Voltage Vixens - Lyssa Watts vs. Juno Bailey

Post by HotWheels »

Shock Collar Match
Two boxes are placed at ringside - one with a shock collar, one with the control to activate the collar. The competitor who first collars and shocks their opponent wins.

The backstage area hummed with the usual pre-show chaos - wrestlers stretching, crew members shouting into headsets, the distant roar of the crowd bleeding through the walls. Juno sat on a equipment crate in the gorilla position, one leg bouncing restlessly as she retaped her right wrist for the third time. Not because it needed it, but because her hands needed something to do to battle with the excitement and nerves that coursed through her veins until the chaos made her eyes flare.

She'd heard enough about Lyssa Watts to know that she was part of the show, tonight, beyond even the stipulation. Kind of wrestled like she enjoyed breaking people. Which, to be fair, she probably did. Juno couldn't exactly judge - she'd signed up for this match specifically because it pushed the boundaries of thrills and sanity.

Brooklyn had given her the look when she'd mentioned it. That particular blend of concern and exasperation that said "I know I can't stop you, but I want it on record that this is stupid." Juno had just grinned and said something about how the voltage wouldn't be that bad. Famous last words, probably.

She stood up, shaking out her limbs and rolling her neck until it popped. The lightning-patterned gear clung to her frame like a second skin, the blue and yellow practically glowing under the harsh backstage lights. She caught her reflection in a nearby monitor and paused, turning slightly to check herself from different angles. The sports top hugged her chest, the bottoms sat perfectly on her hips, and the overall effect was exactly what she wanted: electric, dangerous, ready to put on a show.

A stagehand with a headset appeared beside her. "You're up in thirty seconds."

"That long?" Juno replied, flashing him a grin that was probably a little too manic.

She moved to the curtain, pressing her palms against the cool metal of the equipment rack beside it. Her pulse kicked up another notch - that beautiful anticipation of finally doing something that made her tingle all over thinking about how it could go. She'd either win and have that thrill or... well, she'd been shocked by much worse before. Of course, it was less the collar that filled her head as a part of the alternative, but what the match would entail that would lead to one of the two of them getting that treatment.

Her music exploded through the sound system, and Juno exploded just as wildly through the curtain. A wild grin splitting her face as the stage lights hit her. She paused at the top of the ramp, soaking in the split reaction from the crowd - cheers, wolf whistles, all of it sending adrenaline crashing through her veins. She brought one arm up to flex her bicep, turning slightly to show off the definition in her arm before pointing finger guns at the nearest camera. "Hope you're ready for a shock to the system!" she called out, her voice barely audible over the music but her energy unmistakable.

Then she was moving, bounding down the ramp with infectious enthusiasm. She high-fived outstretched hands on both sides, never breaking stride, her blonde hair whipping behind her in a cascade of loose waves and tight braids. Halfway down, she paused to strike a pose for a fan's camera phone - one hand on her hip, the other making a peace sign, lips pursed in an exaggerated kissy face - before continuing her charge toward the ring.

At ringside, she hopped onto the apron in one smooth motion, grabbing the top rope. Instead of immediately vaulting over, she paused, turning to face the crowd with a theatrical flourish. She ran one hand slowly through her hair, sweeping it back from her face, then grabbed the bottom of her crop top and gave it a teasing adjustment - not revealing anything, just drawing attention to what was already on display. The wolf whistles intensified.

Yeah, she could get used to that.

With a wink to the hard camera, she launched herself over the top rope, landing in the center of the ring with catlike grace. She immediately went into another flex, this time a double bicep pose that showed off her arms and the toned definition of her abs. She dropped the pose and rolled her shoulders, bouncing on the balls of her feet as her eyes flicked to the two lockboxes positioned at opposite corners. One contained the collar. One contained the remote. And somewhere backstage, Lyssa Watts was probably finishing her own prep.

She moved to the ropes facing the entrance ramp, draping her arms casually over the top rope as her music began to fade. The grin never left her face, but her green eyes sharpened with predatory focus. Who was this Lyssa Watts, then, and why was Juno's imagination already getting the better of her as she thought about what they were about to try to do to each other?

This was a big moment for Lyssa. She’d always wanted a shock collar as part of her toolbox and now the league were practically giftwrapping one for her! Of course, there was the small matter of actually winning the match first. On this, she was quietly confident, although she knew better than to underestimate her opponent too much.

She’d never actually met Juno face-to-face. This feud of the ‘Voltage Vixens’ was a largely confected one – LAW’s eager journos had noticed the similarity between the two wrestlers, and had asked pointed questions in promos, obviously aiming to prod the women into a fight. Lyssa had almost been joking when she had suggested the rather savage stipulation, and it was a surprise that Juno had accepted it. Whether or not that made her brave, ambitious, or just plain stupid… well, that remained to be seen.

