Camile Dion[D] vs Ivy Aster

While Camile would’ve ideally liked a few moments of recovery time, she found herself in a favorable position, and knew she couldn’t pass it up. She was low on energy and her opponent had been dragging her around the ring like a limp puppet. If she’d any hope of winning tonight, she’d need to rapidly regain the initiative.

The Frenchwoman acted as quickly as her battered body would allow. First, she, from atop the Englishwoman, would droop slightly in an elbow strike aimed at the jaw. After that, she would roll off of Ivy, and try to get to her feet. She was banking on the hope that by this time Ivy would still be grounded. If she was, Camile would try to go for another attack, dropping back down with both knees into Ivy’s gut

Ivy had most definitely not been expecting to get reversed from the position she had. And now, with her frailty, having her opponent sitting on top of her was an incredibly dangerous position for the Englishwoman. Camile then went straight for Ivy's head, but she was able to get an arm up to block, not that it still didn't leave her forearm stinging a bit.

But rather than continue her ground and pound, Camile would stand up. Ivy was surprised, but she saw an opportunity to steal back the initiative. She rolled over, trying to wrap her arms around the Frenchwoman's ankles and drag her to the ground. But Camile pulled her feet off the ground just in time, and all Ivy ended up doing was rolling over so that her back would take the impact of her opponent's knees instead of her stomach. "AUGH!" Ivy bellowed out as Camile landed on top of her, in prime position for a potentially devastating submission hold.

Ivy rolling over hadn’t been part of the plan, but in hindsight, it was likely a good thing. Camile was now in a good position for a submission hold, on top of an opponent with an already damaged back. Camile knew that if she was to take back the math, this was the time. If she faltered, she might not get another shot.

Camile would swivel on her perch, and go to grab Ivy’s legs, hooking her feet under her arms. If she could do this, she would rise, with bent knees, and lean back to put pressure on Ivy’s back, in a solid Boston crab.

Ivy was shuddering beneath Camile, the tingle of the brunette's Knee Drop still coursing its way through her body. The purple haired wrestler was not able to regain their bearings in time to do anything towards stopping Camile from taking her legs and locking her into a deep Boston Crab. Bending Ivy's back in half mere moments after it had been driven into by the Frenchwoman's knees.

"AHH! GAAH!" Ivy cried out as her calves were pulled over her head. There was a time when this simple two move combination would have been enough to break Ivy. Honestly, she could feel the pull of the wrestler she once was telling her to give up. But that's not who Ivy was now. By no means was she some damage sponging tank, but she had grown far past the days of being as sturdy as a glass dish.

Ivy brought her hand to mat, not to tap, but to pull herself forward. Camile sitting on her upper back caused the Englishwoman's breasts to drag along the mat, but she disregarded the sensation as she brought her other arm forward and dragged herself again. Ivy faltered a moment as a sharp jolt ran up her spine, but that moment was all she would for before continued to crawl the rest of the way to the ropes.

Camile bit her lower lip and locked in the submission hold. She wasn’t especially well trained in submissions, but the hold proved strong enough. Her traction was less sturdy. Ivy’s progress towards the ropes was slow, but inexorable. Camile quickly realized, after a few moments of intense struggle, that she couldn’t prevent Ivy from reaching the ropes. At least not in this hold. Switching holds was an option, but would leave her exposed. She decided that her best option was to stay the course, and inflict as much damage to the Englishwoman as she could, while she could. She leaned further back, attempting to amp up the pressure. When Ivy did inevitably reach the ropes, Camile would maintain the hold as long as possible, up until the referee hit four if she could, before releasing it. Once she did, she would back up a couple of steps, out of Ivy’s immediate threat range.

”You’re quite tenacious, you know that?”

She’d be back upon her opponent in a matter of seconds. She’d approach fast and low, and attempt to grab Ivy by the shoulder and drag her into the corner of the ring. Once there, she’d attempt to prop Ivy up against the ring corner for a running hip attack.

Ivy grabbed onto the rope, but Camile didn't let go. She held on for all four seconds that she could get away with without getting DQed. "Oh really?! You're that type of wrestler?!" Ivy censured when the Frenchwoman decided to hold on for a little extra. For someone who took each hit as hard as Ivy did, this certainly was not appreciated.

Ivy could, however, appreciate the compliment that Camile gave her. Being praised on her tenacity was something that gave the Englishwoman a burst of pride considering how defensively frail she was known to be. Not that Ivy would thank Camile for the compliment, considering the method she had just pushed the purplette's tenacity with.

Camile tried to grab Ivy by the shoulder and drag her into the shoulder, but the Englishwoman would respond with a reversal, getting her arm around the brunette's hip and whipping Camille around herself and into the corner originally meant for Ivy. After that, Ivy would let her momentum carry her into a Dropkick aimed right under the Frenchwoman's chest.

”What can I say, ma chérie?” Camile grunted as she moved to grab Ivy’s shoulder and shift her. “I’ve got to get my damage in someti-“ Camile was cut off abruptly as Ivy wrapped her arm around the frenchwoman. She gasped as she was thrown bodily into the corner of the ring. Clearly, her comments about Ivy’s tenacity weren’t too far off the mark.

Before Camile could rally herself to react, Ivy was in the air, her boots slamming into Camile’s torso with devastating force! Camile wheezed, the air force out of her lungs, as her legs buckled slightly and she sagged in the corner. She attempted to regain her bearings, but for the moment, she was left vulnerable.

Ivy caught Camile yapping. Whether the purplette's counter would have worked regardless, or if the pigtailed brunette had genuinely distracted herself by talking, Ivy had finally managed to take some control back. Ivy used that control to blast her feet into Camile's stomach, and smash her back into the corner post. Slumping the debutante against the pole with her arms hanging over the bottom rope.

Ivy would grab Camile and throw her out of the corner. She was planning to put the Frenchwoman in a submission, and wanted to deny her easy access to a rope break. If not stopped, Ivy would grab Camile's legs and cross them over each other at the shins, and bend them forward. Then the Brit would sit on the ankle of the leg crossed on top, pushing it down, and hook one of her legs under Camile's leg that was crossed underneath and push it up. Thr result would be a Double Toed Leglock, brutally bending Camile's legs against each other.

Camile was thrown from the corner, just shy of the ring’s center. She landed with a soft thud, breathing deeply as she tried to regain herself. She mentally chastised herself. She underestimated Ivy, and her capacity to sprint back to resistance. She knew better. Still, she couldn’t bring herself back to a fighting stance before Ivy had grabbed her legs.

Camile didn’t even have time to protest before Ivy had bent her legs into position for a submission hold! ”GAAHH!” She cried out, writhing and squirming in pain. She desperately pounded and pushed at Ivy’s legs, trying to brute force her way out, before reason returned to her. ”Get… off!” She cried, before attempting to deliver a hard elbow to her opponent’s lower gut.

Ivy felt good about her Double Toed Leglock, because Camile's response showed that she was clearly was unfamiliar with the hold. The brunette tried desperately trying to swing her arms up behind her back to strike Ivy. But trying to reach an opponent who was past her knees, Camile simply wouldn't have the reach to do what she wanted. All Camile was really doing was presenting her arms for Ivy to reach forward and grab.

An opportunity that Ivy would gladly take, of course. Catching Camile by the wrists, Ivy would pull the Frenchwoman's arms back. Stretching her shoulders and bending her back. It was like adding on a Surfboard Stretch to the hold she already had locked in. Probably not as painful as a Surfboard stretch performed with a foot in her opponent's back, but still good for controlling all four of Camille's limbs.
