Somehow he figured that breaking the news about there being no hot water would not go well with her. Nobody liked a cold shower after a work-out so he could sympathize with her in that regard. However, considering how angry she was not too long ago, she took the news rather well. Daichi couldn't help but feel a bit bad for her, she seemed to be a bit upset over something. Was it the idea of a shared locker? was it him? was it something else. Whatever it was, something was clearly bothering her and he could tell by her expressions.

He aimed to start over, addressing her formally and even offering a handshake. She extended her hand too and the two shook hands, quite gently. Daichi smiled before letting her hand go and lo and behold, she was trying to make conversation now! "Huh?! Good question" he said as he would stretch his hands over his head before bringing his hands to the back of his head while leaning back against the locker.

"I'm not exactly sure about that sorry!" he said, noticing the low grumble when she asked that question. "Even though its our shared locker room I...uh, I don't mind giving you some privacy? I can step out for a bit if you need to sort your things or even take a shower, even if it is a cold one" he said, trying to offer some truce.

The idea of a cold shower made her grimace, but the alternative was worse. She could already imagine herself sticky and miserable for hours, stuck in this building to scribble signatures for HR. Crawling around on that filthy floor hadn’t exactly sweetened her mood either. She wrinkled her nose at the memory, letting out a small, indelicate snort... And what if she ran into fans later looking like she’d just crawled out of a grimy sauna? Absolutely not.

“Yes. Privacy. I’d like some of that.” Madison sighed the words as she brushed past Daichi, making no effort to hide the way her shoulder angled just enough to carelessly nudge him. She padded toward the tiled archway, stopping just shy of stepping inside. Leaning forward, she peered into the shower area, lips pursed as she took mental stock of the space like a critic judging a hotel room. Thankfully, she lacked a black light.

The blonde hesitated, then turned her head back toward him, green eyes narrowing ever so slightly. “So… what is it you do here?”

The question dripped with feigned nonchalance, but her gaze betrayed her calculation. Was he staff? A hanger-on? Some rookie with the audacity to cross her path on her first day? The thought that he might just be a janitor clearly crossed her mind, the corners of her lips twitching into something halfway between a smirk and a sneer as she waited for his answer.

It seems they were making progress. That got Daichi excited, maybe he can finally make a real friend outside the orphanage! He was proud of himself, it would have been easier to just end up fighting her when she pinned him against the wall but he was glad that calmer heads prevailed. He did suggest that she would take a cold shower, make due with what they had at the moment. Certainly it was better than the alternative, which was to hang around with post-work out sweat all over ones body.

The idea of some privacy did seem to interest her, but she gave no credit to Daichi for offering that even though he was well within his right to just stay in the locker room area. "Heh, yeah so I can- nrgh, I can step out for a moment if you'd like" he said in a soft tone when she would bump her shoulder into his. He told himself that it was probably an accident, even though it did look quite deliberate. Madison would peak in the shower area, not impressed at all before once again turning to Daichi.

Her question would have no doubt angered most wrestlers around here, but the naive and innocent nature of Daichi didn't catch on to what she implied. "Oh haha! Sorry! Well, I'm actually a wrestler here. I'm quite new here, just like you. My dream is to become the best wrestler here at LAW!" he said with a big smile on his face and his tone full of excitement.

Madison cocked her head at Daichi’s earnest admission, her lips curling into the faintest smirk. He wore his heart on his sleeve, talking about his dream of being the best like it was some kind of romantic pursuit. The sheer naivety was almost charming in a pitiable way. He was as green as spring grass. Nobody in this business stayed that wide-eyed for long. At least, she thought, with a small roll of her eyes, he’d kept his ambition confined to LAW and not the entire world.

Just like me, hm? The thought slid across her mind, gears already turning. There might be something to work with here, after all. All it would take was a little more prying. The blonde pivoted smoothly on the heel of her sneaker, letting her shoulder rest lazily against the archway of the showers. Her gaze softened into something teasing. “You must be pretty tough with such loftly aspirations.”

A beat, then she tipped her head with mock sweetness. “I guess that means you’ll have to go through me, though… Someday. The smile that followed was honeyed, her voice light as air, but there was a deliberate edge of challenge in it.

Madison adjusted her stance in the subtlest of ways, the casual lean turning into something almost feline. The arch of her back just enough to push her chest forward, the tilt of her hip just enough to sharpen the curve of her legs. All presented like an afterthought, as if her body simply fell into the pose without effort.

Her eyes found his again, the corners glinting with something sly. “Got any pointers for me?” The words dripped with a softness that wasn’t quite innocent, laced instead with a sultry undertone. A question, yes, but really more of an invitation. Nothing but sweet smoke and mirrors, meant to lure and entice.

Daichi had no problems letting people know about his dream to become the best wrestler at LAW. He didn't even think about becoming the best wrestler in the world, perhaps it was one step at a time. Some may call his ambitions to be naive, foolish or just the wishful thinking of someone who is just new to the world of pro-wrestling. However, to Daichi, it was his motivation to get up out of bed. He wasn't doing it just for himself, he wanted to let the world know that a poor orphan from a small orphanage could also be someone, that hard work and motivation can get people like him into a position of power and respect.

A bead of sweat formed across his forehead as he started to get a bit nervous now. Her tone had changed into something.....seductive? Was she trying to seduce him out of the locker room? No- that couldn't be it, he offered to leave on his own accord! Maybe this is just her way of acting nice, because she was now seemingly more interested in speaking with him and not attacking and/or accusing him.

"Thanks, yeah I'd like to think I'm pretty tough! I never back down from any challenge either, the tougher the better" he said, pumping his fists in the air to show off his excitement. However, Madison's posture, her tone, her questions started to really get him nervous. He was not good with such...type of women.

