Let the Dominos Fall: Drake "Domino" Vyril vs Karen Gale

Karen flexed her jaw, trying to work out some lingering soreness as she rolled. Domino had gotten her good, she thought gingerly, hitting her with a hard and decisive counter after a lot of back-and-forth chain wrestling between them. As she rolled onto her front, she resolved that that was the last good hit she was going to let Domino have, that she was going to turn this match around and teach this guy a thing or two about wrestling.

And then she felt Domino's arms around her waist.

As she was lifted off her feet, she took a split second to realize just how strong Domino was. Clearly, those muscles weren't for show. Clearly, up until now, she had been making a mistake by thinking of Domino as a male model and not a proper wrestler.

And then Karen's shoulders and upper body slammed into the mat. The audience whooped as Karen practically bounced off the mat before flopping facedown onto the mat, her white and violet ponytail sprawling sideways as she was left in a hurting, groaning daze from the impact of the German suplex.

That's half the battle. Hell, Domino might even be smiling if he'd heard her thoughts turn in that direction. It's the legitimacy he seeks, to carve his name out of the unwelcoming granite slab that is prejudicial preconceptions. And the only way he knows to do that is to defeat strong opponents. Opponents the audience sees as legitimate threats. Opponents the company sees as strong opposition.

Karen getting blasted against the mat send tremors throughout the ring's apparatus, and Domino twists around to all fours to quickly mark how she's doing. And as it appears now, the dark-skinned beauty is left lying facedown, stunned. He closes in with her on all fours and sets a hand to her hip and shoulder to ragdoll her body over onto her back, to leave her faceup and splayed. He then throws himself down across her body stomach-first, pressing his tightly-toned abdominals firmly across her own invitingly bare midsection. Reaching back, he hooks her thigh under his arm to pull up against his side while the other arm braces against the mat, letting him put the focus of his weight into her stomach.

It isn't that he thinks she's already completely down and out, per se. Or rather, it isn't that he's assuming to know that for a fact. But that last slam was not gentle. It was aggressive. And if she took it wrong (or right, by his efforts), it could easily mean a very stunned and dazed Karen he could hold pinned down for multitudes of three-counts. All he needs is one set of three slaps to the mat to show this audience how hard he slings people.

His head tilts to look back towards Karen's face as he lies across her.

The referee-girl dives down to the mat to begin the pin...

Karen's head was ringing after its violent collision with Domino's shoulder. Facedown on the mat, she could only give a muffled groan as she kicked one leg at the mat, trying to sort out her swirling headspace, trying to will her body into movement again. In more ways than one, Domino had taken her by surprise, and she was now paying the price for letting her guard down against her male opponent.

She felt herself being pushed, and next thing she knew she was on her back, looking up blinking at the arena lights. Her vision was still a bit blurry, but she was more than conscious of Domino's bare abs pressing down against hers, one of her muscular thighs being pushed back as she was neatly wrapped up for a pinfall. Nearby, the ref began the countdown.

"ONE! TW--"

With a grimace, she twisted under Domino, getting a shoulder up, chest pumping as she breathed hard. She was not going to be put away so early in the match, god dammit.

Domino holds her body snug against his, her thigh hugged tight to his side and knees spreading to put more pressing against her abs with his own. He could feel the tension in her core, the tightening of her muscles under him as Karen breathed and composed herself - moreso in that instant before the sudden buck of her body sent her tilting against him.

The shoulder got up off the mat. Her leg was still held in his arm, the motion sliding his hand higher between her legs as a consequence. But after continuing to lie partly across her waist for a few seconds more, head tilting to look towards her face, he releases her captive leg and raises himself to his feet.

His left hand grabs her head, fingers sifting through her white locks - not to tangle and pull, but just to set his palm against her scalp and slide behind her head. The right hand sets beneath her chin, and both pull to draw the tanned woman up to her feet again.

"Nice abs," he adds - not with an outward smirk, but his tone is slightly impish. Of course he'd have become more acquainted with her toned midsection after lying across it. But he aims to pull her head beneath his left arm, to toss her left arm behind his neck, and grab onto the hip of her trunks to prepare to execute a textbook suplex and land her firmly behind him.

