Fight Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Countout, Knockout, Submission, Disqualification
Aoto would nervously adjust her wrestling attire, a new one that she had just gotten, as she admired herself in the mirror. She was told tonight's opponent wasn't the most experienced, by any means, but her record still make most...if not all the people online believe she was going to lose anyways! And she was going to prove them wrong!
Taking a deep breath, Aoto would step outside as her music began playing, running down the ramp as the crowd cheered and slipping under the ropes and into the ring, going to her corner to wait for her opponent to arrive! Wrestling Gear
Bandita would glare such daggers at whoever implied she's inexperienced! But that's part of what these early matches are about - proving herself. Proving why a girl her age isn't in the Young Lioness program. Proving she deserves to be in the main roster, that training since fifteen meant something! And proving that the investment LAW put into her would be worthwhile!
There are no throwaway opportunities. None. Every match is important, every match means something to Bandita's burgeoning career in Japan. Because it impacts more than just her, more than just her own dreams of glory - she has three people, three more fish-out-of-water to think about. What she does matters. And that's a lot of pressure to be weighing on eighteen-year-old shoulders. But here she is. And having done some scouting on her opponent...
...she isn't sure what to make of things. The girl's one year older than her, slightly heavier, and has had one more match in her record than Bandita in this company. And each one of those matches ended in a loss. That can't be the full picture, can it...? Refusing to jump to any conclusions, Bandita stubbornly decides to just gauge things for herself in the ring!
-----
...The lights in the arena dim. Her music kicks on.
Amidst a fiery motif, two words scroll across the massive screens:
VIVA BANDITA
..before going into a series of career highlights showcasing Bandita's slickest moves and startling upsets in Mexico.
And in that moment, the girl herself emerges from the curtain, sporting bolero hat, flamenco skirt, and bullwhip held tightly curled in her right hand. Immediately, Bandita breaks into a smooth, hip-rolling samba dance, easy smile playing on her youthful face. Then, with the first spin in rhythm with the song, the whip flashes out into a lightning-fast strike with a CRACK! And thereafter, every twist, every twirl kicking up the flouncy length of her skirt results in another CRACK! of the whip, incorporating it seamlessly into the dance.
*CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK*
In the end, she gives a precise flick of the wrist and smoothly guides the whip into a loose coil to recapture into her hand, now raised in hail to the thrilled, cheering audience. The girl takes off into a sprint, her free hand raised to slap a trail of high-fives along the way to the commentator's table where she leaves her whip and hat in a neat pile.
Turning to the ring, she hauls herself up onto the edge of the ring, then grabs the top rope to vault herself neatly up and over. The moment her boots hit the mat, she springs into a handless cartwheel to hit the center of the ring, and lands in power stance with a finger pointing high to the sky, radiant smile brightening her features. The pose is held several seconds, letting the cameras flash and audience soak it in before heading to her corner to pull off the skirt. Once the fabric is bundled, she drops it off just outside the ropes, and finally turns to give her very slightly shorter opponent an appraising look.
After a few seconds, the sober expression breaks into another smile, and she makes her way to the center of the ring again. A hand sticks out invitingly towards Aoto. And in heavily-accented, struggling Japanese, she says, "Hello! It is nice to meet you! Do you speak English or Spanish?"
She... does not speak Japanese. Not really. But those are a few phrases she has down-pat. As a foreigner in a very strange land, it would have to be the couple phrases she could work with!
Aoto would watch nervously as her opponent sauntered into the ring, showing off her acrobatic skills and ability! She obviously wasn't that much of a rookie, contrary to her records, which to Aoto meant that if she could win, she would be able to prove herself!
"Uhm...I-i speak English! L-let's have a good match!"
Aoto would stammer out nervously as she accepted the handshake, before scurrying back to her corner
The girl with blue hair speaks English! And she's so stammery! Like she's nervous! It's kind of precious, and is immediately met with a smile as sweet as it is warm. Bandita immediately swaps to English, saying, "I'm sure we will!"
Her English is deeply saturated in a honeyed accent, leaning heavily on the vowels and biting the hard consonants. She's fluent, but it's clearly not her native tongue. It helps settle her mind a little to know she'll be able to communicate with her opponent, though! Especially one that seems so nice!
The referee backs her up from Aoto, and Bandita begins bouncing on her feet in eagerness. When the call is made to be ready, the Latina raises a fist into the air, first to signal the referee, then turning aside to signal the audience with a brilliant smile. And when Aoto confirms she's ready, the referee swings her arm before her. "Wrestle!"
*DING*
Bandita puts her full focus back on Aoto, hazel green eyes settled on her across the ring. The bouncing has ceased in favor of a more balanced stance, but she remains light on her feet with quick, gliding steps drawing her closer to the center of the mat. There, she pauses her advance and raises her arms.
"Come on, 'den! Les' see what you've got!," she calls to the other girl, inviting her into a classic lock-up. No tricks. No deceit. She wants to see how she measures up against this other girl physically, who can control a clench better.

As the bell rang, Aoto would be prepared to charge in to strike, but she would see her opponent inviting her to a clinch! Aoto would nod nervously as she locked up with Bandita, though it wasn't exactly her strong suit. She would try to see if she could overpower her opponent as she pushed with all her might, trying to get the Latina to fall onto the mat!