Lyssa had secured a favoured dressing room near the entrance, and when she saw Juno on the monitors, she knew that it was go time. She gave herself a final look-over in the mirror, and marched toward the arena with a grin. Glancing through the curtain, she could see Juno excitedly posing for the crowd, stirring them up. She’s hot, and she knows it, mused Lyssa, already priming herself to look for weaknesses to exploit. This was a match that neither girl could afford to lose.

Finally, her call came through, and Lyssa felt a rush of excitement, striding quickly and confidently onto the entrance ramp, as her guitar music blazed. She always cut a striking figure, as far as first appearances went – her sleek, electric-blue hair (and matching nails) saw to that. Her short black vest top and denim shorts left much of her pale, athletic figure on display. Black boots, wraps and choker gave her a slightly rougher look than you might expect from an impish middleweight, with her darkly lined eyes and wolfish smile hinting at a domineering streak, once you looked closely enough.

Briskly making her way to the ring, she held out her arms in knowingly arrogant self-adulation. This was going to be her fucking night. Largely dismissive of the crowd, Lyssa did pause when she saw the same fan that had snapped Juno’s pose, reaching desperately over the barrier for another pic. Lyssa stopped briefly, only to snarl mockingly and flick them two V signs, telling them in her own British way to fuck off.

Cackling to herself as the crowd noise intensified at her cheap heat, Lyssa skipped up the steps and nimbly spun sideways through the middle and upper ropes. Energised by the prospect of this scrap, she bounced on her feet, surveying the ring with a proprietorial air, before fixing her eyes on Juno’s corner.

She is hot, Lyssa purred to herself, as she took in the abs, the curves, and the sparkle of the blonde in front of her. The smile that Lyssa flashed her opponent across the ring was genuine.

“This should be fun,” she drawled. “I’ve been itching to get my hands on a new toy to play with!” she smirked, as her eyes went from the shock collar boxes, back to Juno, making it clear that she was talking about both.

Maybe Juno should have been more apprehensive about a match with these sorts of rules. Brooklyn's voice echoed in her head, listing all the ways this could go sideways, all the reasons this qualified as monumentally stupid. And Juno could acknowledge that. She also knew that stupid made for good fun and good spectacle, and-

Ah, well, if this whole thing was stupid and reckless, Juno's reaction to her opponent's look probably made it all worse for her.

Lyssa's music hit, and the woman nearly drew a whistle from the blonde. Electric blue hair. Black vest and denim shorts that showed off a compact, athletic frame. Pale skin, dark-lined eyes, grinning. Lyssa Watts strutted down the ramp with the kind of arrogant confidence that Juno found magnetic. She knew herself well enough to recognize the signs. The hairstyle and vivid color she could never pull off herself, but had always liked. The attitude, the presentation, the whole punk-rock energy that radiated off Lyssa in waves did it for her, too. She watched, completely unabashed in her staring, the little wise voice growing quieter and quieter in her head.

Juno started her stretches, dropping into semi-squats to loosen her powerful thighs, swinging her arms in wide circles, adjusting her top to make sure nothing was going to make an unplanned appearance mid-match - not that she cared that much. But her eyes never left Lyssa as the blue-haired woman skipped up the steps and spun through the ropes with practiced ease. And stating her plans with even more practiced ease. Juno felt her grin widen despite herself. She planted her hands on her hips, cocked one leg out, looked as confident as she felt.

"Hate to break it to you, toots," Juno called back, her voice carrying across the ring with her trademark flirtatious edge, "but toys don't usually fight back. Or snap collars onto people's necks when they're threatened." She shrugged, letting the movement emphasize the curve of her shoulders and the definition in her arms. "Yours looks like a good fit!"

The referee stepped into the center of the ring, droning through the match requirements - collar your opponent, secure the remote, use it to force a submission - but Juno barely heard the words. She finished her stretching with a few final bounces on the balls of her feet, testing her range of motion, then turned to wave at the crowd. They ate it up, the noise swelling as she blew a theatrical kiss to the hard camera.

She turned back toward the center of the ring, rolling her neck one last time before dropping into her fighting stance. Feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, hands up and ready. Her green eyes locked onto Lyssa's across the mat, and despite every logical cell in her brain screaming that this was a bad idea, Juno felt nothing but electric anticipation crackling through her veins.

"Let's do this, sweetheart."

Lyssa’s self-satisfied smile grew a little broader as she looked Juno over, sending the blonde’s wide-eyed appreciation of her entrance. This was good news, as far as Lyssa was concerned; it was always easier to get your claws in someone, when they were already in a receptive mood. She slowly, slyly sauntered out of her corner, as the ref went over the stipulations, never taking her eyes off her opponent, though she subconsciously scratched her collar as Juno mentioned her apparel.

