Niko was glad that Lei seemed to be alright, even if she was less than pleased with Tiki for what she was guessing were some less than adequate fore warning to Niko's... specialized skill set when it came to learning submissions. Though that being said Niko didn't hesitate to sway Lei's hand aside when she jabbed it into her chest. "Oh haha a jealous of big boobs joke how original." Niko said with a dry sarcastic tone before immediately perking up at what Lei said in terms of both the praise, as well as saying she should practice it again, but this time on Tiki!
Remembering their conversation earlier Niko would look at her mentor with an all too eager look on her face. "Yeah! Tiki lovessss being between them more than anyone!" She added onto what Tiki had said with a teasing smile while already getting in the correct stance as Tiki approached. "Bring it on." Niko declared confidently and once Tiki approached to tackle her Niko would repeat the steps of the move near flawlessly, though granted she had to adjust a bit with how freaking tall Tiki was but she still managed to secure the hold no problem, pulling Tiki's head back until her face pressed into her chest just like before!
"There. Right back in you're favorite place." Niko said, even shimmying her shoulders a bit to grind Tiki's face a bit deeper into her chest with a broad smile on her face. "Oh hey by the way Lei got any good kicking recommendations?" Niko asked casually, and if Tiki started to tap then Niko would just casually ignore it in favor of talking with Lei who she hoped wouldn't ruin the fun, in fact.. "Hey do you hear or see anything? Cause I don't." Niko would say if Tiki was in fact tapping, just for the sake of fucking with her mentor, only willing to let go once she was fairly sure the woman would be on the verge of passing out, but not quite out fully.

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
Lei couldn't help but look on with a stunned stare as Niko perfectly repeated her performance of the modified version of Lei's kung fu grappling technique. It was a similar feeling to how the brunette felt after getting her ass kick by what she thought was some random old man on the day she met her shifu. "What kinda prodigal sh- How do you just do that?! You had the move used on you once and now you can just do it! Isn't that like the superpower of some comic book guy or something?"
Tiki, for her part, tapped out quickly upon Niko's completion of the move. She could try to break out, but that wasn't really the point of this. It seemed, however, that Niko had other plans, as she wiggled her chest down until it was snug around Tiki's head and held it there. Though the veteran could still hear Niko start to ask Lei about other techniques like she wasn't even there. Oh for Christ's sake, Tiki thought as she flopped her hand to the ground in exasperation.
Lei immediately caught onto what Niko was doing, and since she had done this to get back at Tiki for laughing at her, she decided that the Brit could stay between the pinkette's breasts a bit longer. "Unless you mean the waves, I don't hear anything," she said. "But to your first question, kicks are my expertise. Though I must ask in return, how acrobatic are you? While I do have some simpler stuff, speed, agility, and mobility is my big thing as a fighter. So a lot of my best kicks have a lot of spinning, jumping, and flipping."
Tiki was starting to have enough of the joke as she listened to Niko and Lei converse through her fleshy earmuffs, so she decided to get a little dirty to make her student let up the hold. With the one free hand she had, Tiki would grab one of Niko's boobs, squeeze, twist, and pull.

In response to Lei's shock at Niko being able to replicate the hold again Niko would just shrug. "I dunno maybe? It only really works with submissions though, I haven't been able to do slams or high flying stuff super easily after just seeing them like these though." Niko said in response before really settling in on her teachers face to smother her as much as possible.
Naturally Tiki didn't take long to tap but Niko wasn't releasing it yet, instead wanting to have a bit of fun with the woman. Something that Lei was evidently willing to humor Niko on as she answered her question in good faith and began to go into a full on lesson over kicks.
"Oh like, I can't do any mid air flips or anything but I can tumble and do back flips and stuff pretty easily so like, above averagEEEEEEEEEYYY!!!" Niko answered normally at first only to feel her breast get grabbed, twisted and pulled hard, sending shrill shocks of pain all throughout her body! "Let gooooo!" Niko cried out as she shot up to he feet, holding her chest in pain!

