The Paragon Ryan Knight was awaiting in his locker room for another match tonight, the lad was intent on giving his all for it as he so often did. Ryan was very much grateful for the opportunity as it seemed that ever since he had that fateful bout with Keira it seemed that he was getting more in demand, thus letting him have the chance to show his skill in the ring as his clan would no doubt insist upon! He was told he was fighting Naomi Nogami for this match, that name struck a chord in Ryan. Enough so that his heart beat strongly as he stretched on the bench, this match wasn't going to be easy to say the least if he was fighting the likes of her.

What better way to show how much he had progressed since arriving in LAW than facing the likes of Nogami? Ryan grinned, a rare one at the thought. He heard the knock on the locker door and it was go time! The Paragon strode out in his classic wrestling attire. Black leggings with 'Paragon' written in white letters down the right side and union jack patterned boots and his clan's red and black faux fur cloak on.

The Knight's entrance music known as Confrontation would blare from the speakers as he strode out and down the entrance ramp, as usual the crowd were neutral towards him. He simply remained focused and forward on the match at hand and once he got into the ring Ryan flung his cloak on the iron post of his corner and waited, calmly and composed but inside he was eager to begin.......

Another day, another match. This time, she’d be facing a guy named Ryan Knight. She had no problem fighting a man, and this sounded like it was going to be interesting. Although she’d won the crowd’s affection after her match with Emily, the specter of her heel past still lingered in the audience’s memory. Ana, Casval, and Mako advised her to use her feminine charm more in her matches; that way, she could win over the fans regardless of her past. She agreed. After all, she had no plans to get involved in more risqué matches.

Then she got the signal to go out; her opponent was already in the ring, and she headed out for her match that night. To the music that defined her, she began walking down the ramp; the boos were fewer but still audible amid the applause and cheers for the veteran. For her part, she raised her hands to wave to her fans in the crowd until she reached the ring, stepped over the ropes to enter, and finally struck a glorious pose so the audience could take photos of her.

Then she saw her opponent: a blond man who was 10 centimeters taller than her but wore an eye patch over one eye. The Amazon thought it might be decorative, but that would be impractical in a match. She approached him, offered her hand, and said, “Hi, I’m Naomi. I hope we have a good match,” waiting for him to respond as a sign of good sportsmanship and that a great showdown was coming.

Ryan kept himself steady in his corner making sure to remain as composed as best he could. But truth be told he was a bundle of excitement, nerves and passion. Ryan often keep a cool head. He needed to do his pre match ritual soon. But he'd wait till the very last moment for that, because Ryan wanted to savour this moment. The time where he'd fight Naomi and take one of his dream bouts off his list, Ryan stood there and didn't move as he let her have her moment in the spotlight and even from here......wow, she still had that champion level frame that shined in the light.

Naomi came over to him? He smiled, warmly actually which was rare for him in the ring and Ryan accepted it. He then said in his smooth yet deep tone "Of course. Ryan Knight at your service, if I may.....I watched your matches growning up and I'm pleased to see your in just as peak shape as back then. Please give me the honor of a great fight....." as he nodded to her and let her go to her corner. It was pre match ritual time now for him.

Three deep breaths, then close his one eye. Now it was just him, his opponent and the wrestling ring. Nothing else besides pitch blackness. To let him focus entirely on the bout, once that bell rang Ryan walked boldy out and then into a short run as he attempted to clothesline Naomi out the gate!

The veteran had noticed something odd ever since she stepped into the ring; it was coming from her opponent, who seemed nervous. That was strange, considering his imposing, gentlemanly appearance and excellent physical condition. She caught him staring at her as she struck a pose for the cameras in the ring. I mean, she didn’t mind being admired, but coming from her opponent tonight, it struck her as odd.

And then came the bombshell. When she approached Ryan to shake his hand, he smiled and confessed that he used to watch her matches when he was a kid. This hit the warrior like a bucket of cold water in winter. I mean, she was known (even in her past as a heel) for getting along with her fans, but today she had to face one who admired her for her old persona. The friendly smile turned into one of discomfort. “Of course… Ryan… heh heh heh… it’s going to be an honor to have this match,” she said, not knowing what to do in this kind of situation.

Naomi’s mind was in turmoil, unsure of how to react to this emotional dilemma, so much so that she didn’t even notice the bell ringing while she was in her corner. Nor did she notice the gentleman lunging at her with a clothesline, slamming her into the corner barely a moment after the match began.

Truth be told Ryan hadn't followed Naomi after she had fallen off the wrestling grid and also when he took up his own career in following in Florence's footsteps, but those matches of Naomi held up still in his mind. This wouldn't be easy by far, however Ryan had been on a roll in improving himself in the eyes of LAW and Ryan was primed to make a good impression to Naomi in this bout. However ironically enough Naomi seemed to be a little starstruck herself, perhaps it was Ryan's muscular beauty that caught her off guard?

Still Ryan's hit found its mark and Naomi was sent flying towards the corner she came in from! Ryan himself paused for a couple of seconds, that was odd. But still perhaps she hadn't expected such boldness out of the Paragon? No matter, Ryan would press the advantage as a fighter in the ring ought to. He would bolt forward with his muscular frame attempting to leap into the air and splash Naomi in the corner, if she was staggering backwards then Ryan would move forward and use the space given!

Naomi was trying to process the situation and figure out how to handle it under these circumstances. And that’s really hard when a muscular blond guy slams you with all his might, sending you back into the corner with a clothesline. Now Naomi was trying to recover from that initial blow and the shock of having to face a fan from her villainous past, and now her fan could still keep attacking, taking advantage of the Amazon’s position after the first impact.

Now she had to figure out what to do because she saw the gentleman lunge toward her again, but this time, with at least a rough idea of what she needed to do, she would try to dodge the attack at the very last moment, causing Ryan to slam into the turnbuckle, and take the opportunity to land a few kicks on him to hurt him, forcing him to turn around so he’d be left sitting in the corner.

Well ready or not here came Ryan, he wasn't one to dilly dally much when it came to starting out a match in the ring. In his younger years he might have however nowadays he frequently adopted the approach his mother often took in the ring, which was to go full pelt from the get go and crush the opposition and Naomi was giving way to his advance and thus he attempted to crush the former heel in the corner from that which she came from. At least in theory. Still Naomi was clever it seemed and Ryan ended up tasting the turnbuckles!

The Paragon would give a loud grunt, he managed to tense his abs up at least on instinct and it blunted the impact. Still Ryan's ring mind told him he was in danger and he turned around and Naomi was on top of him already raining in some strikes on him! Again Ryan tensed his abs and got his arms up, Ryan was a tank and it'd just begun and thus the Paragon would try to fight his way out of the corner with some knife edge chop attacks!

The man charged at the woman at full speed, like a torpedo, but she managed to step aside just in time, causing him to crash into the corner of the ring. Naomi didn’t consider herself a fast wrestler, but she was surprised by how quickly she reacted on instinct in that moment. But now wasn’t the time to think. It was time to attack.

The warrior began delivering kicks to Ryan’s chest as soon as he turned around, aiming to weaken him and execute some kind of powerbomb. As she kicked, she noticed something: Ryan was a tank when it came to withstanding her blows, and he didn’t hesitate to respond before the silver-haired woman realized it, landing a karate strike to her legs in the middle of the attack, causing her to pause for a moment as she clutched her leg with one hand and quickly slapped her opponent across the face with the other.