“Aww, I don’t mind if the toys fight back,” Lyssa called back, somewhat mockingly adopting a sickly-sweet tone. “Always more fun when they squirm,” she cackled with relish.

Her eyes narrowed a little as she began to circle, hungrily awaiting the onset of hostilities.

“Though I have to say,” she followed up, her voice a little firmer, “if you call me ‘toots’ again, I will make you regret it.”

She could tell Juno was twitchy, and eager to get to grappling. Lyssa, too, was clearly psyched up, slipping in some quick stretches as she half-paced, half-skipped in a meandering approach on her opponent, coming up to a stop in the centre of the ring.

Lyssa licked her lips as Juno worked the crowd. The blunette remained focused on her prey, as they waited for the bell…

Let’s do this? Okay...

...which Lyssa got the jump on, launching herself forwards at Juno, before the match had even started, trying to grab her in a collar-and-elbow lockup with the element of surprise, and hoping her momentum would let her bully Juno back towards her corner.

The bell belatedly rang a few seconds after the wrestlers came together, as the ref tried to impose a semblance of order on Lyssa's utter lack of impulse control.

Juno's grin somehow widened even further when Lyssa issued her warning about the word "toots." That firmer tone, the narrowed eyes, the way the blue-haired woman had unconsciously scratched at her collar when Juno mentioned the one she planned to use on her - all of it struck chords that Juno probably shouldn't have been paying attention to mid-match setup. But she couldn't help herself. The "squirming" comment, that predatory circling, the whole dangerous vibe radiating off Lyssa - it all kept Juno engaged in exactly the wrong ways.

Or the right ways, depending on the perspective.

"Don't worry, toots," Juno called back with exaggerated sweetness, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "It's a term of endearment. One used by the naughty 'toys.'"

But before Juno could add more, Lyssa launched.

The blue-haired woman came at her like a missile before the bell even rang, arms reaching for the collar-and-elbow lockup. Thank God Juno had been paying attention, amped up and ready, because otherwise she'd have been bulldozed straight back into the corner. As it was, the first impact of their bodies colliding sent a jolt through her frame, Lyssa's momentum forcing her back a step, then another, then another.

The bell rang belatedly, the ref shouting something - who cared?

Juno's boots scraped against the canvas as she fought for purchase, her legs bending as she absorbed the force of Lyssa's charge. But she got her feet under her, planting them wide and low, and suddenly they were locked together - collar-and-elbow, face to face, close enough that Juno could see the dark liner around Lyssa's eyes.

Her grin flashed sharp and wild as she leaned back in. Her turn.

Juno summoned every ounce of power in her fresh body. Her thighs flexed hard, the muscle definition visible even through the exertion as she drove upward from her stance. Her calves bulged as she pushed off the balls of her feet, her abs tightened into ridged bands as her core engaged, and her shoulders and arms corded with tension as she poured strength into the shove. She drove into Lyssa with everything she had, trying to reverse the momentum completely - to send the blue-haired woman stumbling backward, maybe even knock her off balance enough to put her ass on the canvas.

Lyssa was a woman of action, as demonstrated by her explosive start, launching herself at Juno in a blur of blue. Jumping the bell was a dirty trick, and it should have served her well… if her opponent hadn’t been similarly quick off the mark.

Proving that the live-wire billing was more than just a gimmick, Juno reacted with impressive speed, shaping up to meet Lyssa’s challenge straight away. The Brit still did well as she barrelled into her opponent, forcing her back a few steps… but Juno was well-placed to ride it out, and make her superior muscle show.

Now a momentum-free Lyssa was locked in a collar-and-elbow with a stronger, heavier, curvier opponent.

“Shit,” Lyssa hissed. Her eyes met Juno’s, and she saw the flicker of satisfaction in those mischievous green eyes, as she tensed, and then surged forwards.

The blonde’s shove was well-timed, and well-placed. Lyssa, who had been scrambling for purchase just to keep level with her foe, felt herself being pushed back sharply. With dismay, she lost her footing, her lithe limbs flailing somewhat foolishly before she was knocked somewhat heavily onto her ass, with a ring-shaking thud.

“Unghh!!” Lyssa winced as she bounced into a sitting position. She shuddered and clutched the small of her back, as a wave of pain rumbled up her spine. In truth, the embarrassment stung more than the fall, as the self-styled ‘naughty toy’ scored the first blow, but she was still a little dazed from her disheartening start. Wincing, she would take a second to recover, before trying to scrabble back up to her feet.