"You're telling me to let go?" Tiki yelled as she managed to make Niko get off of her with her little counterattack. The veteran laughed before play shoving Niko. "Cheeky little bitch. You too Lei, remind me to kick both your asses sometime."
"Heh, well see about that one, Tiki," said Lei. "But to continue the conversation we were having before we were so rudely interrupted," Tiki stuck her tongue out, and was met with a smirk and middle finger from Lei, "if midair flips are a no go, then the Kingfisher's Tantrum is out. But backflips are good, real good!"
"The first two I have are simpler moves that go together; Traveler's First Step and Cat's Reproach," Lei said before she paused, "You don't gotta worry about the names, it's just a kung fu thing. But as for the actual techniques, Traveler's First Step is the simplest kick centered around getting foot to face as efficiently as possible. Knee up not quite to a 90 degree bend and pulled slightly across your body, then swing it in an arc up, then across through the target's jaw, then bring it down, coming back into your starting stance as you finish." The kung fu master then performed a demonstration on the air before elaborating further, "Main thing you can get caught on is that you don't want to go up and across at the same time. The transition from up to across should be fluid, but not so rushed that you're going up and across at the same time. You don't want to hit while you're going up. You want to hit only when you're going across."
"The second kick, Cat's Reproach, has the same starting knee raise as Traveler's First Step in order to mix opponent's up between the two," explained Lei. "You show them one a few times, they get used to the knee raise and prepare for whichever one you've been showing them, then BAM! Smack 'em with the other! Then after that, whenever your knee comes up in that way, they're guessing. I don't have a specific name for it, but Cat's Reproach targets the head too, so if you wanted, you could just throw a kick into the body as a third switch up on them!"
"But I'm getting out in front," said Lei, "Here's how Cat's Reproach works. After the knee raise, you do a full spin bringing your leg all the way up in an arc, then come down and across your opponent's head from the opposite side that Traveler's First Step hits. Then you finish the spin and come back down into your stance. Now with this one, because you're spinning, you are going down and across at the same time when you hit. It's not like Cat's reproach where you go up, then across." Like before, after going through it slowly while explaining, Lei finished with a full speed demonstration at the air.

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
Niko grumbled and pouted softly at Tiki as the woman chastised her lightly. "Yeah well unlike when my boobs are twisted getting smothered by me feels GOOD so yeah! Niko said while sticking her tongue out at her mentor to show it wasn't serious before turning back to Lei who got her own shot in at Tiki as well.
"Right what were you saying Lei?" Niko asked curiously as she plopped onto her but in the sand and waited for the woman to explain what she had been prior to being interrupted. "Ok, backflips are good and simple is good too. I can def work that in well." Niko said with a nod to the woman as she listened and watched her demonstration.
"Ohhhh I see. So like, be prepared to swing out with my foot as soon as the knee is up high enough. I think I can remember that." Niko said with a nod. before sitting back again and watching as Lei then began to explain the second move and admittedly this time Niko would tilt her head in curiosity before the woman demonstrated the move, making it clear how it worked.
"Ahhh ok. I had trouble visualizing it at first but that makes sense. So raise my knee up first then spin while doing that bringing my foot down and across someone's face... I think I could do that." Niko said partially to herself as she pushed up and got out of the sand. "Let me try." Niko said as she brought her knee up and then swung her foot out to try and perform Traveler's first step.
Once her foot hit the sand again then she would bring it right up, before twisting and trying to swing her leg out again for the Cat's reproach.... Only as Niko went for the spin she lost her foot and ended up falling backwards into the sand! "Ugh... ok that one's a little hard." Niko admitted as she sat back up wondering how she was supposed to keep her footing and balance while doing that spin.

