Saying Hello to the Amazon (for Highfly)

"Aaagh...uuuugh..." Erika's entire body was hurting as she rolled over and tried to prop herself back up. It wasn't for no reason that Alaina Sanders was the heavyweight champ, she was discovering: the woman hit like an absolute freight train. In her own career she couldn't remember fighting someone who was quite this strong, or hit quite this hard, or who was able to tank her worst blows and return them even harder. And Erika freaking loved it. She couldn't quite show it right now on account of how much pain she was in, but she loved just how much Alaina was testing her right now.

She felt Alaina's arms wrap around her waist and lift her upright. Reacting on instinct, Erika tried to drill an elbow back into Alaina's skull, hoping it would make the Amazon drop her. If that failed, however, then Erika would find herself nailed in a brutal spinebuster and end up hurting even worse on the mat!

Alaina had Erika up and felt the elbows landing! Her head was getting rocked and she tried s to throw Erika down while shaking the haze out of her. The elbows cuaght her just right staggering the amazon and leaving her out in her feet!

Erika felt her elbow connect, and more important, felt Alaina stagger back. Good, she knew: this gave her the breathing space she needed to turn this match around. Spinning around to face the Amazon, Erika lunged forward with a yell, extending an arm with the aim of taking Alaina down with a quick and brutal lariat to the throat!

Alaina felt the lariat smash her throat, ramming it closed for a second as her head whipped back and the body of the amazon crashed to the mat! She thrashed and gagged, struggling to breathe after the hard shot to her throat! Alaina was down and struggling in a single huge blow leaving her thrashing, kicking and struggling to breathe on the mat. A throat shot like that left her down, currently she was struggling to breathe let alone rise.

For a few seconds, Erika was concerned that she had overdone it: yes, she had wanted to smash Alaina down to the mat, but the way Alaina was gagging made her legitimately concerned that she had damaged the other woman's throat. For a few seconds, she circled Alaina, watching the champ cough and gag on the mat, looking like a predator circling her prey. In reality, Erika was making sure Alaina was okay, and was ready to call the match if she wasn't.

Once she was sure Alaina was okay, though, Erika would lean down to grab a handful of Alaina's red locks. "Whew...you definitely earned that belt, champ!" Erika said cheerfully. "Too bad this isn't a championship match though!" Hoisting Alaina to her feet, Erika would try to lift her up so that her back was braced against her shoulder, with gravity pulling down on her legs and head. Keeping her arm wrapped around Alaina's waist, Erika would try to keep the Amazon lifted off the mat in a Canadian backbreaker-- not an easy move on an opponent of Alaina's size, but Erika was still eager to try!

Alaina felt herself hauled up and the shot to the throat did anger her a bit. As hurt as she was the amazon wasn't about to let herself get lift up. Any punch, kick, knee or elbow that could land she was sending toward Erika!

Alaina was trying to pound her way to freedom and she wanted to pay Erika back for that lariat...

Even as Erika tried to lift Alaina up, the Amazon fought back ferociously. A punch slammeg against her cheek, before a knee battered her in the midsection, and an elbow slammed against her jaw. "Unnngh!" Erika was forced to release Alaina as she was sent staggering away, momentarily stunned by the Amazon's heavy blows.

Around them, Alaina's fans were now cheering excitedly as their champ began a strong fight back.

Alaina had an opening and knew she had to act. She leaned in and grabbed Erika around the waist and lift trying to plant her with a northern lights suplex to the mat as hard as she could! It was fast and she hoped would do enough to stun Erika allowing the amazon to build momentum and continue to take it to the younger challenger. She had to be aggressive here otherwise she knew she would be in trouble again.

Erika was still seeing stars when she felt Alaina's arms wrap around her waist. "What--" she gasped, before she was flung head over heels, slamming hard onto her back! She collided with the mat with a heavy crash, briefly jacknifing up into a sitting position before falling onto her side, clutching her hurting back and groaning with pain...

Alaina gasped for breath and grit her teeth working her way up to her feet. She had to seize control. Alaina got up and pulled Erika up with her. She had an idea and was hoping to really take it to the young challenger. Alaina wrapped an arm around Erika's head again and grabbed the waist of her attire. She was lifting up again but instead of a vertical suplex she was going to drop Erika straight down on her head for a brain buster! If this connected Alaina was going to keep this woman grounded hoping to get a chance to show off some of her lesser known submission ability...
