The LAW arena was bustling tonight, as the stage had been set for a long-awaited rematch. The arena lights had been filtered into red and green, and people were already placing bets. The last time these two combatants had fought, their intense battle had taken them outside of the ring, where they had brawled until they had mutually been disqualified-- and even then, the staff had to restrain them from continuing to tear into each other. To say there was no love lost between these two women would have been an understatement.

Tonight, there would be no count outs, so if the two of them ended up brawling at ringside, the match would simply continue on. Tonight, one of them would be emerging as a clear winner.

The lights shifted red, briefly, as the first of the combatants arrived.

With her theme song blaring rapidly behind her, Makie Akamatsu came striding into the arena, to the cheers of her fans. Smiling, she flashed her fans a V-sign, though there was a bit more seriousness to her entrance this time around. Gone was her usual lightheartedness: Makie seemed utterly focused this time, mentally ready for an intense match.

Sliding under the ropes, Makie hopped up to the middle rope and raised both her arms to the cheering crowd, before dropping down again and walking to the middle of the ring, focusing on the ring entrance. Makie had been training intensely ever since her first match with Peggy McIntyre, even going so far as to train under Tina Armstrong and Alaina Sanders. Although Peggy was roughly even to Makie in build and strength, Makie nonetheless hoped to put her lessons into practice tonight and walk away the winner. Either way, she was NOT going to let her redhead opponent get the better of her tonight...

Peggy was backstage in her green one piece swimsuit as she waited backstage. She wanted to beat Makie and stand tall. She remembered what Makie said about her last time. Peggy was not going to let any of that go. She was going to go out there and show everyone that she was good enough to win against this woman.

Before long her entrance music played and she got a small pop but not quite the cheers that Makie herself had. Peggy didn't care she was marching down the ramp waving her hands dismissively as fans who were booing or shouting some sort of body shaming insult at the strong, curvy woman with a mix of muscle and lower body softness. "You won't be laughing' when I slam little school girl on her ass will ya?!" She shouted to a few fans as she walked up the ring steps and climbed through the ropes.

Peggy couldn't wait for that bell because once it rang she was simply going to rush forward swinging away. She was going to open up by turning this battle into a pure brawl right out the gate!

Makie watched and waited tensely as Peggy made her way down the ramp. The curvy redhead was striding down like a woman on a mission, angrily bantering with some of the fans who were booing her. The crowd, at the very least, seemed to be on Makie's side tonight, she thought to herself, but Peggy seemed just as hyped for this match as she was, and just as angry.

So angry, in fact, that the moment Peggy crawled through the ropes, she came charging right at her! "What that--" Makie cried before she took a slugging punch to the cheek, snapping her head to the side and sending her crumpling to the mat before the bell had even rung! She shook her head, trying to clear away the cobwebs and roll back to her feet, but Peggy was already standing over her and already had a clear advantage...

The bell frantically rang and Peggy pulled Makie up by the hair and tried to slam her abdomen with knee strikes as she held her. "I ain't some joke or pushover lass..." Peggy said as she then attempted to hook both of Makie's arms and set her feet under her looking to lift and send Makie crashing to the mat with a double underhook suplex!

Peggy was on a warpath and she was trying to prove herself to herself as much as she was trying to prove herself to anyone else out in that crowd tonight. She wasn't going to let anyone stop her, she couldn't let anyone stop her. She had the pedal down and she was going to be going straight to the gas on this one tonight.

Makie gasped as she felt her hair being grabbed, finally hearing the bell ring above her. She instinctively grabbed for Peggy's wrists, and, for her troubles, took a hard knee to the midsection. "OOOOF!" she gasped, doubling over, her head leaning against Peggy's ample chest as she was left panting for air.

This, of course, left her right where Peggy wanted her: her arms trapped, Makie found herself being flipped head over heels and crashing hard on her back. "AAAGH!" she screamed. The match had just begun, and she was already in trouble thanks to Peggy's cheap tactics...

Peggy managed to send Makie down to the mat and she wasn't going to let up. Peggy quickly adjusted and rolled Makie over before sitting on her back and reaching her hands under Makie's chin to lock in a camel clutch! "I know you all think I'm just some flabby joke, but tonight I show ya what I can do!" Peggy said as she pulled back as hard as she could on Makie's chin trying to apply as much pressure as possible!

Makie groaned as she ended up on her back, one leg kicking weakly at the mat as she tried to roll over. Unfortunately for her, Peggy was already on her, shoving her over onto her front. In an instant, Makie felt her chin being wrenched back in a tight camel clutch! "AAAAGH!" she cried, her boots kicking at the mat as Peggy forced her upper body off the mat. She pawed at Peggy's wrists, trying to pry her opponent's grip loose in an effort to free herself, all too conscious of how Peggy was running roughshod over her in the first minute of the match...

Peggy was pulling back but felt Makie resisting and making the hold less effective. Peggy pulled back before letting go quickly and trying to shove Makie's face to the mat. The Irish woman stood up and pulled Makie up by the arm, stepping toward the ropes. Peggy was going to try to whip Makie to the ropes and set herself up to power slam Makie after she bounced off the ropes and came running back at the Irish grappler!

Makie's eyes were screwed shut as she tried to withstand the camel clutch as best she could. She pulled and twisted in desperation at Peggy's wrists, and felt the other girl's grip slowly loosen. Before she could try to wrench her way free completely, however, Peggy unceremoniously slammed her face-first into the mat! Makie cried out from the impact, stars exploding across her vision as she was sent rolling, clutching her face.

Peggy, though, was not done yet. Makie felt her arm being grabbed, and a second later she was being whipped across the ring. As she rebounded off the ropes, though, her instincts took over: ducking low, she tried to run past Peggy, before spinning around to nail her with a spin kick!

Peggy was ready to keep piling on but Makie had other ideas! Peggy was hammered by the kick her head whipping back as her body stumbled a few steps before collapsing to the mat like a tree that got cut down. Peggy crashed to the canvas and cradled her head in her arms, kicking the mat a couple times as she tried to piece together how her momentum had gotten stopped cold. This was not good and Peggy knew Makie with momentum was going to be tough.
