Celina threatened, she wasn't entirely sure she could do it successfully without her opponent breaking out but she figured that the threat in itself would probably end up being enough of a reason for Nix to worry

With a sharp, deliberate motion, she twisted her hips, using her core strength to shift her weight just enough to loosen Celina’s grip, if only slightly. It wasn’t much, but she felt it—the smallest give, the faintest crack in the control Celina had over her. Her arms strained against the hold, muscles burning as she fought to create just a bit more space, refusing to let herself settle into a losing position.

She began driving her elbow backward, again and again, aiming for Celina’s ribs. Each strike was short and tight, fueled more by desperation than leverage. It wasn’t enough to break the hold entirely—she knew that—but she wasn’t trying to end it in one motion. She just needed a reaction. A flinch. A shift in pressure. Anything.

And even if that opening didn’t come immediately, Nix trusted her endurance. She steadied her breathing as best she could, grounding herself in the struggle instead of panicking. This was a position she could survive in—for now. She would keep forcing Celina to work, keep making her adjust, keep draining her bit by bit until something gave. All Nix needed was a single moment—one mistake—and she’d take it.

Celina would end up making good on her threat, attempting to flip Nix over wanting to switch from the camel clutch to an armbar, hoping to attack her opponent's arm as much as possible, figuring that focusing in on one of Nix's limbs would be a good call

Her arms slipped loose as she rolled to the side, her movements fluid and deliberate. Without hesitation, Nix scrambled to her feet, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she glanced toward the ring. She didn’t waste a second—bolting toward the ropes, she vaulted herself back into the squared circle, putting distance between herself and Celina.

Her hands braced against the ropes as she caught her breath, her sharp eyes darting back toward Celina to assess her next move. Nix’s mind raced, her body aching but her focus unbroken. She needed this moment—a brief reprieve to recover and regroup—before diving back into the fray.

Celina would end up seeing Nix twist out of her grip, the submission transition was a failure.

"damnit, I was hoping that would work"

Celina would whisper to herself as she looked up, knowing that if Nix was in the ring this was an opportunity for her, Celina would immediately attempt to grab Nix's ankles, hoping to trip her before anything could happen, if successful then she would immediately follow up by jumping over the top rope and land on Nix's gut to pin her down

Nix’s eyes widened as she felt Celina’s hands clamp around her ankles like a vice. Her heart plummeted before her body did—she barely had time to process the trip before her feet slipped, sending her crashing onto the mat face-first. Her elbows instinctively braced against the impact, but the sudden jolt still rattled through her frame, leaving her momentarily dazed as she turned over to face up.

Before she could even gather her thoughts, the sound of boots hitting the apron echoed in her ears. Nix’s stomach lurched as she realized what was coming. She tried to scramble away, tried to roll out of harm’s reach, but it was too late.

Celina’s bodyweight came crashing down onto Nix’s midsection like a ton of bricks. The air was forced from her lungs in a brutal, guttural gasp, her ribs compressing under the force as pain exploded across her abdomen. Nix’s vision blurred, her body instinctively curling in on itself as she fought to draw breath through the agony.

Nix’s body twisted instinctively, her hips shifting as she tried to roll onto her side, attempting to dislodge Celina from her midsection. Every movement sent sharp jolts of pain through her ribs and chest, but she refused to stay pinned. With searing pain, she forced herself to move, attempting to create enough space to breathe. She wasn’t going to let herself be trapped here—not without a fight.

Celina would end up getting up off of Nix, grabbing her arms as she dragged Nix to the middle of the ring before flipping Nic onto her back and putting her into a Boston crab

"I said I'd change holds, and the last thing I would wanna be is a lier!"

The ref would run up to Nix, sliding in front of her as he asked her a very simple question

"give up?"

“NO!” Nix’s voice rang out, sharp and defiant.

Her body protested as the Boston crab locked her into place, her muscles straining against the painful stretch across her back and legs. Her hands clawed at the mat, her fingers digging into the canvas for any semblance of leverage. The pain in her lower back was sharp and unrelenting, but she refused to let it break her.

With a surge of determination, Nix twisted her torso slightly, her arms reaching desperately for Celina’s shins. Her fingers brushed against the fabric of Celina’s boots, and she latched on with a white-knuckled grip. Using every ounce of strength she had left, Nix pulled with everything she could muster, her arms trembling with the effort. She wasn’t trying to overpower Celina entirely—she just needed to disrupt her balance, to create enough instability to break free. Her mind raced, her focus narrowing to the task at hand as she yanked harder, hoping to trip Celina up and force her off balance.

Celina would grunt before attempting to turning herself around, attempting to turn her Boston crab into a camel clutch, pulling Nix's head to an unnatural angle as she pulled up Nix's arms, hoping to make them useless for an escape attempt

Nix’s body ached as Celina twisted her into the camel clutch again, her body bending unnaturally under the pressure. Once again, her arms were pinned awkwardly behind her knees, leaving her with little leverage to fight back. Frustration coiled tight in her chest, mixing with the ache coursing through her body.

Her mind raced, searching for an escape, but every attempt felt futile. She couldn’t twist free like she had before; Celina’s grip was too solid, her weight too firmly planted. Nix’s muscles burned as she strained against the hold, her fingers clawing at nothing, her legs kicking weakly against the mat. The pain was unrelenting, the pressure crushing, as Nix felt her strength slowly begin to fade.
