Marzia Servelli vs. Chigusa Yuuki

It seemed like no matter how Marzia tried to get the better of her opponent, Chigusa still had a way to turn the situation to her favor, navigating the Italian girl into yet another hold. As she felt her arm pulled backwards no sooner than she had gotten her face released, Marzia winced and grimaced from the pain, trying to hold back tears from forming in her eyes. She didn't know how long she could keep going like this - and she didn't want to stay to find out.

Trying to get Chigusa to release her hold would just be taking chances, and Marzia wasn't interested in that. She knew that she would have to get out of the spot she was in some way or another. She could just see the ropes ahead of her, and she thought that if she pushed her luck she might beb able to make it to a rope break. But it was just barely out of her reach. Struggling to resist the pain on her arm, the Italian tried to pull herself closer to the ropes by dragging herself across the mat as she bit down harder on her lip, all the while hoping that her ploy wasn't so obvious as to alert Chigusa to go even harder on her. If she managed to get close enough, Marzia would reach out to the ropes with her one shaky free hand. Even if she just barely managed to graze it with her fingertips, that would be enough.

Chigusa would keep applying pressure in the Fujiwara armbar on Marzia, focusing on her shoulder joint. Still, Marzia didn't seem to be giving up as she kept resisting the pain while dragging herself towards the ropes. Knowing that a rope break was inevitable, Chigusa would keep wrenching that arm of hers and would not let go until Marzia finally reached the ropes.

Seeing that Marzia finally secured herself a rope break, Chigusa let go of Marzia's arm as she would get up, stepping away from her. Hopefully, all those submission holds had weakened her sufficiently, giving the former Wrestle Angel enough opportunity to gain leverage over her later. She would stand a distance away from the Italian girl, waiting for her to get back up and get herself back into action.

Although Marzia would eventually be able to use the ropes to end her torment, Chigusa wasn't going to make it very easy for her, pulling back still more on her shoulder. Even as she managed to brush her fingers against the rope, she let out a groan of pain through her teeth, her face tense and straining to try and resist the pain.

Chigusa finally let her go, and as soon as the pressure was released, Marzia fell limp against the ropes, panting hard to try and collect her breath, let alone her strength. Chigusa certainly knew her way around several holds, Marzia thought - she didn't want to get too close to her, lest she got the opportunity to put that on her again. The Italian girl slowly rose to her full height and turned around to face her opponent, rubbing her arm to try and numb the residual pain she still felt. But she grit her teeth and looked back at the ex-Wrestle Angel's direction, readying herself for their next clash. Slowly, Marzia started to advance on Chigusa, circling her as she waited for the right opportunity to strike.

Waiting for Marzia to get back onto her feet after getting a rope break, Chigusa would look at her opponent's direction, considering her next options. She could either close in to grapple with her again, or close in to deliver a strike. Once Marzia was on her feet, Chigusa would head over to her, increasing her speed as she would close in before she attempted to grab the Italian girl by her head, keeping her in place so that she could deliver a forearm smash right into the side of her face!

Hoping that the forearm smash would stun and disorient her opponent, Chigusa planned to spin Marzia around so that her back would be facing her. From there, she would try wrapping her arms around Marzia's waist from behind, hoping that she would be able to hoist her up and throw her over her head, slamming her behind with a German suplex!

Once again, though, Marzia wasn't quite fast enough, and Chigusa got back within range to grab a hold of her head. The Italian girl tried to parry it with a palm strike back at Chigusa, but it wouldn't slow the former Wrestle Angel down before she sent her forearm smashing straight into Marzia's temple. She went staggering to the side as she let out a loud squeal of pain, a shock rushing through her body. She could hardly think straight, dizzied by the impact, and holding her hands up to her face to protect against further attacks, Marzia wasn't in much of a spot to see what was going on around her either.

