[Standard Match] Astrid Arvidsson vs Aurora Lund - About ups and downs (Apex Qualifier Match)

There would hardly be enough suitable words that could describe Astrid's current condition. Two suplexes, a turnbuckle slam, and now a spear... after all this, the fact that she still hadn't lost consciousness seemed like a real miracle. Although in fact, she was very close to it, especially after Aurora finally took a step back, thereby allowing the Golden Dragon to collapse on the mat.

"Gph..." a strangled sound came out of her mouth.

Such a powerful series of attacks was much more impressive than anything the Norwegian woman managed to do in this match. She had to make great efforts not to succumb to the pain that filled her body. But although she was able to keep her mind from plunging into darkness, it had no effect on the fact that the Golden Dragon was practically unable to move. When she tried to just raise her hand, she almost immediately fell back onto the mat. She had never felt so defenseless. And this, of course, was the perfect reason for Aurora to continue her offensive.

Firmly grabbing the blonde by the head, the Swedish woman forced her to take an upright position. However, not for long, because immediately after that she squeezed Astrid's head between her sweaty thighs. The Golden Dragon knew perfectly well what was going to happen next, but unfortunately, she couldn't stop it in any way. With one sharp movement, Aurora lifted her over the mat, at the same time turning her over and putting the norwegian woman on her shoulders. A moment later, golden hair rustled in the gusts of air, and then Astrid's body crashed into the mat with such force that the ring shook.

Astrid, lying on the mat, seemed completely broken and only her heaving chest was a sign that she was still alive. There were no other signs of movement. And that was the moment when viewers began to wonder if that was finally enough for Aurora, or if she decided to break every bone in Astrid's body.

The older blonde woman had laid into the Golden Dragon after getting control of the match, she had learned from her meeting before and the beginning of this match that Astrid was not a woman to trifle with. If she wanted to prove her point and show up the younger wrestler she had to pull out all the stops. One could say that she had done so already, a string of powerful and painful moves that had the crowd worried that the match might even be over already.

The Legend stood with Astrid's head shoved between her thighs now, ready to put what could be the final nail in the coffin. Heaving Astrid up in a display of power, she held her aloft for no more than a couple seconds...before she brought Astrid down and slammed her into the canvas with that brutal powerbomb! The impact of the mighty Aurora slamming the fellow blonde heavyweight down into the center of the ring sent the ropes of the rings vibrating. Aurora huffed out heavily, she had gassed herself a bit with those heavy moves in such a short period, sweat dripped down her forehead as she looked over the downed frame of the Astrid's, wondering if the Dragon had been slain....

Aurora decided to take the chance, thinking she perhaps had the young rising star beat. Aurora dropped down onto her knees, as she would try to grab a hold of Astrid's legs to begin to fold her rival up in half, pressing her weight down over those legs as she leaned down over the Golden Dragon, going for a matchbook-pin!

Not alive, not dead. Perhaps that was how Astrid's condition could be described. With a series of movements, Aurora did a much more impressive job than the Golden Dragon had done since the start of the match. The Norwegian woman miraculously remained conscious after that powerbomb, but she did not even have the strength to open her eyes, at that moment she felt nothing but wild pain that filled every cell of her body.

“Guuuhhhh...” she groaned faintly, but still painfully, as Aurora grabbed her legs.

Even with her eyes closed, it wasn't difficult for her to figure out what her opponent was up to. Deciding that Astrid had had enough, the Swedish woman finally pinned the Golden Dragon to the mat, folding her securely in half. It didn't take long for the referee to lie down next to the fighters and make sure that Astrid's shoulder blades were firmly pressed against the mat.

“ONE!”

Aurora leaned forward as she folded Astrid's body up in half, pressing her weight down upon those legs and forcing herself down against her foe's body! She went for a secure pin, regardless of the current condition of the Golden Dragon...Aurora had been made aware first hand how spunky and strong Astrid truly was. Therefore she wasn't about to take any chances with a half-hearted pin attempt.

Releasing a huff of air as she looked down at Astrid, her green eyes studying the face of her foe. There was but one thing left and that was to wait for the referee's pin count. They checked Astrid's shoulders and made sure that she was firmly pinned down, then began to slap the canvas, first count came without any resistance...the referee raised her hand again into the air and slapped it down hard on the canvas.

"TWO!"

Astrid's consciousness began to return to normal only after the referee slapped the mat for the second time. There wasn't much pleasant about it, though. She had completely regained her sensitivity, so she could feel every bruise on her body, which was a consequence of the fact that Aurora had been using her as a punching bag for the last five or even ten minutes. It was very sad for Astrid to realize how far she was from her opponent in this match.

