End of an Era

Back in 2018, I first joined LAW. I'd always had an interest in RPing and wrestling, and I was captivated by the concept of a shared universe where characters and storylines could impact one another, with a friendly community behind it all.

I have had a lot of involvement in the site and the community since then. It's hard to believe it's been seven years. Unfortunately, my time in LAW cannot continue. I have strong disagreements about the way this site is being run and the people behind it, and how I and other users have been treated on it, and I can no longer support it in good consciousness.

I have made a lot of good friends here, and contributed to many storylines that I greatly enjoyed. I had many plans with many people, and I doubtlessly would have had many more. I wish it could continue, but I no longer find the same enjoyment in LAW that I used to. I'm sure this is news that will come as a disappointment to many people, and I apologize for it.

I harbor no ill will toward anyone who wishes to remain on the site. I am still willing to work with the people I have met here, and to continue the stories we've started. I will continue to be active on AFW, which I intend to direct my full focus toward. If anyone wishes to join me there, or to continue RPing with me there, I encourage them. I am also willing to work with users in DMs and to continue our threads and storylines there. The people I've met and the stories I've told mean a lot to me, and I will always cherish them. I want to still see them through to their full potential, if there is any way we can.

I want to apologize to anyone disappointed by the news. But I also wish you the best of luck for the future, in all of your endeavors.

Don't be sad that it's over. Be happy that it happened.

Man. What am I doing? People have enough problems with their lives in the real world. I shouldn't deprive them, and myself, of something fun that we can enjoy. I'm going to stick around and focus on the positives, because we need that in our lives and I shouldn't let anyone keep that from me.
