Playing With Fire: Shizune Uehara (D) vs Courtney Maxie (D)

Shizune’s forearm collided with Courtney’s chest with a meaty smack, knocking the alleged convict down to the mat. Her arm was still a bit sore but she couldn’t spend too much time trying to recover. Because that would also allow Courtney to recover.

Shizune needed to press the attack while she still could. So she stepped to Courtney’s side and dropped an elbow onto her stomach.

Courtney was down and that meant that she was exposed. She wanted to get back up but she though maybe she should roll? She didn't want to get hit again. However she spent way to much time on that.

If anyone stayed down thinking and not acting would get hit by Shizune elbow drop. Like Courtney just did. It made her body jolt a bit. She hold her stomach as she goes to roll away to the ropes.

She uses the ropes to help her get up and keep a eye on Shizune. She probably gonna attack her so she needs a way to counter her. She has to preform the right kind as well.

Shizune felt a bit of satisfaction upon feeling her opponent's body jolt from the elbow drop. The tables had turned for the time being. But while Shizune was busy patting herself on the back, Courtney had managed to roll away towards the ropes. After mentally kicking herself for taking her eyes off the prize, Shizune got up and approached Courtney who was in the middle of pulling herself up to her feet with the ropes. Shizune grabbed Courtney's wrist and whipped her towards the opposite end of the ring. After Courtney rebounded off the ropes, Shizune would attempt of take her down again with another clothesline.

Courtney wasn't able to react agasit tye grab of her wrist. Whe didn't expect that at all. She was able to Irish her to the other corner. She shook her head.

She saw Shizune come after her. She went to and try to duck hoping that she would miss. Which did in fact did happen. Her cloths lined miss.

After that happened she went to go and try give Shizune a shoulder tackle. Whe hopes to knock her down to the matt but she will settle for getting a good amount of distance away from her.

Shizune had hoped that Courtney had been out of it enough that she would be able to knock her down with the clothesline again. However that turned out not to be the case. This time Courtney was able to duck underneath it.

Perhaps Shizune would have been more successful had she not gone for the same move so soon. She wouldn’t have much time for reflection though as Courtney would come back with a shoulder tackle after rebounding off the ropes again. The momentum her opponent had built up after running back and forth across the ring generated enough force to knock Shizune down to the mat once Courtney made contact with her.

Courtney bended her legs a bit. She doesn't know why she would do that a second time but she is not one to judge. That would be something she would do too.

Courtney goes to run at Shizune. She goes to jump and slam both of her legs onto Shizune chest. If that work out well for her she would do what she critized Shizune for.

She goes.to use the ropes to help her bounce and get more momentum to do a anthor attack doing a double leg drop onto Shizune. Hopefully this works out better for her than Shizune.

Shizune mentally kicked herself for getting herself into her current predicament. She had made a rookie mistake and now she was paying for it. While she was laying on the mat, Courtney hadn't stopped. Her momentum carried her back and forth across the ring a couple more times before she jumped up and dropped her legs down onto Shizune's chest.

"Oof!" Shizune coughed as the air in her lungs was forcibly expelled by the impact of the double leg drop.

Courtney decied it was time to weaken her opponent. She went down to the matt. She postponed her legs. She then used to go and wrap around her head. She would start to do a head siccors lock onto Shizune.

"Be a good...girl amd stay...there for a while." She told Shizune. Only if she was ablento pull off the submission.

The crowd cheered. They wanted to see a tap out. Courtney doduts that gonna happen but people can dream. It just a head scissors lock after all.

Shizune coughed lighlty as she tried to get some air back into her lungs. But that would be made more difficult by Courtney wrapping her legs around her head.

"Hrgk!" Shizune desperately clawed at Courtney's legs trying to pry them off of her head. It was proving difficult though as Courtney had the head scissors locked in tight. The longer she had it on, the weaker Shizune would get and thus the harder it would be to pry herself free. So Shizune tried a different tactic and kicked her legs out to try and hook her foot onto the bottom rope.

Courtney felt Shizune and sae her clawing at her legs. She didn't care. She actually fix her hair a bit. It seems her submission is having a good effect on her.

Shizune manges to do something that surprises her. She kcik her elgs out almost touching the ropes. She does it again and this time they tocuh the rope. It cuases a rope break so Courtney had to let her go.

Courtney goes to Shizune. She goes to try to stomp on her back and pull her away from the ropes. If that works and only if that works. She would go to Shizune legs to use a signature move. Will-O-whisp.
