With both women back on their feet, Ryouko still managed to gather herself to attack first, but it seemed that the kick had succeeded in dazing her at least a bit; her movements seemed slower, and as she came in with a knee strike aimed at Kate's belly, she would manage to slip to the side. Then she'd try sending one arm under the knee to hold the woman in place. If she could manage that, she would then reach from behind to grab her around the neck before lifting her up for a leg hook belly to back suplex that she'd then attempt to hold her opponent down in that position for a pin attempt!

Ryuko scowled as she missed but that look quickly turned to one of surprise as she was grabbed and lift up! Ryuko had no time to react and soon crashed painfully to the mat as Kat sent her smashing to the canvas! Ryuko groaned in agony and was now covered for a pin immediately in a tough position.

The official slid in to place and began to count as Ryuko kicked her free leg, flailed her arms and bucked her hips about while the officials count had begun.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Ryuko howled and thrust out at two before flopping down to her side and reaching around to her back as the after effects of the suplex left her on the mat after kicking out.

It was unsurprising to Kate that Ryuko kicked out; the woman had proven to be tough, but still, it was worth a try, and regardless. Moreover, it seemed to have done some damage as the woman rolled over and nursed her back.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, Kate would scramble to get on top of her, trying to get her hands under her chin to pull her chin up and arch her back to secure a camel clutch!

Ryuko managed to kick out but as soon she did Kate was already on top of her again and in motion. Ryuko was rolled over and her head was yanked back as her arms were draped over Kates kneeling legs. Ryuko shook her head and kicked her feet as she was stuck in the camel clutch! She howled in pain and thrashed about as much as she could, stuck for sure in this painful hold!

Ryuko needed to get her hands free, thrashing side to side to try to make enough room to allow her to get her arms mobile. She was going to try to reach up and pull at Kate's grip on her chin once her hands could get there but this hold was solid and Ryuko had her work cut out for her to try to enact her plan!
