Oy vey. Halloween smacked her face so hard, it would have to count as her first hit of the night.

Should’ve seen that coming. Hanako was a good wrestler, at her core - heck, if she were being completely honest, she could admit she was the better wrestler between them. She typically came out ahead in their spars, especially when matches got up close and personal. She’d gone to bed with more than a few bruises when their training sessions got out of hand, so she knew better than anyone: Lovers could be dangerous.

When she was focused. When she wasn’t distracted. So, it was kind of a tossup. She’d seemed focused for the opening of this match, at least as much as she ever was, but all it took was one distraction to throw her off the rails. All thanks to blondie, over there.

She looked over and grimaced as her partner wound up taking a suplex, and a nasty one at that, dumped hard on her shoulder and sent rolling. Lovers wound up coming to a rest in the center of the ring, but she did start to sit back up after a moment. She’d always been tougher than she looked, though that didn't really say much.

Halloween took a moment to flip Morgan off from across the ring, then brought all of her attention back on her partner. She hopped up on the bottom rope and leaned over the top, her pigtails flopping about as she bounced. ”Hanako! Come on, keep your head in the game!”

Pretty useless advice for most anyone else, but with Lovers? Yeah, a reminder wouldn’t hurt.

Morgan gave a finger waggling wave in response, her smile turning into a giggle as she leaned over the ropes. Lovers might have found that fun. Halloween did not. Clearly Lovers would be more fun to wrestle and she was in the ring right now. Her attention shifted back to the combatants in the ring. Callie probably would be boring and refuse to tag right now, but maybe if her partner happened to wander over here, Morgan tag herself in. She smiled, that seemed like a good plan.

Callie had been relieved her maneuver worked, but she couldn't slow up now. She rolled back up to her feet and advanced towards Lovers who had just begun sitting up. Good, keep her down. She needed time to work on wearing her down and then Morgan could be trusted with a tag. That would involve at least a few slams to knock an opponent around and at least one or two submissions to get something hurting enough. Lovers' legs were probably the most important so despite submissions not being an area Callie had a lot of talent in, she knew enough to throw a couple of at her.

As her opponent reached a full sit-up, the Indie raced in and threw back her leg and aimed a soccer kick right at her center torso to stifle that recovery. Hopefully that bought her enough time to grab that right ankle, her hands coming around to grab at the foot first to try and fold Lovers over onto her belly amid that reaction from the earlier kick. Once accomplished, Callie would drop to a knee, looking to pin Lovers over ankle down with her knee while her hands got to work twisting at Lovers' right ankle to hopefully slow her down for the rest of the match. No way this lead to a tap, but.... It'd be nice if it did.

Morgan had begun hopping on her side. She grew anxious that Callie was going to hog all the fun. "Callie tag me in, quick! I can take over!" Morgan hollered, reaching a hand out. It was a long way from the center of the ring, but any amount of time saved would speed up her time to be in the ring.

Callie glanced over shaking her head. "No! Let me just make it easier for you, first!" She replied, trying to focus more on her submission than Morgan's incessant calling. Callie! Callie! Come on!

Lovers shook her head as she pulled her way up, still trying to make sense of the situation. Why had Morgan even called out to her? Did she want to talk about something? Kind of a weird thing to do, right in the middle of a match, though she wouldn’t have minded getting a little close and personal with the blonde. Neither of the women were uncute, but Lovers had always been a little more partial to blondes, in part because she was one herself. Had to stick up for your own people, naturally. She wondered if the girl was spoken for. Heck, maybe she and Callie were a thing like her and Halloween, that would be fun. The four of them could have a lot of fun when this match was through, provided she could talk her partner into it, which was never a sure thing. She could always be fussy when it came to sensual matters, despite having such a killer body. One time, Lovers had tried to get into some kinky roleplay, but she kept shooting it down, even when she suggested they pretend it was one of her horror movies. She could dress up like Sadako, slink into her bed one night while the TV was funny, and-

”Hanako, heads up!”

Lovers snapped back to reality a moment too late, as her opponent came racing in and struck her back with a blazing kick. She yelped, her high-pitched squeal echoing across the arena, and she found herself on her back a moment later. Callie moved fast and smart, seizing her ankle and twisting, leaving her Lovers to wallow on the canvas as she worked the hold ”Owowowowowowowowow-”

Biting her lip, she looked over and saw Halloween bouncing on her heels, too far away for the tag just now. There was a chance she might step in to break the hold, if things got too serious, but Lovers didn't think the situation was dire. There was a good chance she could pull this back around and she went for it, clawing at the canvas and dragging them along the ring, making a mad scramble for the ropes. If she could just get close enough, she would reach out, grasp the bottom one and break this hold.