Karen felt her chest pumping as she managed to kick out. Domino, however, did not roll off of her-- not immediately, at any rate. For a few seconds she was very conscious of his firm abs pressed against hers, of his hand lingering against her thigh. Despite herself, felt a slight blush spread across her cheeks.

And then Domino was up and moving. Her hair was grabbed-- not forcefully, but enough that she found herself wincing as her scalp burned, and being forced to stand up-- and then she was pulled in just as Domino made a quick compliment of her abs.

And then her head was tucked under Domino's armpit, forcing her head to nuzzle against Domino's muscular side, and her left arm was trapped behind his head. Even before her trunks were grabbed, alarm bells rang in her head as she realized what was going on.

"Back at you," came her response, as she tried to ball her free hand and send a punch into Domino's flank, followed by another if this made him pause. If she managed to stop the suplex altogether, then she would grab for Domino's thigh, use her left hand to grab the back of his head, and with a grunt, she would tilt back and try to nail Domino with a suplex of her own!

Failing any of this, of course, and Karen would be the one suplexed and lying in a groaning mess on her back...

It's a funny thing, really. Domino obviously wouldn't be saying things like this against a male opponent. Compliments like that are a pretty clear sign that the body's being checked out. And in the ring, it would only be a natural course to get very acquainted with the other person's body - strengths, weaknesses, firmness, softness, so on! But here they are, locked in a competitive state vying for dominance over each other in front of a screaming crowd, and...

...well, compliments are had back and forth.

You have to be a wrestler to get it, maybe.

When he hears it back, despite the suplex setup he's obviously setting her into, a small smirk plays on his features. Couldn't be helped! That bit of self-awareness just flashed into his mind with momentary clarity. But it's soon battered away again as her fist thumps into his side. "Nnf!" Unable to muster the strength to hoist her athletic body into the air fresh after the aching body blow, he instead finds himself swept into the air and landing behind her on the mat with clattering impact.

Upon landing, he immediately arches his back, torso pushed upwards in recoil and expression tight with pain.

Karen was, of course, sincere about Domino having nice abs, even as her face was squeezed against them, her cheek pressed against their firmness as she was forced to breathe against them. It qas the sort of thing she tended to notice about opponents, male or female, whenever they had an interesting physique about them. And, even outside of the whole male model thing, it was clear that Domino had worked hard to get as fit as he was.

That still didn't stop Karen from suplexing Domino hard into the mat.

Standing back up to her full height, Karen took a few seconds to mime dusting herself off and flex a little for the fans. Turning back to Domino, she strode after him and grabbed a hold of his arm, yanking him up to his feet.

"Don't lie down yet, pretty boy, we're just getting warmed up!"

So saying, Karen would whip Domino towards the ropes. As he came bouncing back, Karen would run right at him and wrap her arms around his waist, lifting him off his feet, before twisting around and bombing him back-first into the mat!

Domino was collecting himself by the time she'd put her focus on him again, propped up on an elbow and focusing past the rattling impact of the suplex. But as it so happens, Karen's there to lend a hand. He's drawn up to his full height, something briefly darkening in his expression at her wording before he finds himself thrown at the ropes.

Pretty boy.

One of those things people say to deride him. To demean him. To undermine and dismiss any accomplishments he's made. Logically, he'd have to expect people to toss out that phrase, all things considered, right? Logically, he'd have to. But that it's been used so long, so derogatorily, it has a bristling effect.

Still, his boots hammer across the mat, turning to hit the ropes and return to Karen's waiting arms. He's hoisted up and slammed down again upon the mat in a spinebuster. His back arches in renewed pain, eyes squeezed shut and expression caught in grimace.

Karen, for her part, was utterly oblivious to the phrase stinging Domino as much as it had. As far as she was concerned, it was just regular trash talk, with no actual malice behind it and meant to foster a sense of competitive rivalry. And...well, as far as Karen was concerned, it was true. It was hardly controversial to point out how attractive a former male model was.

Not that that was going to slow her down at all.

After slamming Domino down with the spine buster, the Maori quickly followed up, aiming an elbow drop into his center mass. If it connected the she would be quick to lie across his chest and hook a leg for the pinfall!
