving her brain while remembering someone else...

Re: The best thing after a workout!
Sari could barely stay upright in her chair because of the alcohol; it was obvious that her body was swaying and that she could barely manage to stay seated. Jeni started apologizing to her, but it wasn’t as if the blonde was upset at that moment, given how drunk she was, and she was trying to regain some clarity with a sip of water.
Her friend quickly hugged her tightly, a gesture Sari didn’t hesitate to return, though with less force. At that moment, Jennifer called her “Katsumi,” mistaking her for her old friend. Or maybe it was just the last straw with all these unresolved issues. “I miss someone, too… Why did she leave?” Sari said, thinking of the person who had supported her most in her career as an extreme athlete: her mother.

Re: The best thing after a workout!
“She... She's not with us anymore... I got her into that,”
Jennifer would say, feeling much more emotional because of the alcohol, and that moment with Sari would make Jennifer feel as if it were just another one of those lovely get-togethers they used to have in the past. Jennifer would hug her for a while, until she realized what she was doing; then, pulling away slightly and looking a little embarrassed, she would say,
“I’m sorry… A good drink makes me like this… Hey, you… Do you have someone you miss, too?”

Despite how surprising that hug was, Sari accepted it and hugged her back; it felt warm and comforting, even a bit nostalgic, you might say. That was until Jenni realized what she was doing and cut the moment short, pulling away from the new girl while both were still under the influence of alcohol.
Jenni started to apologize to her, but the blonde said, “I understand… I know you miss her and that she’s not with us anymore,” sympathizing with what her friend was going through. Then her drinking buddy asked her if she missed anyone. “Yes… she was the person who supported me the most, no matter what. She gave me her blessing despite all the crazy things I did… Mom, I still miss you,” she said as a few tears rolled down her cheeks.