If.

Callie had always been nervous for some of the bigger shows back in America. Heck, even the small crowds made her sweat, but the one show where she was in a crowd measured in a hundred was really nerve-racking. She could always remember her mistakes or maybe how she wasn’t doing things correctly from those. That wasn’t to say she was bad, quite the contrary, Callie was skilled enough to be a competitive wrestler. However, she was not a maestro of moves, certainly not submissions. So as her opponent sank her nails in and pulled herself toward the rope, Callie was trying to clamp it down but she couldn’t prevent it. Someone more skilled than her maybe could.

Inch by inch, the pair migrated over the ropes. Lovers dragging herself just enough to eventually have Callie shift forward to keep herself on top of her opponent to maintain the hold’s potency.

It was inevitable in most cases that an opponent with the will enough could reach the ropes or break free. Callie understood this so she was more focused on keeping the submission going and as painful as necessary to further wear down Lovers. Plus the crawl towards the ropes was exhausting as well. It was all working out.

Eventually Lovers would reach the ropes, tagging it. The ref called for a break of the submission. Callie complied immediately, she’d always do so for someone that was able to hang on for a submission, crawling towards salvation. It took strength to do so which was respectable.

Respect, however, didn’t mean that this wasn’t a wrestling match and Callie’s mind began working on where to go next. She rose, stepping around to the Lovers side and-

Tag!

Callie felt the slap on her shoulder. She froze, confused initially at what happened but that was understandable as she was oblivious to where Lovers had dragged them too and she did not understand her partner’s willingness to do anything to get into the match. Including tagging her without her knowing.

Turning, Callie saw Morgan sliding in under the top rope, popping up with a great big grin.

“Wait. What?”

Callie blinked, confused, looking at her partner.

“I tagged in, silly! I can’t let you have all the fun now if you’ll excuse me~”

Callie stood there for a second longer before she realized what this meant. She grabbed Morgan before she could get away.

“No, wait! Not yet!”

The ref came over and pointed.

“You! Out of the ring. One!”

“I don’t accept the tag! I’m still in!”

“Two!”

“I-“

Callie started but it was futile. She released her partner and slipped out from under the top rope. Morgan scurried off to the other side of Lovers to prevent the tag back. Great. Not nearly enough prep work for Morgan to do much. She’s going to lose this match…

Callie slumped in the corner watching as Morgan began her debut.

Morgan had put Lovers in between her and her partner. She was positively beaming in excitement because it just so happened that Lovers was inching her way over their side of the ring. Callie not paying attention and walking right into arm’s reach was silly on her part. She should have known Morgan wanted to join as soon as she could have.

“Heeeeeey Hanako~ Ready for fun?”

Morgan chirped as she bent down to grab a handful of Lovers’ blonde hair and “help” pick her up. Then she’d try to drag Lovers over to the corner to start off with a bang! Some type of high flying daredevil move she thought. Maybe in the future she could get those fireworks to go off as she leapt off…

Not even three minutes in and this match was already going off the rails. Halloween should’ve seen this coming.

She rocked back and forth on her heels, teetering and tottering on the apron while she held the ropes with a white-knuckled grip. Lovers’ scream had affected her a little more than she would’ve liked to admit. Despite their time apart, despite their differences, there was still a real, annoying part of her that still had some flame from the crazy blonde, which just made her all the more annoying. Years apart, and the woman could still leave a mark.

So, it brought her some small relief when Lovers managed to get the ropes and break the hold, earning her freedom. Some small measure of it, anyway. She was still on the other side of the ring, deep in enemy territory. Halloween needed to get the tag, but to make that work, she needed some kind of distraction.

Thankfully, she would get one. Just not in the way she expected.

Her eyebrow popped up as Morgan made the tag, making her way into the ring without her partner’s consent. That was…interesting? Yeah. It seemed like she and Lovers were the only dysfunctional tag team, here. Probably should’ve expected that from a tag team called the ‘TBDs’. Honestly.

