Endless Greetings at tea time: Ashley and E'isa

What started as an annoying and laborious day had suddenly become something else, something... unexpected. So far, Ashley's experiences with "co-workers" outside the ring had turned just as violent as actual matches (not that the redhead did anything to prevent this from happening). But this time, it seemed like things were going well... almost too well... Ashley was not used to this feeling in the least.

Meeting E'isa again was certainly not in Ashley's cards when she woke up in her apartment this morning, much less... enjoying her company? The redhead was still hesitant about opening up completely to the brunette, still keeping her guard up to a certain extent. But, in the end, Ashley didn't detect any bad intentions.

Perhaps, just this once, the British woman would let her feelings guide her.

"I don't have any plans but...

...wait...

...bestie?!"

This moment, a relaxing, funny, surprising moment with Ashley, was so fun and unexpected. It was something she could've never predicted; a greeting and meeting with tea to top things off, but it showed how important it is to always take chances. Attempt things, always shoot your shot, and who knows what will happen. Now E'isa was enjoying herself, continuously testing Ashley's patience and comfort with her. E'isa would call her bestie? Smiling, awaiting the answer. Hearing that she didn't have plans made her excited, but then she'd laugh at Ashley's response to the idea that they were already best friends.

"Si Si! TU MEJOR AMIGA EN EL MUNDO! (YES! YES! YOUR BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! IT'S ME!)

Unable to contain her excitement! The ideas that came to mind, just the thought of them getting to hang out.

"We can go to the movies, the zoo, the circus, go eat at some of her favorite spots, maybe even go to the mall!"

The idea of not only seeing how Ashley shopped but potentially being able to recommend things she thought the Brit would look cute in? It made her want to do a happy dance!

"omg omg we have to go to the mall we ca-"

*Ringing*

Annoyed that her phone was ringing. Motioning to Ashley to give her a second.

"Huhhh? Mmmm? Yeah? Ugh... Now? Do I have t- FINEE! I'M GOING!"

*Hanging up the phone!* E'isa would like to enjoy Ashley's presence more. It made her very happy; she felt like she had made a friend today. But business was calling..

"Hey, I'm sorry.. That was someone important. I'm gonna have to head out, you have my number though. I would love the opportunity to hang out again, maybe you can tell me more about you. I would love to find out who the Real Ashley Morgan is. Until then, I must go! Adios, Linda!"

Smiling and making a heart shape with her hands before she'd turn and leave. Walking back to the locker room to pack before heading out.

"What the hell had just happened?"

Ashley thought to herself, baffled once again...

Confused about the whole situation... about how fast everything had happened... about how unexpected and unusual everything had been. She brought one hand up and massaged her brow with her thumb and index fingers. Raising her gaze, Ashley saw the brunette walking away as suddenly as she had arrived. It seemed like the Latina was always in the middle of something; there was never a dull moment with her. The redhead had had this impression when they first met back at "The Goddess Gym", and after today's meeting, this impression had been reaffirmed.

But, unlike that time, Ashley felt that now she had gotten something out of the encounter, something not quite palpable, but very much real... perhaps -This is how it felt to have... someone she could rely on?

Ashley shook her head, finally coming back to reality... She looked around and realized that she was standing all by herself next to the catering table. She placed the teacup back on the tablecloth and readied herself to leave. Taking a deep breath, Ashley reached into the pocket of her jacket and grabbed E'isas' card again. She stared at it for a few moments. The Brunette's parting words still echoing in her mind, Ashley smiled briefly -A quick and short gesture that no one would see.

"Hmph! Perhaps I will..." she chuckled and placed the card back into her pocket. Ashley headed for the exit.
