This was starting to become a regular occurence, Marzia thought to herself as she stood behind the curtain rubbing her head. Once again, the opponent they had scheduled her to fight was a newcomer, someone she hadn't heard of before. Marzia didn't know what to think of that. Either they felt confident using her to try out new opponents...or they just viewed her as a jobber who no one would care about to be let loose against the newcomers and make them look good. She sighed, hoping it was at least the former if it was anything at all.
But as she looked at herself one last time in the mirror, adjusting her outfit and blushing a little as she made sure her top was securely fastened, Marzia took in a deep breath, telling herself in her head that she could do this. She knew that there were people out there counting on her, cheering for her. Her refusal to give up despite the odds had struck a cord with people, and she was the underdog everyone wanted to see take the spotlight. She couldn't let them down...or maybe she could. That was a lot of pressure, Marzia thought. Great, now she was getting nervous again. Just what she needed as she was being called to the stage.
"This match will be scheduled for one fall! First to the ring, from Rome, Italy! MARZIA SERVELLI!"
"Yes, yes, I'm here-!" Marzia said hastily as she ran out onto the entrance ramp, though as her music started playing it was drowned out - which was probably good, as she didn't want to make a fool of herself any more than she usually did. Taking a breath, Marzia tried to ignore the cheers around her as she made her way to the ring, and bit her lip to keep her composure, hoping that the blush on her face wouldn't be too noticeable. Once she got to the ring, she rolled in under the bottom rope and got to her feet on the other side, stretching in preparation for the match ahead of her.
