Thunder Ryuko vs. Katsumi Oshiro

Katsumi was hoping to wear down her opponent and secure things in her advantage. That's what she needs for this momentous match. She needs Ryuko aching and weak. A good start is weakening her core - a favorite go-to for Katsumi. But then the girl's freakin' skull crashes against her cheekbone.

"Ahn!," yelps the punkette. Her head whips back, and comes back in only for a second reverse-headbutt! She immediately releases the brunette's middle and backs up a few steps defensively. Her hands raise to her wounded face, eyes tearing up from the impact. Not from the pain! Really! Honest! God, she hates hits around the face. It's too easy to cause tearing.

Ryuko had an opening and now she had to capitalize on it! She surged forward, reaching out to try to grab hold of Katsumi. The thunder empress reached out to grab Katsumi's head under her arm while reaching down to get a handful of her waist. Ryuko took a breath as she lift Katsumi up, trying to lift her straight up high and in turn crashing back to the canvass with a vertical suplex! Ryuko was bent on getting some payback... as well as re-establishing herself against a foe who was proving to be far tougher, and more skilled than she had previously imagined!

Indeed, Katsumi was dangerous in the ring but Ryuko was out to show the young woman that she herself was the big threat between the ropes on this night. Ryuko was still a title contender in her mind, and this match was a chance for her to show that to the rest of LAW!

Head snagged and yanked under Ryuko's arm, Katsumi's hand moves quickly from her eyes in favor of grappling back at the other woman. Her hopes of preventing the set up are dashed, however, as her waist is taken and her body hefted into the air. Dazed and beaten-up already, the punkette can only hang in the air, trapped with impending doom awaiting her on the mat below. The dread builds, her boot-tips pointing ramrod up at the ceiling.

"Nononono!"

Swinging down, Katsumi's back slams hard against the ring to shuddering impact. "Ghh..!" Her muscles ignite in pain, causing an inwards cringe and spasm before she drops flat to her back. Her world is pain at the moment, and her limbs aren't wanting to cooperate. Lips parted, the fae punkette exhales a weak groan.

Ryuko looked down at her handiwork, catching her own breath as Katsumi laid there in obvious pain. Maybe now was a good time to introduce her to her plasma bomb finisher? Ryuko decided to take that chance. The thunder empress rolled over, pushing herself up to her feet before bending over to grab Katsumi by the hair. She shoved Katsumi's head between her legs and bent over to grab Katsumi around the waist. Ryuko hoist her up and held her high on her shoulders before spinning around a few times to disorient the young woman.

Ryuko's plan was to stop once she faced the center of the ring and, if all went well, send Katsumi crashing down to the ring to complete her finisher! This pesky woman was a handful, and better than Ryuko expected as she had put a few good scares into the thunder empress. Ryuko needed to end this and now, otherwise Katsumi would have more chances to sneak back in and quickly gain momentum the way she had previously!

Hair grabbed, Katsumi is simply dragged back up to a vertical base. Her head is jammed between Ryuko's thighs, and the situation isn't lost on her. Ryuko, someone she used to watch a lot, even admire and envy, currently has her head stuffed between her legs. What the actual Hell, life.

Arms wrap around her middle, and the punkette is swung into the air. She finds herself mounted on the brunette's shoulders, and she's pretty certain she knows what's coming. If this goes through, that's it. She's got nothing left. And though she's beaten up, tired, and uncoordinated at this point, Katsumi wants this win so badly. Every win matters, but this one feels extra important - a benchmark in her career.

"Aahh!," she cries out as she throws herself back, attempting to swing her body upside-down and drag Ryuko up and over into a frankensteiner reversal! It's an all-or-nothing attempt!

Ryuko was in shock as her body was falling back instead of forward, her eyes wide in terror! "What?! No no n- Arrrrghhhhh!" Ryuko shouted as her finisher was countered, leaving her laid out and stunned as Katsumi had again prolonged the match, leaving Ryuko on the mat in pain! Ryuko kicked and tried to get up but her body just wasn't able to after her head was planted hard to the mat. She was in a heap, laying there at Katsumi's mercy if Katsumi was able to get up and capitalize on her opening.

This was exactly what Ryuko feared. Her energetic young opponent had an opening and chance to run away to take momentum before Ryuko could halt it. It was a dangerous position to be in and Ryuko was kicking herself for failing to get the job done.

It worked? It worked! Katsumi, now on hands and knees, hardly believes she managed to pull it off and evade an impending doom. "Haah.. haah..," she pants, shoulders rising and falling dramatically with each breath.

Her mind is hazy and her focus fraying at the metaphorical ends, but she's clinging on. She knows Ryuko hit the mat, and with a glance back, can plainly see that she's stunned on the mat on her back. She's open. She can't not capitalize. One seized moment can be the major turning point she needs!

Katsumi pumps her legs to shoot to her feet. With a barbaric yell, the young woman darts past Ryuko, skipping neatly over her torso. With a leap, she plants her boots against the middle rope and vaults herself backwards, her body arching with a clean springboard moonsault, aiming to smash her bare stomach across Ryuko's toned belly!

Ryuko was down, and she looked out. However, she heard the footsteps of Katsumi and looked up watching her bounce up onto the ropes. As she sailed into the air the thunder empress realized that she had to pay her back. Counter for counter. She winced as she raised her legs up, leaving her knees as the surface Katsumi's abdomen would come crashing down upon as opposed to her own abdomen! Ryuko could only hope that the hard crash landing of Katsumi on her knees would lead to an opening for herself.

Ryuko had to be more cautious. She had to measure Katsumi better before going in for the kill. Ryuko simply wasn't in the shape to withstand much more if Katsumi managed to get on a roll. Katsumi with built up momentum was a dangerous thing.... Ryuko could not let herself lose this match!

Katsumi can see those knees raise. She's in the air. There's nothing she can do. She sucks in a gasp, only for it to be expelled in an instant as her stomach folds against Ryuko's knees. "Ghhh..!" The punkette remains balanced on Ryuko's legs for a moment before rolling to the side, agonized, and writhing on the mat. Her arms loop her midsection, eyes squeezed shut and teeth grit.

The wallowing brings the Punk Princess to her knees, her forehead pressed into the mat. She can't uncurl on her own right now. Her midsection, her abs, her core - none of it wants to engage, and it's all screaming in pain. The girl is wholly at Ryuko's mercy, and the worst part is, Katsumi knows it. She wants to fight her way to her feet, but she can't on her own. She wants to uncurl and force her body to relax and get moving again, but she can't make herself.

That's it. She knows there's nothing left for her. Ryuko, someone she looked up to before she began her own wrestling career, is about to end her. She would've loved to have this match - not just for the fans, but for herself. She wants to swear. The only sound that comes out is a strained whimper.

Ryuko gasped fr breath, wobbling and swaying as she rose to her feet. When she looked down at Katsumi she saw the look of a woman defeated, it was a look Ryuko knew fairly well.... at least in others. The thunder empress reached down, grabbing hold of Katsumi by the head and thrusting it between her legs. Now it was the time to end this for good.

Ryuko bent down, grabbing Katsumi and once more looking to end her with the plasma bomb! Ryuko took a deep breath, trying to lift Katsumi as high as she could before stopping, changing direction to send her crashing back to the mat with a thunderous sound! The ring ropes shook and Ryuko folded Katsumi over, keeping her pinned down to the mat! "Count it you buffoon!" Ryuko called out to the referee who slid in to place to begin a pin count!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

The count started and marched on with Ryuko holding her breath. She was pretty gassed and if this pesky punk managed to kick out of this she would be at a total loss as to what it would take to keep her down.
