Elise could see and feel her advancing towards the ropes. Regardless, she refused to break the hold until she was forced to.

Elise was refusing to break the hold, but Lucy could see the ropes inching ever closer with each push forward. After what seemed like an eternity, Lucy finally reached the rope and took a firm hold of it bringing the ref in to get Elise to break her hold!
