Catherine Celestial vs Katsumi Oshiro - No Disqualification

The audience watches in anticipation as the pin lingers on. Katsumi arches herself a little tighter into Catherine's prone body, reasserting the pin in as visceral a way as she possibly can. There's something of a thrill to pinning down a girl with clearly more muscle definition than herself, feeling the abdominals beneath her; a guilty pleasure, maybe. A sort of affirmation that muscles aren't everything - nevermind that nagging sense of jealousy that she seems unable to hit that level of abdominal tone.

Hmf. Whatever.

The referee's hand slaps the mat a second time, and Katsumi's heart beats a little faster. That's when the captive leg springs to life, jerking free of the pin. The referee leans back, waving the two to the audience. No fall.

Katsumi, however, is destined to frustrate Catherine twice in short order. First, moving out of the way of that knee. Second, acting now.

As Catherine begins collecting herself, Katsumi shoots her a glower. One hand seizes for the woman's hair, fingers tangling near the scalp. The other hand grabs for her arm. Both working together, they'll... 'support', so to speak, Catherine's determination to stand. But in a controlled way. With Catherine seeming squirrely already after the signature kick, she needs to soften her up - namely with a single, powerful thrust of the knee aimed to sink into the other woman's gut.

Catherine expects since Katsumi seems too easy to upset that she won't be doing much. Well, apparently it was a flash understanding.

It feels weird to Catherine, but Katsumi grabs the top of her head...well, hair. The other hand of hers grabs an arm and tries to help raise her up. Is she going to shove her or something? No, Katsumi just wants to deliver one powerful knee strike.

The knee strike made her walk backward a bit. She wasn't expecting something like that to be so strong. Well, she has been targeting her torso, so it makes sense.

The boot touches down again and Katsumi admires the handiwork for just a second. Catherine's a very fit woman. It takes quite a bit to break down abs like hers. But damn if it isn't satisfying. And damn if she doesn't want to do it in front of all these people for her big PPV debut.

Closing in hot on her trail, Katsumi seizes for her hair a second time - but not so much to follow up with another strike. Rather, with the referee uselessly standing by and unable to really fuss about the hair-pulling, Katsumi marches Catherine to the edge of the ring and forces her head low between the top and middle ropes. The hair is released in favor of reaching over the ropes to grab her by the arms, pulling them - and the woman they're attached to - upright again, and hooking those arms over the top rope behind her, leaving her upper-body outside the ring.

At last, Katsumi links her gloved hands beneath Catherine's chin to begin pulling, straining the woman backwards against the top rope while the middle rope helpfully keeps her restrained.

"Sing for me, baby," she says as she pulls, bringing her face a little closer to Catherine's ear. "Let'em hear how much this hurts..."

The referee quickly leans over the ropes beside them to keep an eye on Catherine. "Do you give up!?," she asks. "Do you tap out!?"

No, Catherine isn't going to let Katsumi get satisfaction. from her screaming. It does hurt, yes, but she's not going to give in. She's stubborn like that. Honestly though, she was expecting something else rather than this.



"No." She said with her deep breaths and growl. Catherine is trying to figure a way out of this. She thinks she remembers but can't really remember how it was done.



Catherine goes to try and flex her arms. Remove them from the ropes and pull them back in. However, Katusmi seeing it is going to put her in more pain to try and stop her from doing this.



Catherine isn't going to tap to this. She refuses to tap to this beat. Shen will not worry with all of her might; she refuses to tap to this submission.

Catherine is, in fact, correct in her expectation! As her arms flex and she tries to pull them free of the ropes, Katsumi ratchets up the pressure and leverage by jamming a knee into the center of her back and reclining sharply. Half of Katsumi's weight is pressured into Catherine's frame as she's arched much tighter against the ropes, pushing her body into a sharper angle for the cameras to capture and immortalize; every taut detail of her physical being, stretched on display and Katsumi's wickedly pleased smile behind her as she pulls.

"I said sing!," she demands.

It already took effort to force Catherine into this position and begin applying pressure. It takes more effort, now that she's unnaturally half-relying on the other girl's body for her own leverage. She won't be able to keep this up forever! But she's definitely hoping to wear her out in the hold, or even force a rope-based submission!

"Do you submit!?," demands the referee, a little more frantic in the intensifying hold.

"No, I am not going to give up!" Catherine said in defiance. She is going to let her opponent be satisfied. She plans to deny her. She just groans a bit here and takes deep breaths.

She is not going to cave to anyone. She doesn't care that she's not asking in this fashion, and she's going to deny Katsumi her submission win. She fully plans on doing so.

Once again Catherine will try to remove her arms from the ropes. She hopes to break free from this submission, so she's going to start there. If it works, she's going to try and push back to let her neck escape. Unless Katsumi does something, her submission just might be over.

"Tch..."

Disappointment. Katsumi can understand the pride, but what a let-down! The cameras were denied a great shot! A highlight! Catherine's body arched painfully against the ropes as Katsumi grinds her knee into her spine; the drama and intensity alone could've moved copies! And naturally, Katsumi can't help but think in terms of exposure and potential. There's so much riding on this!

But if she can't wrench a scream out of her stoic opponent, she'll have to settle for a more dazzling victory. A more decisive win.

Katsumi can see Catherine freeing her arms, and it's clear the submission hold will be ending soon. If not ending, then weakening. And with the amount of effort it's taking to ply on this amount of pressure, it's just not worth continuing. She can do so much more, and better!

So suddenly, those hands disengage from Catherine's jaw, releasing her with an elastic snap of the ropes. And at this point, Catherine's own resistance might be working against her! If she manages to stay upright, she'll find a boot planted firmly in the center of her back with the intention to blast her the rest of the way through the ropes and down to the padded floor surrounding the ring. If Catherine's release sees her flopping forward, half in and out, Katsumi will simply grab her ankles to hoist and shove to spill her out to the floor. One way would probably hurt less.

Catherine was trying to push back and forth. She felt her chin getting let go by Katsumi. She was still pushing back to fallback. She just wanted to escape.

However, for her. She won't be able to. Katsumi kicks her right in the back. It was a hard kick that sent her over the ropes, and she crashed into the floor. She angrily grunted from that. She's going to make her pay.

She would slowly try to get up but not waste too much time just in case she was going to do something over the top. She doesn't hear her coming down. Not yet at the very least.

Something over the top was precisely what Katsumi had in mind. She had to. She needed to ramp this up, to pile on the damage and make this a showstopper. To prove she deserved to be higher on the card. To be the highest. The very top. The title scene. It was everything or nothing! And seeing Catherine spill out onto the flooring beyond the apron gave her precisely the opening she wanted.

She didn't do these often. But this, in this PPV, was the time for it.

Katsumi shoots her finger into the air, signaling the audience as Catherine collects herself.

She rushes away from her, burying herself into the stretchy cables and launches forward. Her feet pound hard, fast enough that she feels weightless.

Then, suddenly, she is.

Katsumi torpedoes herself through the top and middle rope, arms spread and angled on a collision-course with Catherine, aimed to collide chest-to-chest with the other girl to bear her down to the ground.

Catherine adjusted herself. She saw Katsumi coming. She saw her going through the ropes, and that's when she got out of the way. "Whoops." She said.


Katsumi missing Catherine would either hit the floor or tie the barricade, then the floor. Either way she misses Catherine because Catherine dodges her. The crowd cheering and such risrd.


Catherine went on to jump up and elbow drop the downed Katsumi. She highly doubts she can actually escape since she just misses her target, aka herself. She steps on her back if that was successful. "Time for payback." The stomp on her back and gets off.
