WARNING: This is a high-risk alert, drafted by Officer Yuki at the request of the L.A.W. security division to inform both the behind-the-scenes staff and the athletes themselves of the situation, as we consider this to be of the utmost importance and believe that as many people as possible should be made aware of it immediately.
As you are likely aware, in recent months there have been reports of acts of vandalism targeting the professional wrestling organization known as L.A.W., perpetrated by an unknown individual against this wrestling league. These acts have primarily focused on damaging L.A.W.’s private property, resulting in expense after expense to repair or replace lost equipment. Although security has been stepped up at the company’s facilities and stadiums, the individual in question continues to gain access to these facilities to carry out their destructive attacks. However, the two most recent reported incidents must now be made public because the individual has changed their attack pattern and modus operandi, and to provide further information about the individual.
Case 1: The Theft
At 5 a.m., an unknown individual entered the company’s old, disused costume closet and, as usual, proceeded to destroy all of them… except for one, which was stolen by the intruder. An unused, full-body black wrestling suit with a medieval knight theme, belonging to a wrestler who never made his debut or appeared for the company. What sets this wrestling outfit apart is that it was designed to resemble authentic medieval armor, allowing it to be worn in the ring without giving the wearer an advantage or disadvantage.
An investigation was launched to determine who had proposed the idea to L.A.W. It turned out to be the manager known as Ana Díaz, who, during her time as a freelancer, had approached the company with this idea, creating the costume as a demonstration and selling point; however, the idea was rejected, and the outfit was stored away in one of the federation’s countless dressing rooms. When she was contacted by security to give her testimony, the manager said she didn’t remember who was supposed to wear this specific costume. What she did confirm was the purpose of the outfit: it was designed so that the accessories wrestlers wear during their entrances (such as the armor worn by Big Van Vader or the Legion of Doom, which they would remove to wrestle normally) could be worn in the ring as usual. It was designed to be a comfortable suit for the wearer, one that would not provide a significant advantage or cause discomfort to the wrestlers, while also maintaining the solemnity of their ring entrances.
Case 2: The Showdown
After many more attacks carried out by this intruder in the wrestling league, the security team managed to identify the intruder’s attack pattern: there was an escalation in their acts of destruction, and they always struck late at night. They predicted that them next attack would be at the L.A.W. Hall of Fame. This area, located inside the main building, serves as a museum honoring the great female and male wrestlers and legendary stories the company has produced over the years. Damaging this place would not only be irreparable but also an insult to the entire company and to the women and men who worked tirelessly for it. All security personnel were ordered to prepare an ambush at that location. Equipped with the best riot gear available and backed by every possible reinforcement, they prepared to confront the individual once and for all.
Everyone was in position at 3 a.m., hidden from plain sight, surrounding the museum so there would be no escape route, and ready for the confrontation with the enemy, who didn’t take long to appear. And there it was, emerging from the shadows as if it were part of them, but this time wearing the clothes it had stolen nights ago. It was wearing the stolen knight’s suit, but it had been modified to make it look more menacing, as if it had truly stepped out of the era of medieval tournaments. They moved slowly and calmly, far too quietly and without making a single sound; it even seemed as though there was nothing alive beneath the armor, as if it were living armor itself. They approached a commemorative painting depicting the entire L.A.W. roster, and when they stood directly in front of it, they proceeded to shatter the protective glass with one hand and tear the painting with the other. It was then that the building’s security team surrounded them to capture them once and for all and prevent them from escaping as they had done before. The head of security ordered them to surrender to avoid further conflict, but the only thing the knight did was point their index finger at each of the officers present, one by one, and that’s when the massacre began…
They completely destroyed the entire unit; that morning, only a few remained conscious. The rest were unconscious or knocked out. With them bare hands, they shattered the protective gear and riot shields, treating anyone who physically confronted their as if they were a rag doll. Rubber bullets, baton blows, stun guns, or pepper spray had no effect on them; they only drew their attention to them. They didn’t even bother to dodge the enemy’s attacks and only struck back in response. They was so agile and fast that in the blink of an eye they could be in front of the guards and then behind them; it was like facing a shadow in broad daylight. Although they didn’t seem to counterattack when struck, they apparently didn’t need to, as they simply went after each guard and demolished them. And despite fighting like an animal, they possessed unprecedented technique and a wide variety of moves; moreover, they knew how to use their surroundings to their advantage: cornering their opponents, cutting off light sources to use the darkness to his benefit, and using anything as a weapon.
In the end, even with the interference of law enforcement, they achieved their goal by vandalizing and destroying the entire museum, leaving nothing salvageable. A terrible tragedy for everyone at L.A.W. But this time, they left their personal mark: their note. On a wall, pinned with a dagger, was a sheet of paper resembling ancient parchment that read “しゅうまつのきし,” which could be translated from the hiragana text as “Knight of Armageddon”. Marking the first time our assailant has revealed their name.
New information and new measures:
Thanks to this encounter, we now have more and better information about what our intruder looks like: they are tall (quite tall, some would say, with an estimated height between 190 and 220 cm), slender and agile, and did not utter a single word or make a single sound during the confrontation. We still do not know their true identity, and when we tried to see if the security cameras had captured their to gather more information, we discovered that they had been tampered with and the footage had been deleted. It is unknown whether it was the man himself or an unknown accomplice; the latter is rumored because people believe it is impossible for anyone to have pulled this off without the help of someone who works at the company.
Meanwhile, our knight’s attacks against L.A.W. continue, now leaving their mark on them and causing more and more financial losses. While this affects the company’s profits, the revenue generated by its highly professional, violent, and even sexual matches easily covers expenses without the risk of a financial crisis. But this also creates a lingering concern among top management. The concern is whether our knight of the end times’ next move will be to attack the federation’s true source of nearly infinite wealth: the wrestlers.
While the company has confidence in the strength of its athletes, the thing is that this isn’t just another conventional wrestler, hired thug, or someone with some training. This individual is different. This thing wiped out an entire security squad specialized in stopping and capturing them. People were trained to subdue other wrestler, yet they were demolished by this creature. So the staff fears that this beast could take their superstars out of the ring.
Therefore, a red alert is declared for all staff and roster members due to the threat this individual poses to everyone present here, and the following measures are recommended:
- Always go with someone else to the gym, cafeteria, locker room, or other areas in case of an emergency
- Avoid drawing too much attention to yourself or causing conflicts backstage, in case that attracts the aggressor’s attention.
- If you encounter them, avoid any kind of eye contact or verbal interaction and keep your distance.
- Notify security of any suspicious activity you witness.
- And remain calm at all times and avoid making rash decisions due to this individual’s presence.
With that said, we’ll sign off until the next update on the gentleman’s case; you’ll be the first to know if there are any new developments. We advise you to stay calm and know that this conflict will be resolved sooner or later. We’ll leave you with a graphic illustration created by our forensic artist and a final message…
… if you see this thing, run
Knight of Armageddon
