Peggy McIntyre vs. Diago

Peggy was backstage and pleased to be getting herself into more matches lately... but she needed to get herself on track. While she and Lauren had done better as a tag team they both have had lackluster records solo lately. That was gonna change tonight. Lauren was at a fan function and Peggy was flying totally solo tonight but that suited her just fine. She was gonna win one on her own or so she kept telling herself. She was wrestling a male but she wasn't going to be daunted by that fact. Clad in her green one piece swimsuit, gold knee pads and green boots she was walking through the hallway towards the ring.

Before she knew it her music played and the strong Irish woman with fair muscle and also a fair bit of curvy softness made her way to the ring. She flexed her biceps and pointed to the crowd who gave her a fairly positive reaction. She and Lauren were gaining traction with the crowd at least recently.

Peggy walked up the ring steps and climbed through the ropes to enter the ring, bouncing up and down on her feet in her own corner as she waited for the arrival of Diago, ready to show him what a determined woman could do in the ring.

Today was Daigo’s debut; he was set to face a woman named Peggy, a veteran of the industry. That didn’t matter to good old Daigo. The giant had never had any trouble fighting either men or women. As he changed and prepared for tonight’s fight, this time he was going to make his entrance alone; his teammates weren’t there today, and because Ana told him it would help his “bad boy” image, he reluctantly agreed. When he finished getting ready, he headed out to the ring for tonight’s match.

As he walked out onto the ramp, his theme song began to play while he flashed his confident smile as he made his way toward the ring, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd. Once he reached the ring, he stepped through the ropes to enter it and face his opponent for the night, Peggy McIntyre. The black-haired man said, "Hello, miss. I hope we have a worthy match," without hiding the fact that he found his rival attractive.

Peggy watched Diago make his way to the ring and was focused entirely on him. She was getting ready in her mind, thinking of how she was going to take him down.

As he came in the ring and spoke Peggy nodded to him. His demeanor was quite a nice surprise. "Aye, we'll have us a good match big guy." She said as she looked focused while she replied. She wasn't against being nice but she also really wanted... no, needed to win. She was going to go all out once that bell rang.

DING DING DING

As soon as Peggy heard that she rushed right at Diago and moved as quickly as she could extending her arm as she attempted to open the match with a big clothesline!

It was his debut in L.A.W., and he was facing a pretty woman. Daigo couldn’t have been happier today. The woman nodded in agreement and wished him a good match. Daigo nodded back with a smile and went to his corner to wait for the bell. He felt lucky today, but he didn’t think this fight was going to be a walk in the park. After all, she was a veteran of the industry, and he would have to use everything he knew.

DING DING DING

They faced each other, both determined to win this match. They quickly charged at their opponent at full speed. Daigo wanted to start with a test of strength, but Peggy wanted to hit him with a big clothesline. Luckily for the human behemoth, he managed to dodge it at the last minute by ducking his head, before turning around to face his opponent and attempt a spear against her

Peggy was in utter shock how the much larger male managed to easily dodge her attack. Before she could turn around he also speared her to the mat! The much bigger man was able to send her down to the mat in a heap without any trouble. Peggy crashed down and groaned in pain trying to push Diago off of her so she could attempt to rise to her feet.

It was a surprise even to Daigo himself that he managed to dodge that attack just in time, despite his size. It was quite possibly because he always keeps a hunched stance, which helped him this time, but this wasn’t the time to count his blessings. It was time to attack, so he executed a spear, taking advantage of his greater size and weight, hitting his target before Peggy even realized he’d attacked her.

Then, the Irishwoman tried to shake him off due to his weight. The behemoth quickly knew what he had to do: while his opponent tried to recover, he would attempt a risky fisherman’s suplex so as not to lose the momentum of the fight and his initial advantage in the match.

Peggy was getting up when Diago grabbed hold of her and lift her up, sending her crashing to the mat yet again with a fisherman suplex! She groaned and was laid out, flat on her back and kicking the mat after the painful landing. It seemed like she was going to be struggling to find an opening to fight back at all as her start to the match was abysmal.

Things were going great for Daigo; he started off strong, demonstrating his power right from the start with a powerful fisherman’s suplex. He reaffirmed it once again, lifting her into the air as if it were nothing and leaving the Irishwoman lying on her back, dazed by the impact. Yep, everything was going smoothly for the behemoth.

Now, the black-haired man was getting back to his feet after that suplex. He had his opponent lying on the mat in front of him, while he remained unscathed, so he decided to close in on her and deliver a straight elbow to his opponent’s stomach to maintain his advantage in the match and give her no respite with his offensive.

Peggy was on the mat and in pain while Diago stood next to her and began to fall down towards her. She wasn't about to let that happen. She rolled hard to the side, letting him fall down straight to the canvas as she got clear of the elbow drop. Peggy staggered up to her feet and shook her head. She was done being some sort of punching bag in this match. She would jump up and extend her legs aiming a dropkick at Diago's chest looking to knock him down to the mat for the first time in this match.

As they say, what goes up must come down. Daigo was dominating the fight against Peggy, landing devastating blows on his opponent, and he had no intention of stopping. Now he was preparing to deliver an elbow to the stomach of the Amazon. But what he didn’t count on was that the Irishwoman wasn’t going to stand idly by and take every blow the behemoth had planned. So when Daigo lunged to strike her again, she moved to the side, causing her own opponent to injure himself.

If there’s one thing worse than getting hit by an opponent in the ring, it’s injuring yourself. When his elbow slammed down with full force, he felt an electric jolt shoot through his entire arm. He’d likely hit a nerve against the canvas. This, combined with the impact, caused the black-haired man to writhe in pain, while his opponent got back up with no intention of taking any more damage or serving as Daigo’s punching bag. So, while his burly opponent was trying to recover, he delivered a flying kick to Daigo’s chest, sending him crashing to the ground in agony as he struggled to get back up. Having already taken a hit from his opponent, he knew immediately that this wasn’t going to be an easy fight.