She looked between them as they squabbled, then over to Lovers, who was crawling her way at a steady pace. She held out her hand and leaned on the ropes as she neared, so close, so close…

Not close enough. Morgan swooped in and got between them, stopping her before she could come close and hauling her up by the hair. She probably thought Lovers would be an easy target, too worn out to fight back, but she would learn just how wrong that notion was when she got her in the corner.

The moment Morgan made some space between them, Lovers made her play. Gripping the ropes tight, she pulled up, tucked her legs in, then shot them up high at her opponent’s face, looking to ram her in the face with both heels at once.

Morgan found herself lightly humming as she dragged Lovers away from her partner. That would have been pesky, having to start with a fresh opponent who might not be so easily placed into the fancy types of moves the magician wanted to do. Plus Lovers was waaaaay cuter than Trick-or-Treat over there. Her gaze shifted over to Callie who was watching with her hands on the sides of her head like there was something bad happening, but she was a worry-wart. Lovers was so tuckered out she just came right along with Morgan all the way to the corner, away from both of the tags because Callie would tag herself in for sure. Pausing just before the turnbuckle, Morgan pulled Lovers' head in closer.

"Don't tell her, but Callie was a bit boring and vanilla starting out, Lovers. I think we can do something more exciting. So off to the corner you go!"

Stepping back, Morgan looked to spin and throw Lovers into the turnbuckle with a bit of a flourished spin. She released her hair and grabbed an arm to spin, managing to get Lovers to start and-

Oh. That was cool.

Morgan couldn't help but think that as Lovers held onto the ropes and popped up with enough vertical to raise her heels right up to her face. It was cool because Morgan hadn't seen that before. Callie couldn't do it. Bad because the bottom of those boots came right at her face.

The magician's eyes shut right before impact, heels kicking off her cheekbones sent her head backwards first while the rest of her trailed behind right into the turnbuckle she had full intentions of dumping Lovers in. Morgan slammed against the padding with the rope links raddling from the impact! Her arms flung out and drapped over the ropes as she leaned back, completely dazed with her eyes wide.

She was used to pain, often having to experience that when a trick might go a bit awry, but a kick to the head was new.

Morgan smelled good.

She was only able to get a whiff of her when she came in and whispered her way, but she liked what she smelled. Lovers had always been a smell-oriented person, even when she was a little kid, with her grandmother saying she was part bloodhound…which, come to think of it, was a weird thing to say to a five-year-old, but she was always kind of odd. True or not, she got a good scent of the woman, taking in this earthy, breezy sort of smell. It reminded her of that scent you get right before it rains, that ozone smell. Mixed with a little peppermint. Could’ve been her shampoo, since her hair was all over the place. Nice and long and shimmering, not unlike her own. Maybe they could trade hair tips when this was over? Lovers had been thinking about cutting hers a little short now that she was in LAW, mix it up a little, but she could use a second opinion.

She made a mental note on trading number when this was over. For now, she locked in on her current efforts, with her managing to turn tide on the newly tagged in Morgan, sending her hard into the corner. Lovers’ first instinct was to tag in Halloween, and she might just have done that, too, if not for her opponent’s earlier comments. She wanted to get a little close and personal? Well, what sort of lover would Lovers be to deny her.

Lovers popped to her feet, rushed in, and pounced on her opponent like a jungle cat. She reached out and brought her hands behind the woman’s neck, holding on tight while she planted her foot on Morgan’s thighs. She hung there for a moment, precariously poised, clinging to her opponent for a moment that stretched on.

Lovers leaned in, just quick enough to plant a single kiss on her opponent’s lips. A peck. A tease. The first of many. ”How’s that for exciting?”

She asked the question, but didn’t give Morgan the time to answer before she jerked backwards, pulled her opponent with her, shot her legs out, and attempted to send her flying with a Monkey Flip.

Morgan would probably have to find something to wipe her cheeks soon. Who knows where Lovers' boots have been, well, aside from the mat and the magician's face. It was a bit of a compulsion for a performer such as her to always worry about having a bit of lunch or makeup just slightly blemishing her face. Nobody wanted to be the performer with something on their face that their audience couldn't help but focus on. It was sooo distracting.

Although that was probably secondary to her current issue as the weight of her opponent lunged onto like predator. The lights overhead that Morgan had been lost in were now shadowed by the smile of her opponent, lingering close. So close. Morgan didn't really mind the staring contest as the two stared into each other's eyes. It might have even been romantic had they not been wrestl-

Oh.

