Joana Tojo vs. Clarisse Bennett - Vicious Encounter

With Joana staggered, Clarisse had decided to take advantage of this, coming towards her and driving her fist into her gut. "GUFFGHH!!!" Joana's eyes widened as she took the blow to her stomach, causing her to double over as air was forcefully expelled out of her lungs. Then, she took another attack, leaving her stunned and dazed, which allowed Clarisse to continue with her momentum.

Clarisse took this opportunity to take her down, sending the redhead crashing down to the mat. Stunned and unable to do much, the half-Brazilian was unable to stop Clarisse from subjecting her to an arm wrench, causing her to cry out in pain. "AAHHHH!!" This would leave her in such a precarious position, putting her under the mercy of her opponent.

Clarisse remained in position with her knee digging into Joanna's back and arms working on the wrists, yanking the redhead's arm backward at regular intervals before relenting. The two shots to Joanna managed to connect sweetly, thus putting Clarisse in this promising position, and she was already working on how to build upon this advantage.

One thing the Brawler had figured out, out of necessity and from years of combat; targeting a specific part of the body, always paid dividends, however insignificant it might look early on. When the damage would accumulate enough, the consequences would rear their heads during critical junctures of the fight, almost certainly tilting the odds in their favour.

So, relaxing her hold on the wrist, just enough for her to get back up, Clarisse would greet the fiery redhead's back with a couple of meaty kick and pull her body using the held arm to position her on the back. Her visage, not giving away even an inkling of what she was feeling would look down at Joanna, but the eyes masked the cold,cruel intensity that she was going to bring into this fight. She planned to drop on her back for an Arm-Bar, legs draped across her face and the arm hyperextending the limb!

With her downed, Joana was put in quite a precarious position as Clarisse worked on her limb, and the redhead tried her best to endure the pain, hoping to outlast the hold, knowing that Clarisse wouldn't be able to keep her in the hold forever. Soon after that, Clarisse relaxed her hold on her wrist so that she could get up, only to give the half-Brazilian a few kicks to her back, causing her to cry out in pain. "AAGHH!!"

Soon afterwards, Clarisse went to subject Joana to an armbar, putting more pressure into the arm, causing the redhead to cry out in pain some more. "AARGHH!!" She struggled and thrashed in the hold, trying her best to break free, but for the time being, she would remain under the clutch of her opponent, and all she could manage at the moment was to endure the pain.

Clarisse continued to apply pressure on the elbow of the hyperextended arm of the redhead, with every subtle twitch forcing her to cry out and flail wildly. That meant, the hold was having it's effect, and judging by Joanna's response, Clarisse hoped that she was going to feel it throughout the match, no matter how little or large the effect would prove to be. She kept at it for a few more moments, periodically stretching the arm to keep on the pressure.

Now, it was time to tweak the approach a bit. Clarisse saw that Joanna's head was perfectly in place between her legs, primed for a headscissors, and that's what Clarisse tried, loosening the armbar a tad to wrap her legs around her head, and then adjusted the grip on the redhead's arm to align with the clench around her head; and started to apply pressure again, now both the head and the arm feeling the brawler's wrath!

Joana was having a bad time there as her arm continued being subjected to the hold. And then, Clarisse decided to go for another hold, and as she loosened her hold on Joana's arm a bit, the red-haired Brazilian wrestler tried to take advantage of it, but before she could do anything with it, her head was trapped between her opponent's legs, caught in the headscissor.

"NNGGHHHHH!!!"

Joana could only thrash and struggle as Clarisse continued holding her, this time with both her arm and head trapped. The Brazilian slammed her feet onto the canvas in frustration, and she hoped that she could outlast the hold so that her opponent would release her after getting tired of keeping her trapped there. Of course, this would leave her weakened afterwards.

All of the Joanna's wild flailings and thrashing had no effect on the snow-haired woman whatsoever, atleast on the vice-grip she held around the throat, which continued to squeeze and release periodically. Clarisse grit her teeth behind her firmly sealed lips to keep the fiery redhead in place. She was feeling satisfied with how these opening exhanges had gone so far, with the brawler having worked over the individual parts of her opponent to wear her down and these gains were going to be shown as the match went on, Clarisse was certain.

For now, though, Clarisse could feel she wouldn't go far should she keep Joanna trapped in the same hold for a prolonged period of time. The woman was still fresh and it wouldn't be good for her legs as well to be sapped out of energy so early. And so, with a couple to shots to the redhead's face, Clarisse planned to get her into a seated position, still planning to keep this submission spree going and thus would coil her right arm around Joanna's head from behind while on one knee and use the left arm to lock in, now transitioning into a Sleeper Hold!

Despite her struggling and flailing, Joana was unable to get herself out of the headscissor, but soon, Clarisse released her from the hold, though she wasn't letting her go. Still feeling the squeeze from Clarisse's legs earlier, Joana tried to get her mind back in order, but soon, she found herself trapped in a sleeper hold.

The redhead's eyes widened as her neck was squeezed by Clarisse's arm. She continued squirming, this time bringing her hands onto Clarisse's arm looped around her neck, hoping to pry it off of her. Joana was having a hard time there, and she would be weakened by the hold, leaving herself in quite a disadvantageous position before her opponent.

"Uuughhhhh..."

Clarisse continue to apply the choke without any hesitation, squeezing Joanna's neck relentlessly. She could make out the breathlessness and desperation in her actions to find relief, her arm clinging onto the brawler's to try and pry them off.

The audience, sensing the fight tilting into Clarisse's favour started to get behind, which was all the more easy considering her fiery redheaded opponent didn't exactly have a great rapport with the fans. But this in turn started to affect Clarisse as well, who until that point had done well to block out the external noise, which tended to have fatal consequences mentally for the woman.

"Ghhh..." Clarisse clenched her teeth, nostrils flared. She closed her eyes trying to get back into the zone, but the loud noise was now starting to crumble her walls far too easily. Maybe it was due to her being too static and not moving around. She had to switch it up, and thus would pull the redhead back onto her feet and whip her towards the ropes with a muted grunt!

Clariss hoped to catch her with a Dropkick to the chest should the woman get into her range...

Somehow, Clarisse had decided to let go of Joana from the sleeper hold, and the red-haired Brazilian wrestler took this opportunity to take in deep breaths. As she tried to recover, Joana was then pulled back up onto her feet before she was sent running towards the ropes with an Irish whip.

Joana ran towards the ropes, with everyone assuming that she would rebound from them. But knowing that she might end up being struck by Clarisse upon returning to her, Joana would try to stop herself, hooking her arms on the top rope, stopping her momentum and keeping herself at the ropes. She would then watch Clarisse who presumably hit nothing but thin air because the Brazilian stayed at the ropes instead of returning back to her.

"Ffghhh..." Clarisse seethed, more out of surprise than out of discomfort feeling the surface of the mat collide hard with her back, her feet catching nothing but air from the attempted Dropkick. Her back muscles tightened upon contact and her head jerked upwards, resulting in momentary double vision.

Another effect of this miscalculation was the aggravation her poor mental state, which was now starting to affect her movements as well as Clarisse tried to pull herself back up. Her feet trembled, a knowing yet involuntary quiver and so did her hands. The clamour of the mob was getting to hard to ride out now. She had to act fast.

Joanna was against the ropes, arms hooked, leaving her body vulnerable it appeared and Clarisse was planning to take advantage of it. She didn't think too much, or couldn't think too much as she charged towards the redhead, hoping to drive her Knee into her leotard-covered gut!
