Raya Ashberry vs Karen Gale

Raya tried to crawl away but it was useless as she could do nothing but struggle in Karen’s grip as her opponent nailed her with a gut wrench suplex, causing her to grunt in agony once again as she was pressed against the mat for a pinfall!

“One!” The ref started counting as Raya laid there gasping for breath, she heard the count starting and knew she had to get out of it.

“Two!” The count continued but Raya would manage to just barely kick out of the pin, but still she was in deep waters, she knew Karen wouldn’t hesitate to continue her onslaught so she’d try to roll out of the ring to give herself a chance to lick her wounds after such a horrible turn of events that one after the other had left her close to defeat!

So far, the match had been nothing but nonstop offense from Karen. As she suplexed her foe into the mat, Karen kept her arms wrapped around Raya's bare back, holding her breath as she arched off the mat to put her foe into a pinfall she didn't think she would get a pinfall this early, but still...

Sure enough, Raya kicked out at the two count, flopping onto her front. As Karen rolled back into a seated position and began to roll towards the ropes, no doubt trying to recuperate. The match had barely begun, and already, the challenger was on the run.

"Oh, where do you think you're going?" Karen growled, following after Raya. As her opponent dropped out of the ring, Karen move to the edge of the ring, glaring down at the Canadian from the ropes as the ref urged her to back off. "Hey, come back in, the water's fine! I thought we were having a match?"

Raya let out a sharp gasp as she thought she saw Karen following her out of the ring, but she let out a sigh of relief when she saw the ref urging her to back off before turning and starting to count Raya out.

She listened to Karen’s taunt but stayed silent, not wanting to waste her breath. So far this match she had been on the ropes completely, but she knew that now was the time to switch things up.

Once the count reached seven, Raya would swiftly roll back in the ring from the opposite side of where Karen was standing, and refreshed from the earlier onslaught would charge at her immediately, hoping to take her by surprise by trying to drive her shoulder into Karen's gut with a spear!

Begrudgingly, Karen backed away from the ropes to allow space for Raya to re-enter. Thus far, she had been fairly in control of this match, almost effortlessly dominating from the outset; now that she had been given some breathing room, Raya might be ready for her this time.

As Raya rolled back into the ring, the Canadian suddenly sprang at her in a lunge. Karen was admittedly taken by surprise; she had been expecting a lockup attempt, or a clothesline, but instead Raya dropped low and speared hard into her exposed abs! "OOOOF!" Karen grunted, the blow taking her onto her back with Raya on top.

"Hehe, I thought you said you wanted a match right just now, but it just looks like you wanna take a nap!" Raya would say confidently after she had managed to connect with the spear and send both herself and Karen tumbling to the mat, before getting on top of the other woman.

Although she didn't want to take the risk of gloating for too long and give her opponent a chance to recover either, so she'd quickly move to hook Karen's leg and attempt to finish the match as soon as possible with a pinfall, then she'd wait for the ref to start counting, hoping that her spear had done enough damage to keep Karen down for these few moments.

"Nnnngh..." Karen groaned as she lay on her back, her midsection sore from where the force of Raya's entire body had just collided with it. "Shut...up..." she grumbled at Raya as the other girl taunted her. One single blow with a spear, and the Canadian was already getting cocky, she thought with irritation.

A second later, though, Karen felt her leg being pulled back as Raya wrapped her up for a pinfall! The crowd was on the edge of their seat as the ref dropped down for a pin count.

"ONE..."

With a growl, Karen twisted her body and kicked out, hoping to force Raya off of her and roll back to her feet...

“Gaah!” Raya was quickly forced off by Karen’s kick out right after the first count. She had hoped that the spear would have done more damage, but that clearly wasn’t the case.

"You're a tough nut to crack, huh?" She muttered as she watched Karen roll back to her feet and get up.

Raya would stand back up as well and she would try and take the initiative again, trying to keep momentum as the aggressor by pressing Karen and giving her less time to mount a move of her own. She would aim at her opponent’s gut with a powerful punch, hoping to stun her!

Karen winced as she rolled back up to her knees. Her abdomen was still sore from where Raya had collided with her, and she was breathing hard as she tried to get back upright. Slowly, she pushed herself back up to her feet, determined not to let Raya retain the advantage...

Raya's fist came whistling in, and slammed against her already sore midsection. "AGHK!" Karen gagged, doubling over instantly. Slowly, she dropped down to one knee, the breath momentarily frozen in her lungs by the repeated impact to her stomach...

As she watched Karen drop to one knee, Raya smirked and moved in to keep the momentum going, she'd move to stand behind Karen who was still on one knee, would try and wrap her arms around her opponent's waist in an attempt to pull her up and then throw her with a german suplex!

"Let's see you shrug off this one!" Raya would say in a mixture of taunting and anger right before trying to pull off the move.
