Alaina shook her head, sweat flying everywhere. "I have a timer, I know we need to be tired and work on pushing through." Alaina said before gasping for breath before she could speak again. "Once it..."

BEEP BEEP BEEP! BEEP BEEP BEEP!

Alaina immediately slowed to a stop and stood with her hands on her head drawing deep breaths. "All right. Now we stop and have to try to catch our breath a second before we see just how strong we are when we are gassed." Alaina said. She got down to her hands and knees and got ready for the next step. "Okay now we do pushups. No set number, no rush. Just do as many as you can until failure." Alaina said. "I am doing them with you so we both go at the same time. Once we finish this I have a 150lbs dummy and a 175lbs dummy that we will both be slamming around." Alaina said.

"For now though..." The amazon began as she got in position for pushups. "Go!"

Sakura was getting her anwser from Alaina a the two continued to run non stop against the ropes and she'd nod as she dased, even though the older woman couldn't technically see it. "Right ok so-" Sakura started to say until being cut off along with Alaina by the beeping of her timer.

Skidding to a stop she would turn and look at Alaina, breathing with some light difficulty with a layer of sweat gracing her skin while Alaina explained their next objective. Push ups, no set limit, just until another timer went off.

"Alright seems simple enough." Sakura said as she too got on her hands and knees and into position for the next exercise. "On it!" Sakura said with determination filling her voice as she began to do push ups along with Alaina!

Alaina was bobbing up and down with each rep, and Sakura was doing the same with perfect form. "Good, you never tired out do ya? I knew you were tough but you got power too. I may be biased but a lady with power who hits hard and slams is a lady I respect." Alaina said with a smile. "So how long have you been in the ring and what made ya want to make the transition to wrestling?" Alaina asks as she does pushups while trying to hide how tired she is pressing on. Her arms start to shake a bit but the amazon pushes through, in part to stick with Sakura, in part to defy her age and nagging doubts she has had since both turning 50 as well as losing her title.

Sakura huffed softly as she pushed up and down but smiled softly at Alaina's praise. "Oh no... I'm definitely feeling it... I'm just good at pushing through.. and thank you... really you have no idea what it means to hear you say that about me." Sakura said in between gasps of air as she spoke, her own arms admittedly shaking slightly while sweat continued to pour off of her in droves. As Alaina asked her about her time in wrestling and what first made her step between the ropes.

"Well... Im not great at keeping track but I want to say like... four... five years? It all started when one of my co stars was beaten up by a wrestler during a photo shoot... I stepped in to defend her and then the honor of my group... and it kinda spiralled from there... Especially since I got a taste for the competition and energy that comes from being in the ring." Sakura explained as she kept going up and doing, giving an abridged version as a result due to the exertion.

Alaina smiled as Sakura mentioned stepping in at a photo shoot to defend her people. "Whoa, I never thought someone would stoop that low to mess with non-wrestlers in a photo shoot. That is insane but it is great that you stepped up. You've turned into quite a wrestler I'd say." Alaina said. She left the ring and came back shoving in a 150lbs and 175lbs dummy each into the ring. "Okay you take the 150lbs and I will take the 175lbs dummy. We are gonna just lift them up and slam them down repeatedly as many times as we can in three minutes. The goal again is constant motion and even if you slow down keep yourself moving and making progress. The dummy is dead weight so it may seem easy early but it gets tough." Alaina said with a grin as she stood in front of her dummy on the mat.

"All right Sakura, ready? Go!" Alaina said as she bent down, pulling the 175lbs dummy up and lifting it over her shoulder to slam it down! She was in motion immediately and grabbed the dummy to deadlift it back up to slam it again! The process was beginning...

Sakura smiled a bit sheepishly at Alaina's words and waved off what she said about Rio. "Hehe it's all ancient history, in fact I couldn't have asked for it to go any other way and... thank you Alaina. That means a lot coming from you." Sakura said sweetly with a nod before focusing up as Alaina exited the ring and dragged in two heavy looking bags into the ring. "Oh my..." Sakura said aloud without even realizing as Alaina then got back into the ring and began explaining what they would be doing next.

"I see... So a contest of stamina and strength." Sakura said knowing this would probably be one of the things she'd have the most trouble with. "Lets do this!" She'd end up saying all the same refusing to back down as she approached, waiting for Alaina's signal before reaching down and grabbing the bag to lift up and slam before immediately going for a second but out the gate it was clear that she was a bit slower than Alaina.

Alaina was slamming her dummy and picking it up, trying to keep up speed but even for her after a few repetitions things did slow down a bit. "This is the same as before. What is important is pushing through and not stopping. We all slow down, but pushing through is the key. We all get gassed in the ring, knowing how to handle that is the difference between a raised hand or looking up at the lights sometimes." Alaina said as she slammed the dummy again, bending down to haul it back up to standing before adjusting her grip to lift and slam.

"I know you have a big gas tank. Keep it up Sakura. It isn't a race, this is just you showing yourself what you can do when your brain pushes past the exhausting your body is telling it." Alaina added as she watched Sakura.

Sakura was actively grunting now as she repeatedly picked up the dummy before dropping it back down again, the effort really wearing down on her now, especially her arms which were getting more and more sore with each lift of the dummy. Despite that however Sakura was doing her best to push through and keep going to match Alaina, even if in just holding out till the end cause she knew for a fact she wasn't matching the older woman in terms of speed of lifting and slamming the dummy. "Right... I'm doing my best!" Sakura yelled out as she lifted up the dummy before dropping it back down again.

The ring was shaking with each slam as Alaina was covered in sweat by this point. "You are still slamming hard Sakura! I feel that ring shaking!" Alaina said encouraging Sakura as the amazon herself was a bit wobbly after all these repetitions. She was breathing heavily and she knew that the end of this was coming soon. "All right twenty seconds to go..." Alaina said as she glanced at the clock.

Sakura really did impress Alaina with what she had as that dummy smashed the mat with Sakura's body tensing, muscles flexing as Alaina saw a well oiled machine fighting through the fatigue. At least that was her impression. Alaina sent her dummy down hard and then as the buzzer went off Alaina sent the dummy down one last time.

"Okay... one minute of rest then we're gonna clasp hands and have us a fun old fashioned test of strength." Alaina said as she gasped for breath with her hands on her hips. "We try to force the other womans arms down, then power her to her knees." She added, still breathing heavily clearly gassed from the last dummy slamming barrage.

Sakura huffed and panted, the exertion of this exercise really getting to her as spots now danced in her vision and her limbs screamed in protest at having to continuously lift and throw the dummy. Yet despite the pain and exertion Sakura kept at it, refusing to disappoint Alaina! 'Just... a... little... more!' Sakura thought to herself as she flung the dummy just in time as the timer went off.

"Hagh...... thank goodness." Sakura breathed out in relief, sinking to her knees and panting from the effort while Alaina explained what they were doing next, but more importantly made clear they would have a break first. "Understood... ma'am..." Sakura breathed out, trying to get control of her breathing as well as trying to ignore the way her muscles ached in preparation for the next activity.
