Kate was certainly not a spring chicken after receiving so much punishment, but if there was one thing that could keep her up more than anything, it was spite and anger, and she had that in abundance right now, with the actress seemingly hell bent on adding to the fire with her words. The damage she accumulated, though, did put her at a disadvantage, forcing her to make do with what she could manage, which was the only reason why she'd allow Mindy to finish that sentence; every second gave her time to recover, and her opponent getting cocky made her predictable.

When the roundhouse came at her, Kate was ready, dropping briefly on all fours to avoid the attack before using all her limbs to lunch herself forward and up, raming her shoulder under Mindy's knee as her right hand would go for the woman's jaw to grab a hold of it and using that explosive momentum lift her up to slam her on the age of the apron with a choke slam. If successful with that, she'd then stumble back, grabbing a hold of the baricade to keep her upright, one arm going to her ravaged core on pure instinct as she breathed heavily, fighting back pain with each inhale

Mindy's attack circled in and tried to bash the woman's face with another kick, keeping the attack on the battered fighter while she still had struggling to even move properly. Instead of connecting with the jaw of Kate, the purple haired women fell to floor looking like a wild animal and pounced to grab and lift her off the floor, surprising the actress when a hand grabbed her chin and leg to hold her up and then slammed her into the apron.

"Ggaagh!" Mindy screamed hitting the apron on her back, a little closer to her neck than she'd like. She bounced off the thing to fall to the floor holding her back with wide open eyes that expressed the pain she couldn't talk about, feeling it course through her spine over and over again while she tried to recover, leaving her and Kate to stay apart for a few seconds to try and find some measure of rest.

Breathing was still coming hard, burning in her lungs and spreading the pain throughout her core with each inhale, especially now after slamming Mindy against the apron. Her body was demanding her to stop moving, and blesedly, she could as her opponent would bounce off the apron and remain on the ground at least for the time being. That allowed her to slow down her breath, evening it out as best she could to recover from the punishment she received, and though it was slow, especially after such a long fight, she was managing to put the aches she developed most recently into the back of her mind with all the rest, little by little.

Still, though, managing to get out of a terrible situation did not mean she was suddenly in the lead. All it did was pull her out of the immidiate danger but the blow she reciveved with the hammer followed by the torturous hold and a drop she took to escape were no joke, meanwhile Mindy was fighting back a single blow to her back, wich she was sure to recover from shortly, making Kate in turn rush to capitalize on the moment.

She would stumble her way towards the actress, grabbing a hold of her hair and one of her arms to pull her up, before turning towards the ring, trying to drag her there and slam her head on top of the apron before rolling her under the ropes!

Mindy hated pain, and she hated resistance even more. Getting hurt from someone resisting what should've been a clear killshot was really annoying and had Mindy fuming wondering why Kate wasn't rolling over coughing her pancreas out after that hammer shot. Instead she had dropped Mindy on her back while she was recovering from it, leaving Mindy to wonder what it was going to take to put her away. She was getting up while lost in her own thoughts until she felt her hair grabbed and yanked towards the ring apron by huffing and puffing beast.

"Let me go you wounded beast, don't try to take me with you to the g-Rraaahh!" Mindy screamed as her head was slammed into the ring apron, nose first. She brought her hands to her nose as her face was masked with pain and her body almost slumped from the debilitating way she got hit before she was thrown into the ring, rolling around with her hands still on her face wondering what Kate might try next.

Anger and spite were a hell of a drug, anybody in their right mind would have taken the full on swing with a sledgehammer as their queue to stay down, in most cases, the willingness to do so wouldn't even matter, getting up from something like that was downright irresponsible, however, Kate clearly had no regard for what people "should" be able to take and walk, continiuing to fight regardless, even if her body was fighting her at every step and the taste of blood was in her mouth for soo long she almost didn't notice it anymore. She still had her target to pursue, and she'd get right on it, sliding into the ring and getting up with a pained groan.

She would look down at Mindy, taking a breath as if preparing to speak, only to cough as her body reminded her to get to the point. Which in this case was getting as much speed as she could on her way to the floored actress and treat her head like a soccer ball with a kick, hoping it would turn the woman on her belly, but regardless, she'd follow that by stomping on the woman's head. Then, if she needed to, she'd roll her over, hooking both her legs and attempting to go for the pin!
