Natsumi Ozora vs Ivan Ramirez - Count Your Blessing

Natsumi had been a bit teasing in her attack against Ivan but it also had another thing underneath it, namely to see if he'd be flustered or not. The monk ever the one who would be keen to have pleasurable interactions with people she had her body glisten with oils and scents that could drive people wild with their hormones, so that her opponents could experience something nice even if they should come up short against her.

Still Ivan seemed to like it, enough to cling onto the monk. However his massive frame was again not for show as the next thing Natsumi knew she was being manhandled more or less and hefted upwards into the air and powerbombed right into the middle of the mat with an explosive thud! "Guahh!" Natsumi yelled as the pain shot up her spine and left her a crumpled heap on the canvas without any idea of what the heck just hit her!

Ivan allowed himself a grim smile as he watched Natsumi crumple, the satisfying thud of her body hitting the mat still ringing in his ears. He'd learned early on that the key to winning a fight was to take your opponent off their feet—literally and figuratively. And that powerbomb had done just that.

But Ivan knew better than to underestimate an opponent, no matter how impressive the takedown. He'd seen fighters come back from far worse than a simple suplex.

Keeping his guard up, Ivan advanced on Natsumi's prone form, his eyes scanning her body for any signs of movement. He couldn't afford to let his guard down, not even for a second.

As he drew near, Ivan reached down and her leg. He pulls the limb up and finds purchase on her foot. He then attempts to twist the foot along with her leg to exhaust her with pain. A common yet effective tactic.

"Give up yet?" he growled.

Wasn't the first time Natsumi had been slammed in a powerbomb, happened once in a barfight oddly enough and the table did little just like how the mat did little to help her in this instance. The monk groaned but then jolted upright as best as her stunned body would allow itself to as Ivan cranked one of her legs in a classic ankle lock attempt, now this wasn't good. The seeker had good knowledge of the ground game and knew if her legs got too badly damaged she'd say goodbye to her powerful martial arts.

"A-Ahhhh I won't yield!" Natsumi would yell as she shook from left to right and shook her head to tell the ref she wasn't yielding. The monk would roll to the side and then get her palms on the mat, taking a page out of the book of the dancing passion Eliza Harenwood herself Natsumi would try to roll forward and force Ivan to let go of her leg and hopefully make him stumble forward and crash into the ropes!

The crowd roared as Natsumi rolled, and for a moment it seemed like her plan might actually work. But Ivan had fought in underground pits - he'd seen the same maneuver. Rather than releasing his grip, he simply shifted his weight, using Natsumi's momentum against her in a fluid transition, climbing on her back and grabbing both legs.

When Natsumi attempted to push off the mat, Ivan used it as transition to a Boston Crab!

Okay Natsumi was having issues with this man, he was refusing to accept her blessings that she was attempting to bestow upon him and moreover was winning and the monk while a masochist in her own right still wanted to show that she could do some martial arts in the ring. Ivan was on her like a dog with a chewtoy and Natsumi wasn't getting any chance to escape.

Ivan's transition would work well and Natusmi let out a mixture of pained groans and annoyed yells of pain as she shook her head and lay like a whining brat on the mat. But she'd not be done in like this, the monk had other ideas and relied on her yoga practise to lessen the pain on her spine and she tried to slam her elbows into Ivan's back in a desperate attempt to escape!