Morgan watched Lovers lean and bring her lips to bare against her in just a little tease. That was romantic. Was Lovers wearing flavored lip gloss? It tasted fruity on her lips. Callie never said anything about her opponent's kissing her, so Morgan was a bit dumbfounded at first. Though Morgan thought about teasing her opponents like that, so it was strange that she would be the one to get teased instead. Effective, though. Morgan would have to try it, for sure.

Exciting maybe didn't cover everything Morgan felt at that moment.

Though there wasn't much time to really dwell on those feelings or even respond before she was rolled in, what was likely an exciting move to watch, a flip. Morgan's mouth hung open as she was rolled and then flipped over, managing to somersault into a full flip by the time she was released.

She shrieked in the air, noticing Callie had now been covering her eyes, coming down to impact the mat with loud shake of the ring.

"Uunnh..." Morgan grunted, the impact sending the noise out of her mouth. She flattened against the mat, arms stretched out wide as one leg started to bend up, dragging her boot along the mat. She winced, closing her eyes for a moment before she slowly tried to sit up.

She'll have to use that move in the future, too.

Did…did Lovers just kiss Morgan? It was hard for Halloween to see from her vantage point, and she hadn't been 100% paying attention, but that was what it sort of looked like from where she stood. The two were getting up close and personal, and her partner whispered something in the woman’s ear before. Halloween narrowed her eyes as she watched, hoping against hope that this wasn’t the start of something bad - this was not the time for Lovers to give her a painful reminder of why they broke up in the first place.

For now, at least, she seemed to be on point. The Monkey Flip was always one of her best moves, and she executed it well enough, sending Morgan soaring through the air. She came down for a rough landing, right on her tailbone from the looks of it, leaving her groaning on the mats.

Lovers, for her part, was looking good. All that heckling from earlier bought her some good recovery time, it seemed, and she had more than enough energy to throw her legs up for a kip up, rising in an instant and winking back her way. ”Hey, do I still got it?

Halloween groaned, looked to the sky, then glared back her way. ”Yeah, you still got, now get her!”

Lovers was already on the move before she could finish her command, spinning about and dashing towards Morgan from behind, as she’d rose up into a sitting position. She waited until the last moment, then leaped over her opponent’s head, executing a somersault. She grabbed the woman’s head as she tumbled, pulling her forward with the momentum and making her body whip away when she let go, making her smack on the canvas with a well-executed Neck Snap.

One of her best moves, Halloween remembered, and she always followed it up with a pinfall attempt. Sure enough, she spun back around, leaped on Morgan, and pulled her leg up as she leaned on the woman’s chest, starting up the referee’s count. ”1…!”

Callie knew this would happen. Morgan was prone to goofing off in their training bouts all the time. She cited boredom as the reason because nothing was ever flashy enough. It was why she wouldn’t settle for joining an indie league before moving up to LAW. She just wanted to go straight to the high budget arena. This was even their very first match together as a team, in fact. They only sparred and trained against each other. Overly ambitious? For sure, but it was hard to see anything other than the big name league and the outstanding pay increase.

Callie removed her hands from her face and clenched onto the rope in front of her. Surely they can last longer than five minutes. Morgan was sitting up, good, but Lovers was moving in, fast.

“Morgan, move it!”

Callie hollered but it was pointless.

Morgan was far too slow to get up, instead she caught the mass flipping past her head for a moment before her own head felt the clamping grasp of her opponent seize her, yanking her torso forward before it snapped back. Thrown to the mat again with the ring shaking as both wrestlers impacted the spring loaded platform.

Morgan felt hazy in focus, missing that cute bum of her opponent plump on her chest. Though that did ready her to hear the distinct start of the count.

One?

Was Lovers pinning her? Honestly, the nerve of trying to end this so soon. Her eyes snapped open in a mild scowl that was more cute than intimidating with the overly expressed pouty lips.

The blonde would thrust her other leg up and motion her already lifted one closer to Lovers’ core and then she’d hook her other foot, the one she had to lift, under her opponent’s armpit.

2!…

Morgan then threw all her strength, which was a surprising amount, from her legs and midsection to throw Lovers backwards to slam against the mat. Morgan shot up with her torso forward, arms raising above her head with her hands folding together in a jointly closed fist that came down in a Double Axe Handle aimed right the center of the torso.

“You can’t end it now, Lovers! We still haven’t done anything flashy!”

Content, she extracted herself from Lovers and ran over to turnbuckle, one not by her partner, to start to climb, looking for the big moonsault to really get the audience going!