"Um, y-yeah or well, you know, we could help each other become the best? Uh, tag team or just help each other become the top two and one day, we can...um, see who comes out on top when its just us two on the top?" he said, his words fumbling. Gulping nervously, he wasn't sure what to say when she asked him for some pointers. Still, that name-Madison Knoxx...why was that name so familiar?

"I uh...maybe it's time I give you that privacy you wanted huh? Eh-hehehe, I'm sure you need to shower, change and sort out your locker stuff, right? I-I, best be going?" he said, trying to avoid eye contact as he was flustered, cheeks turning red.

Judging by his general demeanor, poor Daichi was a rookie in more ways than one. The red cheeks, the stammering—he might as well have had “fresh meat” stamped across his forehead. Madison kept her total amusement tucked neatly behind a playful facade, lips twitching into a smile that was equal parts indulgent and predatory. Timid as he was, though, his bashfulness was doing him some favors; it meant he wasn’t running headlong into her traps, even if he was dancing right along the edges.

“Yeah…” She cooed softly, drawing the word out until it lingered between them. Her eyes narrowed with feline mischief. I wouldn’t mind seeing who’s on top by the end of it all, either.

She folded her arms snugly beneath her chest, tapping her chin with a perfectly manicured finger as if lost in thought. In truth, she was barely listening to his rambling, only savoring the look on his face. Then, with theatrical timing, she perked up, her expression lighting up like inspiration had just struck. How convenient!
“So…” The blonde tilted her head, voice lilting with feigned curiosity. “If I challenged you, you’d accept.”

She let the question hang, watching him with a sly smile before twisting the knife just a little further. “Since you never back down…” She leaned away from the tiled arch, taking a half-step closer, her tone dropping into a mock whisper, conspiratorial but unmistakably taunting. …you’d be obligated to tussle with me. Right?

Madison's smirk broadened, daring him to answer, knowing she’d just walked him into a corner using his own words against him.

Deep in thought, he felt he was probably more content dealing with her when she was angry. Daichi was never good when it came to flirting or seducing someone and was quite easily flustered with any kind of seduction. It didn't help that Madison was gorgeous, but he had to remember to stay professional. He couldn't tell the faint expressions on her face, that she was trying to trick him into something. It was hard to look directly at her face without his cheeks turning red anyways. Perhaps it was best to quickly make a swift exit. After all, that was what she wanted initially wasn't it?

However, it seemed even Madison had a change of heart and was now intrigued in her new "locker room mate". Her tone soft, slow and seductive. The slow movements of her figure was a bit too much for the young rookie. He stayed quiet and listened to her speak, his forehead visibly sweating now while he was looking away to the side and to the floor. When she took a half step towards him, he would take a step back and feel the steel locker against his back.

She had indeed backed him in a corner, physically and mentally. "Uh...yeah. Yeah, I guess so...Ms. Knox" he said, trying to address her formally to perhaps make things less awkward. "I...I would accept your challenge" he added.

Madison could practically see the steam coming off Daichi’s head, his cheeks flushed as he stammered and avoided her gaze. He looked like he wanted to melt straight into the floor, and she had to bite back a snicker. This was almost too easy. Every shuffle of his feet, every dart of his eyes only made her grin grow wider.

“Then…” she said softly, inching closer with deliberate slowness. One hand rose, fingertips hovering just shy of his burning cheek, before slipping past to rest her palm against the locker behind his head. The faint thunk of it landing there made the moment feel heavier than it was. She leaned in just a little, enough to make him squirm without ever actually closing the distance.

“How about a little match then?” she teased, her voice light, almost sing-song, like she was dangling a piece of candy just out of reach. “Just you and me. A friendly contest to see just how tough you really are.”

Her eyes sparkled with amusement as she tilted her head, watching him like a cat watches a mouse it isn’t ready to eat yet. “Don’t worry,” she added with mock sweetness, “I'll try my very best to provide a challenge."

Daichi had never been in such a situation like this. Madison sure had a way with her words and her tone. At this point, leaving wouldn't seem like a bad idea after all and now he was the one regretting having to share a locker room with Madison! Is this how things would be if they end up sharing this place for longer than a couple of months? He figured his little heart won't be able to take all of this. Wanting to try and get out of the situation, he figured he would just agree to whatever she wanted. That usually is the fastest way to cut a conversation short.

She leaned in further, making him gulp nervously. Her palm resting against the locker behind his head while she leaned in close. She then threw the challenge, what she really wanted from him. A match, but not just any match- a match with just the two of them. No crowd, no referee, just the two. Daichi was not really in a position to say no to her, plus he did say he never backed down from a challenge.

"Y-yeah sure...a match, just you...and me" he said, finally raising his head up a bit to meet her face to face. "I accept your challenge to a wrestling match, Ms. Knox" he said in a low, almost defeated tone. Madison was all over him in the mental battle.

Madison didn’t move. Her palm stayed braced against the locker beside his head, body angled just enough to keep him penned in place. The grin on her face softened, but only into something sly, self-satisfied.

“Good,” she murmured, savoring the way the word made him flinch just a little. “Now if you don’t mind…” Her eyes narrowed with mock sweetness as she tilted her head, letting the silence hang a beat before delivering the rest. “…I’d like that privacy now.”

She finally pushed off the locker, rolling her shoulders back and resting her towel across them like a queen reclaiming her throne. Maddie gave a sharp little nod toward the door, her smile growing just wide enough to show teeth.

“Don’t worry,” she added lightly, as if it were a kindness, “I’ll let you know when I’m ready for that match. For now? Run along. This locker room’s mine.”
