It was an unlikely night for Ambre. Tonight she was going to participate in the Slam-A-Thon, a supercard featuring the best heavyweights... And she was chosen to face Alaina tonight, the champion. It was stressful, not only because she would be able to face Alaina again and perhaps get her revenge, but especially because her greatest dream was so close. The heavyweight championship belt, the only thing Ambre had fought for until today...

She remembers her arrival at LAW, seeing with her own eyes the Triple Threat match that made Alaina champion, her first meeting with Alaina, and the autograph she had requested... Years had passed until this day, years in which Ambre had matured mentally and become stronger.

The Black Pearl remained smiling behind the footlights, waiting for the end of the commentary introductions before taking the stage.

"HERE COMES OUR CHALLENGER ! YOUNG BUT PERSEVERING, AS STRONG AS A GIANT, THE UNBREAKABLE BLACK PEARL... AMBRE BRAULT !!"

Ambre took the stage, accompanied by her theme song, which she had changed since her match against Astrid Ostberg. She smiled broadly at the spectators, not wanting to show them how nervous she was... She even started to trot a little quickly while she greeted the spectators. She had to find a way to calm herself down, and fortunately, entering the cage reminded her how serious this match was.

Her smile faded slightly, pedantically, as she climbed into the ring, giving the crowd one last bow before remaining in her corner, sighing deeply to calm herself and be ready for this match while the champion enter the stage.

This was it, a big event for heavyweights that helped highlight the division. Alaina couldn't be happier. She checked herself to make sure the tiger print two piece attire was fitting perfectly over her 50 year old but still muscular frame. She eas about to step out for her 17th title defense and the whole theme screamed amazon. She had to go out and defend that title again. She couldn't lose in a match like this or a venue like this.

Soon her music played and the crowd roared as the LAW Heavyweight Champion stepped out and held her title high as she was announced.

"Making her way to the ring standing at 5'9" weighing in at 187 pounds from San Diego, California......LAW Heavyweight Champion "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines!"

Alaina flexed and did a lap holding up thr bekt before handing it over to the referee. She bounced from foot to foot shaking out her arms as she stared a hole though Ambre. The champion was ready to do whatever it took to retain her championship tonight....

She was there, the big champion of her weight division, Alaina Sanders-Haines ... with the champion belt in hand. The pain was completely different although Ambre be appreciated by it, they all wanted to see the champion triumph over a new victory tonight ...

It adds up this feeling of being a prey in front of a hunter like the Amazon when it returned to the ring, driving the floor and not even looking at the French ... Ambre felt a little embarrassed to engage the discussion after all this time spent since their last meeting, but it was necessary. She took her courage in two hands and swept through the champion.

"Alaina ... I ..."

Black Pearl didn't know what to say, several feelings was going through his heart and that didn't help him calm it down. She sighed for a long time, quickly taking her calm before looking at the champion seriously, the same competitive look she had in her match.

Alaina stood across from Ambre as she spoke and nodded to her as she stretched. "I know you will. But I can't let that happen. We're going to give them quite a show but this title is mine to keep and I will also do all I can to make sure that happens." Alaina said with a smile as the bell rang.

She began to circle knowing how strong Ambre was. Alaina was still sharp, still strong, and still a champion. That didn't means she could be sloppy. She had wrestled many undefeated women during her reign, ending those streaks but to do it the amazon had to be perfect. Tonight was just the same, she had to wrestle perfect to walk out as champion. She would lunge in and try to grapple with Ambre before immediately swinging her knee up trying to hammer Ambre with knee strikes to the abdomen as hard as she could as quickly as she could!

The cage closed as Alaina spoke, and at the end of her speech, the bell rang to announce the start of the match. A shiver of excitement ran through the Frenchwoman's body, as she raised her arms slightly, spinning around to keep an eye on Alaina, who was about to attack her at any moment, but head-on.

Ambre was expecting a test of strength to start this match; after all, in their last match, the duel had ended in a draw... But Alaina didn't want to waste her time and grabbed the Frenchwoman's hands, pulling the Black Pearl forward instead of pushing her away, and crushing her knee against the Frenchwoman's abs.

"Agh?!"

Ambre was surprised and in pain, the champion was starting strong!... And Ambre didn't have time to prepare herself properly, after her sigh of pain she only pushed Alaina away with her hands before taking a few steps back, holding her stomach with one hand.

Ambre shoved her away and Alaina stumbled a few steps but with Ambre seemingly stunned this just gave the champion a new opportunity to act! Alaina got her balance and surged forward at Ambre again wasting no time as she closed the gap as quickly as she could. Alaina extended her arm and attempted to smash into Ambre with a lariat to send her to the mat on her back. Alaina wasn't going to let up at all, viewing this as an absolute must-win. This event was a showcase not a curtain call for the amazon. She shouted as she gave the lariat her all hoping it connected as she planned.

Ambre stepped back and clutched her stomach after being caught off guard by Alaina's knee strike. She was in pain, but she had to quickly recover; the first few seconds of a match were crucial... But Alaina seemed faster and more determined at that moment! The champion pinned the Frenchwoman to the ground after following up with a lariat to the chest, leaving Ambre lying on the mat, sighing in pain.

"Aaarghhh!.."

This time, the Black Pearl didn't stand idly by and rolled backward to quickly get up while putting some distance between herself and the champion, sighing slightly in pain as she had her back to the ropes.

Alaina knew how good Ambre was. She couldn't let up. She had an idea now that could help her really solidify a good start or it would leave her in a compromised position. She smiled and knew she had to give her idea a try. Alaina ran at Ambre as she was against the ropes looking to leap up and extend her legs with the 50 year old heavyweight attempting to smash Ambre with a missile dropkick looking to hit her in the chest to drive her through the ropes and against the cage wall!

However if Ambre moved it would be Alaina missing and getting herself caught up in the ropes...

Ambre managed to distance herself from the champion, wanting to take advantage of the ropes near her to stand against them and sigh slightly, thinking of a plan to beat Alaina, who made no secret of her strength! But Alaina didn't give her that chance. As soon as she got up, she threw herself at the Black Pearl and connected with a drop kick to the Frenchwoman's chest, sending Ambre through the ring ropes.

"Nghhh!..."

Ambre had to pull herself together; this was the match she had been waiting for for years, and she couldn't afford to get knocked around from the start! As her body passed through the ropes, the Black Pearl grabbed onto the top ropes to keep from falling out of the ring. Her body was still leaning backward, so she pulled on the rope to straighten up and headbutt the champion with a roar !
