Bunny Brawl: Tashida VS. Bengal

Many wrestlers would feel nervous about being matched with a competitor in a higher weight class, but not Bengal. When the Blaze Tiger was first shown pictures of Tashida "the Happy Bunny", her first comments weren't about her opponent's size, but rather her cuddly, rabbit-themed outfit. "What a ridiculous look," the Indian fighter sneered. She pushed the pictures back across her manager's table, rolling her eyes dismissively. "Look at those goofy ears...what exactly is she trying to prove?"

The other woman held her tongue, not wanting to point out that her own client was wearing a tiger-eared headband. The match was booked without delay. A few days later, Bengal could be found backstage at the local LAW arena, pacing impatiently while she waited for her theme music to begin. As soon as the opening riff of Meshuggah's "Combustion" started to thrum through the arena speakers, she charged forward, emerging onto the entrance ramp through a cloud of smoke and sparks.

Ignoring the standard chorus of boos from the crowd, Bengal continued down the entrance ramp, swiping her claws at any unfortunate fans who got too close to the barricade. She leaped nimbly up onto the apron, swaying her hips jauntily as the announcer declared: "The following contest is a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Introducing first...from Kolkata, India...standing five feet, seven inches, and weighing 140 pounds...THE BLAZE TIGER! BENGAL!"

Bengal blew a mocking kiss toward the crowd, then ducked into the ring. Striding to her corner, she began to stretch against the ropes. All the while, her amber eyes remained fixed on the top of the ramp, waiting for her opponent to arrive.

Tashida was excited, it had been a while since she has had a match, especially with someone from a lower weight class. As Tashida readjusted her top she would hear her opponent's theme play, taking that as a signal to get going.

As her own song started playing, Tashido would walk to the stage before hearing the cheers from her long time fans. She would walk down the ramp swaying her hips at the crowd, earring higher cheers.

Tashida climbed on the ropes, showing off her new attire and her curves to the crowd as she posed on the apron, before going between the ropes and looking at Bengal. "Sorry to keep you waiting darling~ are you ready to have a fun match?~"

Bengal glared back at the bunny woman, still apparently unimpressed by the height difference between them. After all, this wasn’t the first time that she’d taken down prey larger than herself. “I was waiting for an opponent who’s worth my time,” she sneered, leaning back casually in the corner. “And I’m still waiting now.” She held up one hand so that her glossy nails caught the arena light, making their sharpened edges gleam in an unspoken threat.

“If you came here to have fun, you’ve already lost,” the Indian fighter continued, watching Tashida’s face closely for any sign of fear or hesitation that she could exploit. “You have a lot to learn, and pain is the best teacher. When I’m done with you, you’ll be the UNhappy Bunny!”

DING-DING! The opening bell rang out, cutting Bengal’s rant short. Before the last echo had faded, the Tiger was already lunging toward her target. She swung her hips forward and launched a snap kick at Tashida’s knee, hoping to nullify her opponent’s height advantage by cutting her legs out from underneath her!