It might seem that there was no point in continuing the match. Her few successful moves are nothing compared to what Aurora has demonstrated. First in arm wrestling, now in the match. As they say in such cases, she is destined to lose. When these thoughts sounded in her head, she felt pain in the area of her heart.

“THR!!!...”

Many people found it strange and even inappropriate that Astrid believed in the old Gods. Yet, there is only one thing she does not agree with her great ancestors. They believed that the Gods were determining your fate and there was nothing you could do about it. Astrid believed that even if her fate was predetermined, she would fight to the last drop of blood and sweat to change it. And that's why, for a split second before the referee's hand touched the mat for the third time she jerked violently to the side, breaking the pin.

The crowd seemed silent as the count kept going, there was but a moment left of the match in the minds of a fair amount of the audience. Aurora had a firm pin locked in over her rival, the younger blonde folded up and trapped underneath the older woman. She had displayed the skills as a veteran against the younger talent and if one studied Aurora's expression closely one could probably gather the confidence she had. She had kept her eyes closely monitoring Astrid's face through the first two counts...she felt assured that the Golden Dragon had been slain.

The sudden burst from Astrid and the jerk of her body sent Aurora off her foe. The pin she was certain to be the end of the Norwegian had been broken. She was on her knees, hands on her hips as she released a loud frustrated huff. The referee raised her hand up to show two fingers, signaling that the pin hadn't reached the third count yet, a fact that many seemed surprised at. It had been such a close call, but the referee made sure everyone knew Astrid had managed to kick out.

"You're a stubborn one, aren't you." Aurora spoke out as she would look to reach out to grab a handful of Astrid's blonde mane. Aurora would push up to her feet as she would seek to guide Astrid up to her feet as well, where she would aim to then try to wrap her arms around Astrid's body. Hugging them both closely, as she sought to tighten her arms around the fellow Norse woman's frame, as she aimed to lock in a tight bearhug! Pressing her large bosom firmly against Astrid's as she tried to lift her off of the mat, while squeezing with her impressive might. "Let's see how long your stubbornness will hold out."

After Astrid broke the pin, she remained lying on her left side, gasping for air. Many people think that breaking a pin is the most difficult thing, but in fact it was far from the case. Yes, it certainly requires a lot of willpower from a fighter, yet the most difficult thing comes after the pin is broken, because after that they need to find the strength to continue fighting.

Considering how poorly most of the match was shaping up for Astrid, she wasn't ready to jump to her feet as if she were full of energy and start showering her opponent with attacks. No, she broke the pin, but she was still in very bad shape considering the endless series of attacks Aurora had subjected her to. For the same reason, nothing prevented the Swedish woman from grabbing the Golden Dragon by the hair.

“Gggshhhhh...” hissed Astrid irritably with pain in her voice.

She thought that a veteran like Aurora was quite capable of doing without hair pulling, but apparently she was wrong. The veteran forced Astrid to her feet, and then, before the Norwegian woman could do anything, her opponent wrapped her arms around Astrid's waist. The Golden Dragon's eyes widened because she knew what was going to happen next.

“UUUGGMMMMMM!!!!!!” A strangled groan escaped from her mouth.

Mocking Astrid, Aurora lifted her off the mat, starting to squeeze her body. Quite involuntarily, the descendant of the great Vikings arched her back, placing her palms on her rival's shoulders in an attempt to push her away. Of course, it was all useless. Yes, her arms were free, but she was too weak to push Aurora away.

A lump rose in the blonde's throat. Does it really have to end like this? First, Aurora defeated her in arm wrestling. Astrid considered it just an unfortunate combination of circumstances and was confident that she would be able to show what she was capable of in the ring. But after several successful moves, Aurora started throwing her all over the ring for about ten minutes. And now Astrid could feel the oxygen leaving her body. Is she really so far behind her opponent that the only thing waiting for her is a second defeat in a row?..

“GGRRRRRRAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!” It didn't sound like a groan anymore, it sounded more like a furious growl.

Taking advantage of the fact that her arms were free, Astrid intended to wrap them around Aurora, pressing the veteran's arms to her torso. Damn. Astrid hated losing. She hated losing even more than she loved winning. She just couldn't lose today. Not twice in a row. She came here to crush everyone in her path, even if it would be the most entitled veteran in the world. With fury in her eyes, she intended to strain every muscle in her arms. With a reciprocal bearhug hold, she was going to squeeze Aurora so hard that the veteran realized from the very first seconds that she could not win in this confrontation of bearhug holds.

The legendary veteran had decided that she needed to teach this upstart a bit of a lesson. It was a thought which had mostly formed through the course of the match, while she respected Astrid's skill and tenacity, a part of her thought her too foolhardy to think she could face off against THE Aurora Lund. There was a bit of pride speaking there, though Aurora relished the chance to face off against powerful foes like Astrid. She still felt as if she had to exert a degree of authority in this match and show that even if she was getting older it didn't mean that she wasn't still one of the most fearsome foes around, one to be treated with a bit more respect and reverence perhaps.