As such, Chigusa wouldn't have any trouble spinning her around. Before Marzia even knew what had hit her, she was already going sailing back through the air as her opponent slung her into a German Suplex. It was the loud thud as her head hit the mat that shook Marzia back to reality, as she slumped to her back with a low groan. This was bad, Marzia thought. Chigusa didn't seem to have any reservations about bringing the hard-hitting moves, and no matter how hard Marzia tried it seemed like she couldn't get a hit in edgewise. She refused to be pushed around like this! As soon as she got the opportunity, Marzia knew, she would have something to say of her own. Mostly with fists.

Throwing Marzia behind with the German suplex, Chigusa released her before she got herself on her knees to look at her opponent. Knowing that she currently held the advantage over the Italian girl, the green-clad wrestler would then get herself on her feet as she would grab Marzia by her head, pulling her up as well. She would bring Marzia back on her feet, getting her to stand back up so that she could perform her next move as she would move one hand between her legs and the other to her shoulder.

"Hyaaahhh!!!" Letting out a yell, Chigusa would try to lift Marzia up, displaying her strength to her opponent and the crowd as she would try to slam her down into the mat with a body slam. She wanted to weaken her opponent first in order to make it easier for her to crush her defense later. She needed to chip away at her guard, one throw at a time.

It looked like the torment wasn't quite over for Marzia, as soon after she landed head-first on the ground, Chigusa set up yet another move, scooping her up with an arm between her legs before driving her hard into the mat with a bodyslam. The impact jostled the Italian girl, who went buckling up from the mat with a scream as the air was knocked out of her. She was just lucky that Chigusa's own battle cry did well enough to disguise her cries of pain, or this would be even more embarrassing.

Panting a few times, Marzia balled a fist, digging her nails into her palm so that the pain would bring her back to her senses as she slowly picked herself up from the ground. It was about time she did something about this, because Chigusa wasn't going to stop any time soon. But it looked like she would have just the window of time she needed. As her breaths quickened, Marzia started to drag herself off across the canvas with one hand, trying to put some distance between herself and Chigusa - and if the purple-haired woman came after her, Marzia was prepared to roll out of the way. Right now, what she needed most was the space to recover and plan her next move.

Right after body slamming Marzia into the mat, Chigusa considered her next move. She kept her eyes on the Italian girl who tried to distance herself from her. She didn't try to chase after her as her opponent headed over to the edge of the ring. Chigusa decided to let her opponent recover as she would look at her.

"Come on... show me what you got..." Chigusa told Marzia, waiting for her opponent to get back up. She was prepared to close in once again, keeping herself ready as her eyes remained glued on the Italian girl.

Slowly Marzia picked herself up to her feet. Her chest...and her sides...and her head, and her, well, everything was sore from the punishment she had recieved, and she rubbed at her shoulder to try and stave off the pain, gritting her teeth to focus herself. She took a moment to brush her hair out of her eyes before looking back across at Chigusa...who, to Marzia's surprise, wasn't going at her for more. Instead, she had handed the floor over to Marzia to see what the Italian could do. Marzia breathed a short sigh of relief at the sight. The last thing she needed was still more of this, and finally, it was her turn to make her move.

"Okay..." she said tentatively as she narrowed her eyes at Chigusa, "But...you're the one who asked for it!" Sucking in a deep breath, Marzia lowered herself and gathered the strength in her legs before she barreled towards Chigusa as fast as she could, wanting to build up the momentum behind her next strike. As she got nearer to her opponent, Marzia sprung off her feet and held her hands out in front of her, aiming to spear Chigusa off her feet.

Still keeping her eyes on her opponent, Chigusa was prepared for what Marzia would try to throw at her. She saw the Italian girl closing in, and she braced herself for what she would do to her before the girl suddenly went for a spear. Chigusa would let herself be tackled down into the mat, with Marzia on top of her.

"Urghhh!!!"

While the spear might hurt her quite a bit, Chigusa had another thing in her mind as she was brought down into the canvas. With Marzia on top of her, she would quickly try to smash her forearm right into the side of her head, looking to disorient her with the strike as she planned to push her aside in order to recover as well as to think of her next move.
