This wasn't the type of match Amy usually went for. Well more like the type of opponent. Tonight she would step in the ring with another heroine. She was used to facing off against heels, and to be honest she preferred it. Bringing villains to justice, inspiring others, it made her feel fulfilled. But maybe it would be nice to have a friendly match once in a while.
Amy prepared to make her entrance. For some reason though, she felt more nervous than usual. As she stepped out onto the ramp she decided to forgo showmanship just this once out of respect for her opponent, so as not to treat them like the villains she normally faced.
She made her way to the ring and stepped between the ropes, acknowledging the crowd with a nod before retreating to her corner. There she waited, curious as to just what kind of heroine she would meet. Spoiler
This was definitely not what Sophia was excepting right before her We Are LAW debut, but here we are. Tonight Sophia was getting ready to step back into the LAW arena to fight not just a newcomer but apparently someone of a similar mindset and goals as her own. Even if there was a weight class difference between the two of them, Sophia wanted to test her opponent's mettle without holding anything back. In truth Sophia was starting to get more excited for this bout as she put on her ring gear with a bright smile across her face. "Oh man I wonder, is she like me where she has her own superhero gimmick or is she more refined? Either way I can't wait!" Sophia giggled to herself with giddy as she guided her body through each sleeve of her outfit until it on properly. The only thing that was missing was her mask which she leaned over pulling up from her bench and putting it over her face as now she was finally in her full gear. "Alrightly I'm all set to go!" Gloria noted admiring herself in the mirror taking a second to flex her muscles before turning around to begin her way down to the ring tonight.

Soon enough Gloria's theme began to blast through the arena as Gloria began to step through the curtain the gorilla and onto the top ramp, standing there doing her signature pose with her hands on her hips firmly with a wide grin and her thrusting her chest forward as she looked down at her opponent who was already in the squared circle. Gloria stood like a statue for a second before with one big step began to make her way down to the ring, and instead of her usual showmanship she wanted to follow in the footsteps of her younger foe. Instead of flexing her biceps or stopping to take picture she would march down to the ring keeping her eyes glued to her opponent trying to get a read on her. After stepping up the steel steps, Gloria would dust her shoes off before stepping between the ropes now being face to face with her opponent.
There Gloria stood firmly with a smirk on the side of her cheek as she measured up Amy before putting her hand out to the ref gesturing for a mic. Once the ref placed it in her hand, Gloria quickly raised it up taking a second to tap the mic before putting it up to her mouth. "I must say, I don't know about you Amy but I'm pretty excited for this match." Gloria started speaking softly into the mic as she relaxed her body muscles to be more approachable then being a towering giant over her younger competitor. "Ever since I trained to be a professional wrestler it's been a dream of mine to face off with other woman like me who believe in justice above all else, so for that reason alone, let's have a good, clean match okay?" Gloria added and rather than do her usual bit of hyping up the crowd, here she was continuing to just speak to Amy and no one else about how excited she was about facing someone of similar ideals she also had and wanting to make sure both girls just had a good match above everything else. The giant superhero spoke with clear sincerity in her voice as she slowly walked up to her opponent of the evening and rather than taunt her by lowering her body to show the size difference, she simply extended her hand out for a handshake hoping things start off right between the two heroine's.
The young heroine stood in the ring as her opponent made her entrance. If Amy was a heroine, Gloria was definitely a superheroine. The woman looked like she had been pulled straight out of a comic book. Her excitement radiated off of her and infected Amy. She felt herself getting hyped up for the match just watching her opponent move down the ramp.
When the two were finally face to face in the ring, the first thing Amy noticed was the size difference. She was definitely going to have her work cut out for her tonight. But despite that, she wasn't worried. This match wasn't a test of her ideals. She wasn't tasked with bringing her opponent to justice. This match was supposed to be fun.
Amy loosened up, her shoulders dropping as she exhaled. A smile crept across her face. A rare occurrence for her in the ring. Her eyes met Gloria's and she lifted her handed to meet the giant's, accepting the handshake. "I couldn't agree more." Even if she lost tonight, she knew she would have a good time and probably even gain a new friend.
As Gloria marched down to the ringside, she kept her focus on young Amy and without words she could see the excitement building up in her young opponent which made Gloria's smile grow even wider as she could feel her chest pumping with adrenaline as her excitement for the match grew with each step she took forward to the ring. "Now this is what I live for." Gloria smirked as she dusted her boots off before stepping into the square circle to prepare herself for what was sure to be a good match.
Now that the two were in the ring Gloria had a few words to get off her chest, they weren't boastful or rude but a genuine display of excitement from the older hero despite the size difference, it would be a match just for fun between two heroes. Gloria could see the change in body language from her opponent as now she was just smiling to meet a fellow heroine themed wrestler. "Thank you so much." Gloria replied softly as Amy accepted her token of sportsmen ship before breaking off to head back to their respective corners.
Gloria took a moment to stretch getting rid of all of the kinks in her body before rolling her shoulders to hear a pop. "Ohhh that's a good sign already!" Gloria lean her head back with a good laugh as she now focused her attention on Amy. "I'm ready... I hope you are too." She grinned as she put her arms out for a standard lockup hold before the bell rung.
DING DING DING!
With that underway Gloria moved forward aiming to beginning to offer a test of strength between her and Amy and had Amy accepted it, Gloria would do everything she could to try and push Amy back into her corner with her strength!