As such, perhaps she had been going a bit harder on Astrid than she had initially intended. After she had gotten the momentum fully in her corner, she laid into the Golden Dragon with mighty throw, slam and now...squeeze! The powerful arms of the blonde veteran wrapped around Astrids body and hoisted her up into the air where she began to squeeze with that fearsome might of hers! The Swedish powerhouse intent on crushing the Norwegian youngster! She heard the cries and groans from Astrid, a signal to Aurora that perhaps it wouldn't be long now.

However. It seemed that she had underestimated Astrid. Greatly so. The fellow blonde's groan turning more into a growl as the arms of Astrid latched around her own frame. The struggles from the Norwegian soon enough forced Aurora to lower her down onto her feet as Astrid repaid the favour by locking Aurora into a bearhug! The two of them struggled for a few seconds, but Aurora could feel Astrid's strength ramping up...the eyes of Aurora widened as she also started to feel her arms faltering a bit, Astrid's strength was beginning to overtake her own! "Gragh!..." Aurora grunted out in pain as she glared into Astrid's eyes. The Veteran was stubborn though, she couldn't accept Astrid overpowering her. She tried to continue this bearhug struggle, squeezing as hard as she could against Astrid!...Though the longer this continued, the more ground Astrid's might would gain, and the powerful squeeze from the Golden Dragon slowly sapped the strength away from the Legend's own hug!

After losing in arm wrestling, Astrid felt like a complete idiot and she couldn't let it happen again in the ring. Although she didn't have time to look around, she was sure that after the seemingly endless series of moves from Aurora, the audience clearly began to believe that she had no chance against such a great veteran. This was probably what annoyed the Golden Dragon the most. She knew that there were not only victories in a fighter's life, their meeting in the bar was proof of that, but she would rather die than lose to Aurora in the ring after what happened.

The descendant of the great Vikings used all the emotions bubbling inside her and turned them into power. Responding to her rival with the same coin, she squeezed Aurora's body, forcing the Swedish woman to put the blonde back on the mat. Huffing and puffing, Astrid did everything in her power to keep her grip strong. At some point, she felt that the Authors' arms began to tremble, but even so, the veteran remained steadfast, still trying to squeeze the remaining air out of the Golden Dragon.

Astrid's face was as red as a tomato, and streams of sweat were running down her bruised body, even her sports bra was soaked through. In a way, it was a miracle that she was still standing, because Aurora had used the bearhug hold right after she finished using Astrid as a punching bag. Astrid's arms also began to tremble, while she felt a burning pain in her chest, which was the clearest sign that the oxygen in her lungs was almost gone.

At that moment, Astrid's eyes crossed with her rival's. Oh, she saw it. She saw exactly the same thing she saw in the bar. You're just an upstart and you don't belong in the ring with a veteran like me. Because of this, a flame flashed in the lavender eyes of the Golden Dragon. Astrid intended to get to the very top of LAW, and she would not allow anyone to interfere with her, especially a woman who, in her pride, decided that she had the right to look down on the Golden Dragon.

“UUUGGRRRRMMMMAAAAAAHHHH!!!”

With a wild roar filled with both rage and pain, the descendant of the great Vikings intended to arch in her back, while straining her arms so hard that the veins on them literally bulged. She intended to switch places with her rival and lift Aurora into the air, thereby further strengthening her grip. She had no right to lose today, she couldn't let this woman walk away with victory after she dared to look down on Astrid as if the Norwegian woman hadn't had a chance in this match from the very beginning.

Aurora was somewhat baffled at this point! She was taken by surprise by the sheer grit and determination of the Golden Dragon. She didn't expect things to turn out this way. The veteran had been laying into Astrid, but the Norwegian wrestler had down just why she may just deserve to stand in this ring with her...with her fighting her way back to her feet and squeezing right back on the older blonde's body!

Gritting her teeth to try to withstand the tremendous force that the gold dragon was inflicting upon her, Aurora could simply imagine the sound of creaking bones from the intense pressure! She gasped...slowly feeling herself being forced off her feet as Astrid began to turn things around completely! "Gaahh!!" Aurora cried out as she was lifted clean off the mat...unable to prevent Astrid's comeback! She gasped, and shook her head, her ribs felt like they were being crushed and ground into dust!

"GrrghhGHHHHH!" Aurora groaned out loudly through now gritted teeth as slowly but surely her own bearhug began to fade, her hands would struggle and shift. Instead focusing on trying to find some way to break free, pushing against the arms of Astrid with whatever currently futile effort she could challenge the mighty Dragon with!