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
Lei watched as Niko nailed Traveler's First Step without issue, then fell on her ass when she tried Cat's Reproach. "Yeah, now that I think about it, maybe sand isn't the best surface to try teaching spin moves," she said. "It really likes to shift out from under you when you try to spin, doesn't it?"
"That doesn't mean we should stop trying here," Tiki said. "If it's harder on sand, then that just means that if Niko can master it in such a manner, then she'll never mess it up on a mat."
"That's fair logic," Lei said. "Really you just have to be tighter on the spin. Your body moves in a circle, but your foot needs to stay on one point when you spin. I'm pretty sure i saw your foot coming with the rest of you on that first try. It doesn't mean you'll always fall if it happens, but the looser your spin is, the more room you leave for something to go wrong. And it also makes you go a little slower regardless."
Lei paused. She had thought of something more to say, but wasn't sure if she should. It was a phrase her old shifu had used when explaining how to perform the ultimate technique of Earthen Heart Kung Fu. Was it really her place to use that to teach a much simpler move to a somebody who wasn't even a true disciple of the Earthen Heart?
"Every movement, subtle and sudden," Lei said it. The old man had also said that Heavenly Peaks Descent was the culmination of his life and art. Was not that line simply a piece of the teaching, just as Cat's Reproach was a piece of his life's work? And would not Niko become a part of Lei's own legacy as the Earthen Heart Master? "Put simply, it means no wasted movement or time. Move as little and as quickly as you can while still performing the technique correctly. That is how you eliminate your mistakes."

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
Having fallen on her but in the sand after trying and failing Cat's Reproach Niko would curl her legs listening to Lei at first seemed to be saying it wouldn't be ideal to learn some of these moves on sand before Tiki interjected and said that it'd be better to do so here where there's a disadvantage so she could do so easily on more stable footing. "Yeah what Tiki said! I'm definitely down to keep trying!" Niko said with a enthusiastic nod before turning back to Lei as she started to give some constructive criticism, explaining to keep her spin tighter while keeping her foot at a level point.
"Ok... I think I can do that." Niko said as she got back up to a standing position before pausing as Lei gave some last minute advice, telling her to waste as little movement as possible while moving quickly. "Right... I'll try." Niko said as she tried again, being a bit tighter but still falling. this time though she at least shot her leg out. This time though Niko didn't wait she got right back up and tried again, then again.. and finally on the fifth try she spun, keeping her body in tight and swung her leg out, this time managing to the kick while also keeping her balance!

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
"That's the spirit! Keep right at it then," Lei said as Niko resolved to continue figuring out Cat's Reproach in spite on the adversarial terrain. Success wasn't immediate, but progress was evident. Lei didn't really find much in the way of new advice to give with each try. It was just a need to apply the same adjustments even more. Every spin a little tighter, until. . .
"Hell yeah! Way to get it!" Lei cheered once Niko finally nailed the spin.
"Well done, Niko," Tiki followed.
"Okay, I got two more kicks I want to show you before we move on," Lei said. "Chipmunk's Delight and Heavenly Horse's Trample. Both of these are backflip kicks, and there's something you need to understand first about those before I show you them. There's a spectrum of height and distance with backflip kicks that controls the damage and safety of the attack," Lei explained. "The higher you go, the more straight up your flip is, the more damage it will do, since you're basically blowing straight through the target's chin. But you take more risk if something goes wrong since you're airborne for longer and land closer to your opponent."
"Niko, the Sakura Special would be a very accurate representation of what Lei just explained," Tiki elaborated.
"Haven't been here long enough to know what that is but I'll take your word," Lei said. "So height equals damage. But on the other side, the more back you put into your backflip, the safer you are. But your kick arcs away after hit hits instead of pushing through, so it won't hit as hard. The most important thing to remember is that there really isn't a way to get both. You can pick an angle between the extremes to find a middle ground, but there's no 'perfect flip' that just does better than anything else."
"The more basic one that the sand should play nice with is Chipmunk's Delight. It's a pure distance and safety backflip kick," Lei said. "What sets it apart, is that it's a hit and run move. You don't just do it from a standing position in close quarters. When there's distance between you and your opponent, you dart in, and flip right back out with the little parting gift on the chin. Heavenly Horse's Trample. . . is a bit of a doozy. So I'll save that for after you get Chipmunk's Delight down."

