This was probably the biggest match yet for Austin Felix's burgeoning LAW career. The stakes were huge--Austin had zero desire to become Penelope's object post-match, especially since he had heard rumors that his opponent sometimes seemed to become a tad...sadistic towards opponents. This match was also Austin's first cage match at LAW. He had been in one or two cage matches before coming to LAW, but this was the big leagues now. He was determined to show the LAWniverse that, when you cage a wild animal, it becomes much, much more dangerous.

Focus, Austin, he chided himself internally. It's time to begin.

With that, Austin stepped out onto the stage as his music blared throughout the arena. Apparently, a crowd of 60,000 people were here tonight to watch.

Well then, he'd do his best to give them a show!

The crowd's cheering reassured Austin as he walked down to the ring and entered through the cage door. As he climbed into the ring, Austin noted the space between the ring itself and the wall of the steel cage. There was enough room for one person to walk, maybe even shimmy a table up and out from under the ring, but it would be easy to get cramped if he and Penelope started fighting down there.

That...might be useful, actually, Austin made a mental note, then slid through the ropes into the ring itself. He flexed for the crowd from two separate corners of the ring, then finally settled down into his corner as his music went quiet. He then looked towards the entrance stage to await his opponent:

The referee checked to make sure both fighters were ready, then exited the cage and signaled to the bellman nearby.

The match was on.

Austin knew he was physically stronger than Penelope, so he planned to try to use his size and strength to his advantage with an aggressive opening attack. He immediately sprinted across the ring towards Penelope, and made like he was going to clothesline her.

It was a feint, however, and at the last moment, Austin lowered his arm and lifted his knee up instead. He let his momentum carry him towards Penelope, hoping to connect his kneecap to her gut for a massive strike early in the match...

Austin glanced at Penelope's knee rising for a kick in response to his charge, but it was too little, too late. After getting hit. Austin did back up. Before she can do anything Austin made moves on her. These movements confused her. She didn't know what make of it.

Austin enjoyed taunting Penelope, but he didn't let the banter take away from his speed or capabilities, or his instincts in a fight.

He quickly advanced on Penelope once again, albeit not with a sprint this time. Penelope's defenses were up this time, so Austin slowed down in front of her. Austin threw a couple jabs to test her defenses, but Penelope blocked or deflected them all. On the final "jab," though, Austin grabbed Penelope's left arm and pulled, spinning her around so her back was to Austin. He threw Penelope's left arm up and around his own neck, then wrapped his right arm around her waist next to him. Her incredible body felt good against his, distractingly so.

Focus, Austin. You'll be able to do THAT after you win!

Then, he lifted Penelope up in the air before letting her weight begin carrying her back down. Austin dropped to one knee as she fell, his right knee in front of him--and Penelope slammed down onto it, Austin's knee smashing Penelope between her legs.

Austin had let himself get too comfortable after his early successes, and now he was paying the price. He stumbled backwards a few steps as he held his wounded jaw, turning away from Penelope and bending over slightly in response to the pain.
