If there was one thing Rosa shared with Cleo, it was eagerness. Feeling like she had a million bolts searing through there veins, Rosa bounced in her locker room with a smile as bright as star carved on her face! While she shadowboxed in wait for the stagehand to say it was her time to arrive. Jab, hook straight, strafe, duck, and block, over and over Rosa practiced her strikes, picturing the face of Cléophée in her sights. Watching as a waterfall of imaginary white hair bombed and weaved every strike she gave as I'm the back of her mind, she felt like pinching herself. Even if it was just her third match in LAW, Rosa felt like this must be a dream, that maybe she was knocked out after a stream and was gonna wake up to her boring old life. But no, no matter how much a part of her denied it, she was a wrestler, she was in a match with one of the Ysés for goodness sake! And with that fact, she couldn't help but be excited.
Smothering her squeal with a laugh, the boxer tried in vain her best to get her nerves back to more Rosa-normal levels.
'it's ok, it's ok, it's just a match, don't get ahead of yourself, it's just a match, against a really cool opponent. Who'd I'd probably, definitely thank for slamming me a few weeks ago but still! I'm here to win, fangirling comes later!' she thought, finally feeling her emotions starting to simmer until a knocking sound shot them right back up.
"Miss DeFranco, you're up!" The stagehand called as Rosa yelled back,
"Thanks Steve, be right there!" She said, as in a rush, the super fan swung her coat over her shoulders, placed her shades over her eyes, and made her way to curtains. Hearing the last sound of her name ring out before the blare of sirens heralded her arrival.
Only to then itself get drowned out by the roar of the crowd as Rosa made her way to stage, feeling like she got hooked up to a live wire as her smile okay widened ahen she raced down the ramp. Clapping as many hands as she could reach before sliding into the ring, letting her coat spill on the ground before rising to her feet and tossing her shades to the crowd.
Only to turn around a greet Cleo with a beaming smile as she tried as hard as she could to stay focused on the match. With an emphasis on try, because the moment her mouth opened, the fan girl in her spoke faster than the wrestler ever could.
"Oh my gosh, hey, it's nice to finally meet you! I've heard so much from your mom and sis from interviewin' them so to meet you got me like really excited!" She chuckled into a sigh before her face shifted to a determined look, as if saying she's ready to knock Cleo out in one punch if she gets the chance.
"But just cause I think you're really cool, don't think I won't beat you now~" she teased.