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
As she finally seemed to master Cat's Reproach Niko would nod with a happy smile on her face to both Tiki and Lei as she nodded and took in the praise for a moment before focusing on Lei as she began to explain what they'd be doing next.
Two kicks that would involve backflips, as such Lei went through some of the basic information about the method of doing a back flip move. "Right ok that makes sense for the most part." Niko said with a nod at first to Lei before Tiki cut in with an making an example to Sakura Hagiwara's signature move.
"Ohhh ok wait yeah makes even more sense now." Niko said with a nod and smile before looking back at Lei as she began going into detail about what she'd be doing, starting with Chimpmunk's Delight. "Ok so... dart in, back flip, kick, and then retreat right?" Niko asked for confirmation before turning to look between the two.
"So let me go ahead and give this a try." Niko said with a nod before taking a quick spring in the sand, bending down slightly before leaping backwards, swinging her leg out as she did and pulling her hips in to get her feet back under her to land back in the sand afterwards, managing to do so albeit with a brief stumble before looking over her shoulder to see what Lei thought.

Re: Beachside Training 2 Electric Boogaloo (for Deez)
Lei smiled as Niko performed the Chipmunk's Delight. It wasn't perfect, but doing acrobatic attacks like that required a lot of muscle memory to have down cleanly. It was a very strong first attempt, one that had the shifu ready to move on. "Nice," she said. "Definitely keep practicing it later so your body can get better accustomed to sticking the landing, but being able to do it properly without falling is enough to convince me you'll be able to get it down on your own."
"So now then, we can move on to the Heavenly Horse's Trample!" Lei said. "This is easily the most difficult that I'm going to teach you, hell it's up there with some of the hardest moves to learn and master in Earthen Heart Kung Fu as a whole. This is by no means an indictment against your abilities, but I would not expect to learn this move well enough to use in a match for some time. It probably won't be until a fall or even winter PPV where you're busting this one out in a match, much less against Goneril."
"No part of this is easy, but the start is probably the hardest," Lei began. "You start with a Double Advancing Hurricane Kick, meaning you make two full rotations on your plant leg while you're kicking leg is swinging around you. So not only do you have to keep those really tight spins like in Cat's Reproach, but you also have to do those spins while pushing yourself forward. And let me tell you, trying to move while spinning makes it way too easy for your spins to get loose."
"And you wanna know the craziest part? You have to put in all this work to pull off back to back advancing spin kicks. . . and they aren't even meant to hit your opponent. They're just to build up speed," Lei continued. "The reason the Hurricane Kicks are advancing is because you're supposed to start the attack from outside of your range, and then move forward with the kicks to get in range for the real attack. You can hit them, but it's not recommended unless you're certain your opponent won't be able to defend against them. Because if one of them gets stopped, you're in big trouble. And if you do hit them, you have to make sure you're gonna be able to kick through and keep spinning, or else you're still in trouble. You can't even knock the opponent down with the spin kicks if you hit them, because it ruins the intended finisher and you'll have to improv something to try to save it. Ideally, the second kick should have your bent leg come just short of an opponent's guard."
"So, what's all this building up to then, I'm sure you're wondering," Lei said. "Well when you come around for the third spin, you bring your leg down while it's still behind the rest of your body so that your foot is just above the ground, and then cut your own momentum. This puts a ton of tension into your hips and plant leg, so they gotta be really strong to handle it. And then just as quickly as you take that tension in, you shoot it back out, exploding into a Backflip Kick straight up through your opponent's chin. Catching them with a devastating attack from below after you've made them expect it from the side. If you land this and you don't knock out the poor sucker you hit, you either messed something up, or you need to start running."
Lei would start demonstrating the move to Niko, this time starting in slow motion considering all the complex parts. But her spins and advances looked a little clunky, and Lei felt it too. "Geez, this sand's even getting to me now, too. It's so fine, loose, soft. . . shifty," said Lei. "This move makes you push into the ground so hard. If I were to try this at full speed, my leg might just end up sinking in."
"And at that point, you'd be lucky not to get hurt," Tiki added. "This move, I think we should save for a more stable surface."
"Yeah. Sorry Niko, but I don't think the sand can handle this move. It's unsafe," Lei said. "It'd be dangerous for me to try pulling off, much less someone just learning the move for the first time. One must always be wary of the surroundings they fight in, and adapt accordingly. Not all moves are made for all situations. But to make it up to you, what do you wanna learn next? Or maybe we could go into some sparring if you'd like?"
